Amazon.com Product Description

Now you can view your movies, TV, and personal computing on an epic scale. Philips' 60PP9363H Epic Series high-definition projection television offers compatibility with progressive-scanned 480p and full high-definition 1080i video signals, all of which benefit from the set's wealth of picture-enhancing technologies. Designed to meet the demands of curved CRT faceplates, Philips' 35-point convergence brings with it the accuracy of digital technology for flawless convergence of red, green, and blue electron guns and a superb picture with no colored haloes.

If a video image remains stationary, it can eventually burn a permanent after-image into the screen. Automatic Phosphor Aging Compensation (APAC) periodically shifts your television picture in increments that are tiny, but still large enough to blur image retention. Active Control performs continuous picture analysis and maintains control of Automatic Digital Noise Reduction and auto sharpness. A 3-line digital comb filter gives you Improved chroma/luminance separation over standard 2-line glass comb filters for a difference you can really see.

EyeFidelity gives you a choice between two different scanning techniques: progressive and interlaced scanning. Progressive scanning doubles the number of visible picture lines per field by displaying all picture frame lines at once, eliminating line flicker. Interlaced mode reduces annoying motion artifacts and helps smooth jagged lines sometimes seen on images of curved and angled surfaces.

The set's dual-tuner picture-in-picture lets you monitor one TV channel while simultaneously watching another. Its 10-watts-per-channel sound system offers both Virtual Dolby Surround and Incredible Surround, processing circuitry that produces the sensation of surround sound without the hassle of installing additional rear speakers. The set uses large, 4 x 6-inch stereo speakers and also features an auto volume limiter to minimize drastic level changes between, say, a TV program and its commercials.

Connections include 3 each composite- and S-video inputs, 1 HD component-video inputs, 1 high-definition PC input (RGB+H/V component-video), and a DVI-HDTV direct-digital input for use with a compatible DTV set-top box or other DVI device. A set of audio/video outputs lets you integrate the set with your stereo or surround receiver, and a set of side-mounted AV inputs simplifies hookup of a camcorder, gaming console, or VCR.

The 60PP9363H's protective screen filter helps prevent accidental damage to the delicate front lenticular screen.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Replacement Keyboard
Almost thought the webtv would be thrown over the fence after contacting Sony and ascertaining that Sony no longer has replacement keyboards. This unit is actually better than the original; a bit larger and with convenient thumb indentations for ease in holding the keyboard. Price was actually less than the previous board purchased through Sears. Alas, the purchase of a Dell shall have to wait.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Customer Service
I ordered this keyboard as a gift to my mother, but due to shipping problems, I needed to track the order down with Web TV the provider for Amazon. Not only did they answer me within minutes, they immediately sent out a replacement until they could resend the original order. The two guys who helped me were Matt and Dave in Customer service. They were fast and polite. Within a couple of days my mother received the temp keyboard, with a beautiful note and a follow up of the original ordered keyboard projected delivery date. The Web TV customer service is OUTSTANDING! They are the example all companies should follow :)

3-0 out of 5 stars SONY W250 Degrades with Time
I purchased Both the set top box & the wireless keyboard 3 Yrs. ago & worked very good;BUT, it is Degrading. Keys stick & set top Box is Failing. I tried to reach Sony but to No Avail.!! I can't seem to find Any Sony W-250 units. I would like to know if they still make them?? The ONLY set top box I can find is that New MSN-TV which the keyboard is 1/2 the size! This may push me into Finally Buying a computer!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Webtv is the best.
And this keyboard does it all. I have the Magnavox version of the same keyboard. It works with webtv classic or webtv plus. I can flip the screen to go back to the tv program or move my pip around the screen while I am surfing the net or adding pictures to my web pages. I don't know how people put up with computers. There are no pop up ads with webtv and virtually no maintanance because all upgrades are free. I use a phillips keyboard and remote with my sony webtv plus unit with no problem. Also controls the volume and power of my tv. You can buy the newer version of this phillips keyboard from me. And it comes with a 90 day warranty.Happy surfing.

4-0 out of 5 stars late to the gate... artist
although, many of my friends are big in the electronic industry, I have resisted being "taken in." I was the same with cable TV... now many of my favorite shows are on cable-only networks. Feeling I was missing a major resource, I finally accepted a WebTV from a friend. I am a big fan of the TV remote (am I alone?)... and love the wireless keyboard- though it tends to skip letters when I type too fast. Still, its like a super remote, and its been a very painless way for me to become familiar with the internet. I am on this site to see about purchasing one for my mother for Xmas- even more stubborn than me. Cross your fingers. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Crazy stuff mine went out 2
And after the warrenty i had to pay 70 more dollars to get it fixed. It started making a chirping noice when it was plugged in and had no picture, Just the chirping. VERY BADD TELEVISION.

