Amazon.com Product Description

Lower the lights, then fire up the 55-inch Philips 55PW9363 rear-projection TV for a full cinematic experience in your own home. This HD-ready set produces 1080i display conversion, regardless of source, and offers a variety of Philips' advanced video features, including APAC (automatic phosphor aging compensation) and Eye Fidelity. It also features a dual-tuner picture-in-picture, color temperature control, DVI input for optimized high-definition video, and Dolby Virtual surround sound capability.

Stationary images, particularly black bars that outline 4:3 programming on a widescreen TV, can eventually leave an after-image on the screen. The 55PW9363's APAC feature automatically shifts the image, just enough to blur after-image retention, thereby reducing the effect of stationary images. The Active Control Plus function continually adjusts picture settings over 60 times per second, compensating for changes in ambient light and ensuring that the viewing experience is always optimal.

Philips' Eye Fidelity line-doubling feature gives you the choice between progressive-scan (480p) or a line-doubled (1080i) picture when viewing non-HD broadcasts. The interlaced mode provides a doubled-line interlaced display of progressive, which helps smooth out jagged lines seen on curved and angled edges.

With the dual-tuner picture-in-picture, you can tune to a program in the main window, and scan other channels in the PIP window. From a single antenna or cable input, signals are separated into two signals within the television, so no external splitter is required. Other features include a widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio, a three-line digital comb filter, three color temperature settings (warm, normal, cool), a digital histogram, and 7-inch liquid picture tubes (red, green, and blue). The protective screen filter helps prevent accidental damage to the delicate front lenticular screen. This filter has been formulated for HD displays to give the best picture and still protect your investment.

This set has a built-in 181-channel tuner, though you will need an HDTV tuner to receive high-definition broadcasts. The two 10-watt RMS speakers feature Dolby processing circuitry for enhanced surround sound effect that creates the sensation of Dolby Pro Logic without the hassle of additional rear speakers. Other audio features include a sound leveler system and adjustments for volume, bass, treble, balance, AVL, headphone, and bass boost.

The 55PW9363 has HD DVI and component inputs, 3 S-video inputs (1 side), 3 composite A/V inputs (1 side), 1 A/V output, 1 standard component input, and a headphone jack.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Deal!!
I purchased this TV from Amazon about a month ago. Delivery and setup was flawless. The TV itself has a great display, viewable from most angles (much better than the 52" RCA I was looking at). The sound is good and should be adequate for most rooms - I have a 600 Watt Surround system, so I haven't done much with the TV audio. Great price, Great picture and tax free to boot! ... Read more

Amazon.com Product Description

Enjoy compact quality and format flexibility with the Philips 20DV693R TV/DVD combination unit. The 20-inch set plays DVDs, CDs, and MP3 CDs, letting you enjoy the best movies and music right from one device. The set's Real Flat picture tube increases viable viewing angles while reducing reflected ambient light to create a brighter and crisper image. The 20DV693R's digital comb filter removes blurred edges between colors and reduces dot crawl (tiny, moving dots of color along a sharp color separation in a vertical line, as in a depiction of a character's striped t-shirt).

A shadow mask is a thin sheet of perforated metal behind the screen that restricts electron flow, each hole in the sheet corresponding to a single pixel. An Invar mask uses an alloy that's especially resistant to the high temperatures generated by the electron beam, allowing in a brighter, clearer picture.

A hallmark of the set, its QuadraSurf remote control lets you personalize and customize your channel surfing and TV viewing by family member or program theme. QuadraSurf delivers your favorite television shows at the press of a button.

A component-video input grants optimum connection with a compatible DVD player, while standard composite- and S-video inputs accommodate all DVD players. You can choose between a set of rear AV inputs and a set of side AV inputs for extra convenience.

