Lots of False Alarms
I'm using the mothion sensors outdoors, and on partly cloudy days, each time the sun comes out the motion sensors go off.I even ended up putting one motion sensor in a shoe box to see what was going on.It kept going off for no reason.The idea is a good one, but the false alarms make the system irritating.I've ended up turning off the base station at night to keep it from waking us...which of course defeats the purpose of a motion sensor alarm. ... This device is both an ear piercing security alarm and a pleasant entry announcer. It employs the latest technology to prevent the chime from continually sounding once it has been activated. A common problem with other door chimes is that they will continually sound as long as someone is standing in the detection area. Obviously this can be very annoying in a home or business.