1-0 out of 5 stars Never buy this TV
Great picture. Lousy TV. Mine quit working after 4 months. Conveniently 1 month after the full-coverage warranty. If you've read the other reviews you know to stay away from this and any Philips TV.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best 27" Standard TV
After looking over about 30 TVs in the 22" - 30" range in Best Buy, the choice was clear. This Philips TV has by far the sharpest image and the most vibrant color of any standard TV in the 27" range. The quadrasurf feature is great too - it lets you assign your favorite channels to programmable buttons so you can hop between channels with a single click. The quality of the set and its construction are very high, it has survived two moves without any problems. It has lots of connection options, even a headphone output on the side. I can't recommend this set highly enough. When the time comes to get a larger set, I'm definitely getting another Philips.

3-0 out of 5 stars High Pitched Noise
I bought an older model of this TV about 3 years ago, and I also have had problems with the high pitched noise it gives off. It's incredibly annoying and distracting when you're trying to watch a good show. The sound is of course most noticable when the volume is lower. I wouldn't buy another Phillips. Pay a little more money for a better brand!

3-0 out of 5 stars nice tv but horrible high pitched noise/ reflective screen
We bought this tv after our 20 yr old one quit. We were so excited to get a new one, did lots of research, and got this one at Best Buy. Compared to the Toshiba, which I really wanted, this had superior picture quality and sound. We got the set home, set it up, and almost immediately, this high-pitched noise comes from the back of the tv, and boy is it annoying! I called the company, who, after I convinced the noise was heard at least 10 feet away, (and over shows) recommended a local tv repair shop. I am so very disappointed with this noise. The only other complaint I have about it is the mirror-like screen - you can see nearly everything reflected back from the tv monitor, so we have to turn out some lights to be able to see the picture more clearly. Great tv otherwise. ... Read more

Try Philips' silver, 27-inch 27PT5441, whose picture enhancements and suite of audio/video connections make for a true "must-see" TV. You can choose between rear AV inputs and a set of side AV inputs for spontaneous hookups, including a side-panel headphone jack for private listening.

Other 27PT5441 features include a sleep and event timer, AutoPicture (which optimizes brightness, contrast, color, tint, and sharpness), and AutoSound (which lets you select settings for voice, music, movies, or custom). 5-0 out of 5 stars Replacement WebTV Keyboard
Very pleased with the service, speed of delivery, and so far the quality of my new WebTV keyboard! The old keyboard only used one AAA battery; this one uses FOUR AA batteries, so speed is noticeably faster. Also appreciative of all the informative e-mails that came to me, both from Amazon and from the seller, NW ITV Dealers.

3-0 out of 5 stars Connects OK; but typing is difficult
This Keyboard and its individual keys is/are too narrow to type
efficiently.
This results in your making many typing errors to go back over ( such as 'tanks' for 'thanks',etc.
On the other hand; it does connect to the receivor pretty good as long as you have an unobstructed view and they are on the same level.

The Keyboard needs to be revised badly before it can rate 5 or more stars!

5-0 out of 5 stars From Ms. No More Sticky Keys!!
This keyboard is all that the seller said it is. I can write and write and never have to worry about another sticky or completely stuck key. I'm satisfied!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Wireless Keyboard for WebTV
The product was shipped in its original box. The keyboard is in good condition (wrapped in bubble wrap) and even included batteries. Also contained instructions.

5-0 out of 5 stars MWK 350BK is the one I'm rating.
This keyboard is the newer version of the one listed. It is more modern with rounded edges and more shortcut keys such as pip and pip loc. I love my webtv plus. ... Read more

Amazon.com Product Description

The Philips 30PW6341 widescreen TV is specially formatted to match as closely as possible the original aspect ratio of your favorite movies. Its RealFlat picture tube increases viable viewing angles and reduces reflected ambient light to create a brighter and crisper image, while its 2-line digital comb filter removes blurred edges between colors and reduces dot crawl (tiny, moving dots of color along a sharp color separation in a vertical line, as in a depiction of a character's striped T-shirt).

ActiveControl Plus+, enhanced with Digital Color Transient Improvement (CTI), Luminance Transient Improvement (LTI), and an ambient-light sensor, continuously analyzes and adjusts noise, sharpness, brightness, contrast, and color to give you the best picture in any lighting environment and condition.

A hallmark of the set, Philips' QuadraSurf remote control, lets you customize your channel surfing and TV viewing by family member or program theme. Simply use each of the 4 colored surf buttons to view up to 10 of your favorite programs by category--that's 40 total movie, sports, news, music, children's, or other programs--or by family member.