Other 20DV693R features include a 240-minute sleep timer, AutoPicture (which optimizes brightness, contrast, color, tint, and sharpness), AutoLock (which uses V-Chip technology for parental control), and AutoSound (which lets you select settings for voice, music, movies, or custom). Incredible Surround simulates surround sound from the set's two speakers, while bass and treble controls let you adjust the sound to your taste. A side-panel headphone jack affords private listening.

1-0 out of 5 stars DVD Player Faulty
Bought for daghter. 3 months later DVD player doesn't work. Phillips service center is terrible!

3-0 out of 5 stars Philips 20" Flatscreen/DVD Combo
I received my Philips 20" TV as a service award from work. My kids enjoyed watching DVD movies on it for about one month. We also enjoyed listening to CDs. Now, after only one month of using, the DVD no longer works and I have to haul it to a service center for repair! :-(

5-0 out of 5 stars Imperssed
I'v only had this YV for about a week but I'm veary happy I got it. the reason I got this one is because Philips TVs last along time and there always ahead of the game with there tecnology.my other set is made by philips, still going strong and I hade it six years wihtout one problem.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great TV set
I'd been holding off on buying a second television set until I felt the technology I wanted had become a bit less expensive. What a pleasure it was to find a television set that not only met this criteria but offered better than expected picture and sound.

This set sounds and looks great. I easily hooked it up to a three speaker system and have been enjoying dvds, cds, etc. Again, this is a great second television; I highly recommend this product. ... Read more

This flat-screen set uses Philips's Real Flat technology, which not only looks cool compared to a conventional, bulbous screen, but also provides a very high-quality picture, partly because the screen itself simply reduces reflected ambient light. Additionally, the set's Black Matrix High Contrast Tube improves contrast by literally depositing carbon (this is inside the set, of course) on the screen between the phosphor dots. The result is a richer picture with better black tones and less picture washout. The 27RF70S also features a comb filter, which enhances resolution by removing the blurred edges between colors and reducing dot crawl, and comes with picture-in-picture, which allows you to monitor one show while watching another. An M Link remote control system is also included. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Its great
I'm very happy with the Phillips, I oscillated between that and several other flat screens, but I enjoy the features, the layout and design and the instructions are pretty straightforward.

Great picture, good sound quality from stereo speakers built in and it also has an M-link device that lets you hook up other devices and use your Phillips tv remote as a master.
I even managed to get the close caption to work in English on a DVD that was in a foreign language. I had the abiltiy to turn the captioning on and off which I liked. I'm not sure if this translation feature, was just for that DVD or if it will work with others. I'll update this to let you know. But all in all. Good value for the money. No regrets!

4-0 out of 5 stars philips 27rf70s flat screen tv
I have owned this television since christmas, and i have found it to be just as crisp and clear as my friends sony wega flat screen tv. The soundis great if you don't have a home theater setup, but beware at high volumes on the tv's speakers the screen may start to distort slighty on the edges, some may not even notice. I would say the volume has to be turned up to 50, half the volume on the television, which is very loud compared to most tv's. Other than that, this tv is a stunner for the price...

5-0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Picture
Just got this tv and so far I love it. The picture is beautiful and really crisp. Remote control is easy to use.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great picture and features for a great price.
If you want a great television with a great picture and great features but do not want to spend a lot of money, then this is the one to get. You get a flat screen that is bright and clear for hundreds less. Lots of inputs allow you to hook up many devices. The M-link feature lets you program virtually all types of remotes into one convenient remote. ... Read more

Amazon.com Product Description

This 46-inch, high-definition display is capable of producing massive, detailed HDTV signal in all its glory--that's full 1080i resolution via a digital set-top box (which is not included). Progressive-scan DVD players are also prime source components for this set, which offers display format conversion to ensure that you're seeing the image the way you want to, regardless of the source. Designed to meet the demands of curved CRT faceplates, Philips' 35-point convergence brings the accuracy of digital technology for flawless convergence of red, green, and blue electron guns and a superb picture with no colored halos.

If a video image remains stationary, it can eventually burn a permanent after-image into the screen. Automatic Phosphor Aging Compensation (APAC) periodically shifts the television picture in tiny increments that are large enough to blur image retention. Active Control performs continuous picture analysis and maintains control of Automatic Digital Noise Reduction and auto sharpness. A three-line digital comb filter provides improved chroma/luminance separation over standard two-line glass comb filters for a difference you can see.

Used in conjunction with a second video source, such as a DVD player, VCR, or cable tuner, picture-in-picture lets you monitor one TV channel while you're watching another. Virtual Dolby Surround processing circuitry gives you the sensation of four-channel Dolby Pro Logic without the hassle of installing additional rear speakers. Eye Fidelity provides a choice between two scanning techniques: progressive and interlaced. Progressive scanning doubles the number of visible picture lines per field by displaying all picture frame lines at once, eliminating line flicker. Interlaced mode reduces annoying motion artifacts and helps smooth jagged lines sometimes seen on images of curved and angled surfaces. Also, the set's protective screen filter helps prevent accidental damage to the delicate front Lenticular screen. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Exceptional HDTV and Progressive Scan DVD images
I researched RPTV's for over a year and my decision ended up coming down 2 RPTV's - the Philips 46PP9302 and the Hitachi 45F500, I looked at a number of manufacturers including Sony, JVC, RCA, Panasonic. My decision to go with the Philips was based on the extra video processing enhancments that come with this TV and the "classy" styling of this unit. As far as the picture quality goes both units provide excellent video but the Philips just seemed to provide a more stunning picture on HDTV and DVD progressive scan. The picture adjustments that can be made to tailor the picture to how "you" want it to look are seemingly endless - each input can be adjusted the way you want it. One other notable thing about the philips is the picture with satelitte - This is one of the few TV's with which the satelitte picture looks even good - and when it comes down to HDTV images it is downright amazing. One thing anyone should consider when buying a RPTV is the ability of the TV to provide some sort of screen protection from phosphor aging as I found out from my research there are some Tv's out there that have only lasted 3-4 years before the black bars wear into the screen. I have found that the 4.3 format is what I am using the most to view programming from satelitte so you get the black bars on either side of the screen so the black bar burn in could be a potential problem. The Philips auto format screen sizing is also one of the best available and not many of the RPTV's I looked at even had anything auto period! - you had to use the remote to fill the screen and the resulting picture was quite unporportional. Another deciding factor with purchasing this TV was the dealer I bought it from offerd me an additional 2 years parts and labor warranty as his comment was " We have very few problems with any of the Philips TV's we sell and that's why we offer the extra 2 years" . On the downside , (if any) this television as with most RPTVS is the viewing angle - it is very location sensitive - you need to view it sitting down and not to far off center - I have found that about 8-12 ft out and no more than 3-6 ft off center on either side is about maximum.
A highly recommemded HDTV RPTV.

5-0 out of 5 stars Out-of-box home theater--great!
Spectacular picture, spectacular sound, at least when coupled
with high-res DVDs (which is what I bought this for). EGL
delivery service is well worth the extra charge too; in my case
they got a little confused about which of their stations was
closest to me, but I live in the boonies...and they were quick
to correct the problem when I contacted them by phone.

5-0 out of 5 stars Outstanding for the price
I looked at a lot of different rear projection wide screen tv's and found this to be the best. I opened it up out of the box and it worked great. The horizontal viewing angles are good, however virticaly it is challenaged. The picture changes (dims) if you are standing up. Not bad for the money. It has awesome features and has one of the best picture qualities. I also like the sound. I give it an A+++++++++++++++++