A component-video input grants optimum connection with a compatible DVD player, while standard composite- and S-video inputs accommodate all DVD players. You can choose between a set of rear AV inputs and a set of side AV inputs for extra convenience when hooking up a camcorder or gaming console. A rear AV output lets you hook the set up with a surround receiver.

The set features built-in stereo speakers powered by 10 watts per channel (x 2). AutoSound lets you select settings for voice, music, movies, or custom, while Dolby Virtual Surround simulates surround sound from the set's 2 speakers. A side-panel headphone jack affords private listening (headphones not included).

Other 30PW6341 features include a sleep timer, an event timer, a trilingual onscreen display (English, Spanish, French), closed-caption display, and V-Chip parental control.

Amazon.com Product Description

The 30PW850H's 30-inch Real Flat, high-definition widescreen picture tube affords today's best home cinema viewing when used with a progressive-scan DVD player or an outboard digital set-top box for DTV reception. Picture enhancements include a sophisticated 3D Y/C digital comb filter, which improves quality of incoming interlaced video signals by removing blurred edges between colors and reducing dot crawl (tiny, moving dots of color along a sharp color separation in a vertical line, as in a depiction of a character's striped t-shirt).

Eye Fidelity provides the choice between different line doubling and scanning techniques--progressive or interlaced--so you can reduce motion artifacts like jagged edges and stair stepping, viewing material in progressive scan (480p) or a line doubled (1050i) picture.

Velocity-scan modulation improves the definition at picture edges, creating sharper images by slowing the CRT (cathode-ray tube) beam's horizontal scanning during demanding work--say, when rendering transitions from light to dark parts of an image--and speeding it up when scanning easily rendered sections, like broad dark areas.

A shadow mask is a thin sheet of perforated metal behind the screen that restricts electron flow, each hole in the sheet corresponding to a single pixel. An Invar mask uses an alloy that's especially resistant to the high temperatures generated by the electron beam, allowing in a brighter, clearer picture. Further, a feature called Active Control continuously analyzes incoming signals and optimizes picture color, sharpness, contrast, and digital noise reduction 60 times per second.

The set offers stereo reception with 10 watts power per stereo speaker, and onboard Incredible Surround processing simulates surround sound from any two speakers.

Two sets of high-definition component-video inputs (1080i/480p) accommodate a set-top box/HD satellite receiver and a progressive-scan DVD player, while side and rear composite- and S-video inputs accommodate other hardware. Rear-panel audio/video outputs make it a cinch to hook the set up with your home theater surround receiver for a truly immersive AV experience. A 0.125-inch headphone jack lets you listen in private. The set includes an NTSC tuner for standard TV reception and comes with a universal remote control.

4-0 out of 5 stars A good widescreen HDTV for the price
I bought the Philips 30PW850H 30" Widescreen HD-Ready TV from Costco for $799 (a real bargain, especially with Costco's lifetime return policy.) I needed to replace a large older analog projection TV that was taking up too much space in my family room, and wanted to move to a smaller widescreen HDTV. The Philips Widescreen has not disappointed me. The digital picture from DirectTV is very crisp (I'm currently using s-video connection as I don't yet have an HD satellite receiver.) From a progressive scan DVD the picture is beautiful and near-HD as you would expect. The set has two component inputs and two s-video inputs (one in the back and one on the side.) My wife likes to watch the local channels, so I tried to prepare her for what I thought would be relatively poor picture quality on these over-the-air broadcasts. However, broadcast TV looks great on this set as well - apparently the "Eye-Fidelity" system helps upgrade the analog picture. There are no visible lines nor is there the grainy appearance I had expected to see. The widescreen formats are easy to switch between using the remote. The set is attractive and has a small footprint. If you are looking for a widescreen HD monitor that doesn't dominate a room and you want to stay under $1000 in price, this may well be the TV for you.

1-0 out of 5 stars trying to sell it
extrememly dissapointed. bought the 30" phillips widescreen hdtv because it sounded like a good price. I won't buy for price vs. quality again. The whites are very yellow and it actually reminds me of an old tv where the tube is getting worn out. my old sony flat screen has better color actually and the phillips is very hard to adjust the tints. I'm selling it for a loss and will buy another hdtv from a different manufacturer.