4-0 out of 5 stars Incredible Picture
I've had the tv for 2 weeks now and I love the picture quality especially w/HDTV signals. Even the look of the tv is great because it doesn't look like a big square against you wall. I only have two complaints. 1. When watching an hdtv signal you do not have the ability to adjust the screen size (i.e. 16:9). Some hdtv stations broadcast signals on their hdtv channel that are 4:3 ratio. 2. It needs to have at least 2 HD Component inputs instead of one component and one RGB input. It's difficult finding the RGB harness at an affordabe price. This only is a problem if you are planning to watch hdtv (with hdtv receiver) and a progressive scan dvd player. Other then these two issues, this is the best tv for the money. Highly recommend purchasing.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great picture
I haven't recvd my t.v. yet, but my Dad has this same t.v.. the picture is on of the clearest I have seen. When this hooked up with a surround system. Forget about going to the movies. The movies is at your home. ... Read more

The MC13E2MG TV/VCR may be small, but it packs a ton of features. Its light weight (23 pounds) and 13-inch screen make it perfect for kitchens, bedrooms, and dorm rooms, while its front-panel audio/video input accommodates a camcorder, game console, DVD player, or second VCR quickly and easily. Automatic features include auto tracking, auto repeat, and auto head cleaner.

The VCR's ShowGuard backup memory keeps your timer/programming safe, even through power outages. If the power fails, timer recordings will be restored when the clock is reset. (The timer recording will not occur if it was scheduled to take place during the power failure.)

Meanwhile, auto clock set with time-zone adjustment sets itself to the correct time from a user-approved channel carrying a time signal. Daylight-savings time adjustment automatically compensates for daylight savings time in early April and late October, so you don't have to reset the clock twice a year.

When tape playback begins, auto tracking seeks the optimum video and audio tracking positions for the clearest picture and sound. With automatic channel setup, the VCR tuner scans through television frequencies, automatically storing active broadcast channels into memory. Then, only channels programmed into memory are tuned using the channel up/down buttons on either the remote or front panel. Automatic channel preset can be repeated whenever desired, and you can always add or delete channels manually.

Other features include closed-captioning, bilingual (English/Spanish) onscreen display, a sleep/wake timer, amonaural earphone jack for private listening, repeat play, quasi-S-VHS performance (lets you play S-VHS tapes at standard VHS resolution), and forward/reverse search.

Amazon.com Product Description

This high-tech, feature-packed 27-inch set from Philips turns a living room or studio apartment into a home theater, whether you're video source is a VCR, cable box, satellite receiver, or DVD player. The set's Real Flat invar picture tube minimizes unwanted reflections and provides a wide viewing angle so everyone in the family can enjoy its vivid, high-contrast images. Its special alloy invar shadow mask delivers a sharper picture with purer colors and brighter whites than do standard television tubes.

Double-window, two-tuner PIP lets you watch two programs side-by-side, even without a VCR. Two separate tuners (each with its own RF antenna input on the set's back panel) select two shows and display both in windows of equal proportion, or you can watch one show in one window while scanning channels in the other. The set also offers GUIDE Plus+ GOLD programming, a convenient, easy-to-use, and subscription-free interactive service that provides instant summaries of favorite shows at the touch of a button. It sorts information by category (sports, movies, etc.) and offers both point-and-tune and point-and-record functions (when used in conjunction with a VCR). Other video technologies include Improved Image Definition (IID), video DNR (dynamic noise reduction), AutoPicture, black stretch, blue stretch, green stretch, and three-position color-temperature control.

The set features stereo five-inch speakers and a dedicated, 10-watt subwoofer. AutoSound Plus technology offers four factory settings (movies, music, voice, or personal), each with a variety of combinations of ultra bass, treble, and automatic volume leveling to suit any taste. A pair of clip-type speaker terminals on the back panel let you hook up surround speakers for more enveloping sound, and Incredible Surround employs psychoacoustic methods to widen the perceived stereo spatial image for full-impact home entertainment--especially helpful if you're not using surround speakers.

The included M-Link system remote "learns" and controls up to five input devices (such as DVD, VCR, cable box, satellite system, etc.) and one output device (such as an audio amplifier or receiver). An easy-to-use onscreen display and macros launch your full system with the press of one button.

5-0 out of 5 stars One additional comment!!!
in addition to my previous review!! one word of warning. if you sit close to tv and have volume at low levels there is an audible buzz i assume comes from the amplifier. i am about 8 feet away and it is no problem because volume is up enough to not notice. but if your set up or viewing preference is close to tv and low volume levels it could be annoying!! still rating this unit high because i have no issue here but you may.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent TV , Shop for price!!
Picture is absolutely brilliant. Sound is very good for a 27" TV with plenty of bass. Although i am adjusting sound for different sources often. Remote is excellent for TV operation but the whole M-link thing is a bit of overkill. Would be better if it was simply a learning remote to control other equipment(at least for my bedroom use). Plenty of hookup options 1 component video , 2 s-video , 3 rca jack inputs (a/v) , monitor output (a/v) and a single headphone out. Have my Xbox hooked up by component and is incredible for gaming and dvds! Also has rear simulated surround speaker jacks which i haven't used yet but plan to. Guide plus is very nice to have especially with cable that has no interactive guide. PIP is the best i've used with 2 tuners and a full split screen option. Has several nice small features such as on/off timer (can be used as alarm clock!). Overall look of TV is impressive. It is a little larger than many 27's but the look is worth the extra space. Also a bit front end heavy due to glass flat screen but no big deal if you have a sturdy stand. Be sure and shop this one , plenty of great deals out there! I picked one up ... new in box with full factory warranty!! At that price what's not to love? ... Read more

Amazon.com Product Description

Philips' commanding, 32-inch 32PT6441 uses a RealFlat picture tube for high-contrast, reflection-free pictures with no curvature, edge to edge. It's also loaded with terrific features and convenient connections. A hallmark of the set, its QuadraSurf remote control lets you personalize and customize your channel surfing and TV viewing by family member or program theme.

Active Control Plus continuously analyzes incoming signals and optimizes picture color, sharpness, contrast, and digital noise reduction 50 times per second. Further refining an already stellar image is the 32PT6441's two-line digital comb filter removes blurred edges between colors and reduces dot crawl (tiny, moving dots of color along a sharp color separation in a vertical line, as in a depiction of a character's striped T-shirt).

A component-video input grants optimum connection with a compatible DVD player, while standard composite- and S-video inputs accommodate most other audio/video gear, from DVD players to satellite receivers, digital video recorders, video game consoles, cable boxes, and VCRs. You can choose between rear AV inputs and a set of side AV inputs for spontaneous hookups, including a side-panel headphone jack for private listening.

Other 32PT6441 features include a sleep and event timer, AutoPicture (which optimizes brightness, contrast, color, tint, and sharpness), and AutoSound (which lets you select settings for voice, music, movies, or custom). Incredible Surround simulates surround sound from the set's two speakers, while bass and treble controls let you adjust the sound to your taste.

The 32PT6441 is a factory reconditioned product, meaning it was returned to the manufacturer and restored to like-new condition. The product comes with a 90-day warranty on parts and labor.

1-0 out of 5 stars Beware of allPT6441s
We recently purchased a smaller version of this TV--a new one.Same problem, within 5 months, the power died, and the repair bill will be $150, if it is worth fixing. We certainly aren't going to bother ...

1-0 out of 5 stars Dead on arrival - no fix date in sight
Junk.Unpacked, plugged in, turned on, worked for about 5 hours and then dead - nothing.Called Philips, told me I needed it serviced. They won't take it back because it was Factory Renewed. The nearest authorized service center is 45 miles away - the service center won't pick it up since they have had a hard time getting mileage reimbursed from Philips. It's been sitting in his shop waiting for parts for almost two months.Philips is out of stock for the needed part - it appears a lot of these sets are having the same problem - all sizes. The authorized dealer had a stack of Philips TV's waiting for this part.My warranty will be expired before I even get my TV back.I would not buy this Philips TV again! ... Amazon.com Product Description

Philips' gargantuan, 55-inch 55PP9910 is equipped to receive and display the latest high-definition broadcast programming with clarity and vivid color, right out of the box via its onboard ATSC/QAM tuner (though you may need a terrestrial antenna for proper HDTV reception). The set is fully compatible with DTV set-top boxes, too, with a direct-digital HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface), a pair of switchable HD/SD (standard-definition) component-video inputs, and 2 PC inputs.

The set offers a widescreen (16:9) aspect-ratio and delivers 1080i high-definition signals at full resolution and, in fact, renders all input sources--480i, 480p, 720p, and 1080i--at 1080i resolution through onboard upconversion technology.

Optimized for dual home theater/personal computing use, the 55PP9910 is what's known as an iHDTV, for interactive HDTV. Interactive television merges traditional television with the interactivity of the Internet, making TV viewing a richer and more engaging experience with applicable channels. To that end, the set's enhanced, DSURF remote control grants "digital-only" channel tuning, passing over SD channels for times when you want to focus exclusively on true high-definition programming.

The set uses Philips HD Optics with cutting-edge processing and display technology. Philips HD Optics covers the 55PP9910's wideband video amplifier, microphosphor CRTs, hybrid projection lenses, a first-surface mirror, and a fine-pitched, high-contrast lenticular screen. Also on hand is APAC (Automatic Phosphor Aging Compensation), a Philips technology that automatically shifts your television picture in very small increments to defray the chances of permanent image burn-in or etching.

You get single-tuner, side-by-side PIP (picture-in-picture) from any source, meaning you can view a DVD image over an HDTV signal (or vice-versa) as well as a VHS signal over an SD TV show, depending on what you have plugged into the set--your choice.

Connections include the above-mentioned HDMI (which is 100-percent DVI-compatible, in case you're already using a DTV set-top box outfitted with a Digital Visual Interface) and 2 HD/SD component-video inputs, 2 PC inputs (1 D-Sub 15-pin, 1 RGB+H/V), 3 each composite- and S-video terminals, and 2 RF coaxial inputs (1 for antenna and 1 for a second antenna, an older VCR, or a cable box).

A coaxial digital-audio output passes Dolby Digital 5.1-channel surround signals to a compatible AV receiver and multichannel speaker system so you can enjoy powerful, enveloping surround sound from your free, over-air HDTV broadcast reception. There's also a set of stereo analog (left/right) RCA outputs for use with AV receiver and integrated amplifiers, and for stereo listening the set will fold down Dolby Digital signals to 2 channels.

If you're not set up for multichannel surround listening, the set offers a choice of Dolby Virtual Surround and Incredible Surround to simulate surround sound from any 2 speakers, including those featured in the 55PP9910. The TV's 10 watts-per-channel internal amplifier gives you strong, clear sound, while auto volume leveling minimizes dramatic swings in listening level, a nice feature for nighttime viewing.

5-0 out of 5 stars Indulge yourself...
Bottom line: It's a terrific TV!

VERY good size and picture-quality for the money. Best of all it is totally flat. We've had it for over a month and now most other normal CRT TV's we watch seem positively tiny in comparison!
When it was right next to a giant panasonic rear-projection TV in this store [worth twice as much], the picture of the philips seemed crisper and less jittery.

You can adjust the colour convergence at different points on the screen, if the red/blue beams are out of alignment (due to a different magnetic field in your house than at the factory). The only gripe I have is that the mute button on the remote control is too small.

The benefits of rear-projection over plasma TVs are as follows:
(read this if you're still in doubt)

People get scared off of rear-projection TV's because they get "muddy" at different viewing angles. However, in recent years, they have become vastly superior to the old ones in this respect. Don't allow some sales git to sell you a plasma screen, merely because it has a wider viewing angle! Who watches TV at an angle of over 45degrees from the center? If you're spending a fair bit of money on a telly, you're NOT going to stand at this oblique angle watching your favourite show, are you? Not with ANY set. Let me dispel a myth: with this set, you /can/ see the picture no matter what angle you're standing at, albeit at slightly reduced contrast beyond about 45 degrees. It's not as if it totally blanks out or anything past this point - which is handy if you're getting a snack from an adjoining room and don't want to miss anything.

A decent rear-projection set has a HIGHER resolution than some of the cheap plasma screens. I don't even think the cheaper brands bother making rear-projection TV's.
Plasma TV's also suffer from pixel drop-out, which means that a few pixels can sometimes become permanently switched on or off. This might not come under the warranty if there is less than a certain number of them, so if the thought of putting up with this bothers you, don't buy a plasma! Also the price of this philips set is, what, about a quarter of what a plasma costs? At that price, plasma's just not worth considering.

Remember though: DON'T buy a set without at least looking at the picture quality. It's amazing how much they vary.

WIDESCREEN?
We thought about getting a dedicated widescreen (16:9) television, but then if you're watching standard TV 4:3 format, the extra width (which you're paying a premium for) becomes black bars at the sides of your screen. Not good. So the picture you're now watching reverts to the equivalent size as what a TV approximately *half* the cost would have given you.

On the other hand, if you happen to be watching a 16:9 widescreen image on THIS philips 109cm (43") TV, you get black bars at the top and bottom, sure, but it is still now equivalent to a 100cm (39") television!!! WOW. In other words, because of its huge size you won't even care if there are black bars displayed - there is that much screen size to play with! For the price you simply can't do any better - you're laughing!

SIZE:
One last thing, I've also seen *normal* CRT TV's, faaar smaller than this one - but costing twice as much!! If you're still considering anything else, then consider this: SIZE DOES MATTER! Unless of course you've got a small to average sized room, in which case a big TV like this will dwarf everything else in it. Having said that, for the size this one does have a small footprint- the TV is not very deep at all (look at the specifications) so it won't stick out much from the wall. Plus it isn't any wider than it has to be.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best Projection TV I Have Seen And Heard!
For a while, I was hesitant in owning a projection TV. The reason was, the pictures were not clear, crisp and sharp. This one has proven to be the exception! It is from the first time I saw it in a store.

It has a clear, crisp, sharp hi-fi dbx stereo sound to match. It has several convenient features I use, including its P.I.P. I can not get all the local channels on satellite. So, having a separate antenna connected, I can watch the local programs and satellite simultaneously. And I can swap on the remote between which is on the main picture and which is in one of the corners.

It has a lot of convenient, easy-to-use features, as well as enough connections. It is one rear projection TV I highly recommend to everyone!

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best Projection TV I Have Seen And Heard!
I checked over the years a number of projection TV's. Overall, this is the best one I have seen and heard!

I have been impressed by its clear, sharp, life-like picture and equally sharp, clear dbx hi-fi stereo sound. And I love how all this and more are packed into this excellent overall 43" projection TV!

It has separate bass and treble adjusters and bass boost, as well as several ways to finely adjust both its audio and video.

It is equipped with 3 sets of a/v inputs(2 rear, 1 side), 2 S-video inputs(1 rear, 1 side), 1 rear set of a/v output jacks and one side headphone jack, as well as a dual-tuner picture-in-picture. And it comes with a universal remote.

It has several other features that are convenient and easy to use. It includes its sleep timer and clock that can either be set manually or set automatically through a PBS station it is tuned into when using either cable or an antenna.

Overall, it is the best projection TV to the present I have seen and heard and highly recommend.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Television
I own this TV, and I'd have to say that it is simply amazing. While lacking some of the whistles and bells of other projection TV's, I've never seen a tv that does a better job for it's money. The picture and sound are good. I would definitely reccommend this projection television if you are not wantng to spend a lot of money for a projection model. ... Read more