2-0 out of 5 stars product decent, but pray you don't need customer service
In an almost identical manner to another reviewer, 6 months after purchase the color went out on all inputs except the hdtv. Customer service (people in India pretending to be in the US by giving you an American name) were totally clueless. After several calls, they refer me to a local authorized repair center. Since it was out of warranty for labor, that meant $200 for me. The part, cost $700 but was covered under warranty. $65 so that I didn't have to haul the set to the repar place. It has taken 3 service visits and 1 month and the set isn't fixed yet. Adecent (not great) set when its working, but this experience will keep me from buying another Philips / Magnavox product again.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good but some questionable options
i like this tv. It looks really nice and is awesome when watching dvds. The only problem is that it has some questionable viewing options left out. Unless you watch a widescreen movie in 4:3, there is no way to have the movie fill the whole screen without part of the sides being cut off. This is just Ludacris. IT should show the image to the end of the dvd on each side and then fill the screen as much as it can, with no sretching just showing the original aspect ratio. Doesn't that bug others that u are always losing video. The widescreen option on that tv is like watching widescreen on a 4:3. The only somewhat exceptable mode is subtitle zoom.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great buy, stunning HDTV!
When my old 27" bit the dust, I wanted something that would not be obsolete in 2006..7 whenever we get rid of the analog signal. I figured the HDTV is the way to go. After looking at the SONY and Panasonic (I'm a big fan of Panasonic), I went with this Phillips really because it was not as deep as the others, and it had to go in a rather shallow armoire. Despite the fact I do not have digital cable where I live, the reception is better than average for regular tv. The screen comes to life though when you throw in a DVD, you get to really see what it can do, the sound from the tv is excellent, you can set it to a psuedo-surround sound if you want. Remote is simple to use, and I really like the wide screen format (it has a variety of settings to cope with the standard 3:4 signal). The only drawbacks are that some of the connectors are difficult to access which is further compounded by the fact that the thing weighs a ton. I also prefer the black cases over the "shinny" silver cases common today - movies are better viewed against a black frame. But the shear number of features, crisp picture, and really reasonable price make this set a great buy. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars A waste of money
I had this unit for just over one year. During that time, it malfunctioned five or six times. Each time I contacted their customer support(over 20 min.average to get someone on the line),
they had to reprogram the unit. Shortly after the warranty had expired, the reciever shut down completely. The customer service rep. told me that since the warranty had expired, I would have to send the unit to their repair facility along with a check ... to repair the reciever. Needless to say, I put the unit where it belonged... in the trash.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best 32" Flat Screen Between HDTV'S and High Fidelity TV's
I checked this and other manufacturers' 32" flat screen high fidelity stereo TV's and HDTV's in stores, on manufacturers' web sites and other web sites, including but not limited to this site. I was the most impressed with this one. It is why I bought it.

What stood out the most to me and still do are its clear, sharp life-like picture and sound. Both surprisingly stand out to me yet even more than 32" HDTV's I checked, whether made by Philips or another manufacturer. It is especially the high fidelity stereo sound, which has a richer, fuller sound than the HDTV's I've checked so far!

Another feature that I like is how it has audio-video input jacks on the side instead of the front, since a camcorder or video game connected to it would also be off to the side instead of blocking the screen.

I love its flat screen over the round ones, as well as its black matrix picture tube which helps keep out ambient light and digital comb filter, which help to give it both a truer 3D picture and more of a feeling I get when going to a movie theater with its flat screen instead of the old round screen.

I also like how much more solid its silver cabinet is over the old plastic and wooden ones. It will not crack like a plastic one. And it will not chip or scratch like a wooden one.

It has too many features for me to even begin to cover in this review. And I noticed amazon.com does a very good job at that.

Also, what has turned out to be interesting is, while I have read negative reviews other manufacturers' 32" high fidelity stereo TV's and HDTV's on this site and others, I have only read positive reviews on this one. Based on those and everything else I have covered, I highly recommend this TV to everyone! ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Nice TV, but not the best
TV has no inputs for a center channel so one must be set on top. My first unit had a black spot on the screen, I couldn't find anyone to do warranty work for Philips (neither could they). After 7 weeks of calls, emails, waiting on parts, and finally a complaint against Philips to the Better Business Bureau and a credit card dispute. The store I purchased the unit from agreed to exchange it for me.

Make sure there are no flaws in yours before you get it home, it is a pain to get someone to do anything for you after that. Philips made no efforts whatsoever to get this matter resolved, I had to call each repair center myself.

The Ultravision (Hitachi) seemed to have a better picture.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great TV _ Even Better Price
This is a great TV for those who desire size & and good picture. The screen is squarer than the more popular "widescreen TVs" showing picture in the standard TV 4:3 aspect ratio. However with such a large 60" screen when watching movies that have been formatted in the 16:9 aspect ratio (widescreen) you will receive the widescreen picture with top and bottom letterbox bars (black bars) in screen size of 55"! It has 4 AV output (3 back , 1 side). To top it off it was a great price! My husband loves watching the football games on it and I love watching CSI. Great Picture _ Great Deal _ Get the TV the whole family will love it!

4-0 out of 5 stars Great picture for the price, easy to use, only 1 HD tuner
This TV is huge and is great for anyone that wants a big screen TV with standard 4:3 aspect, but still show a large 16:9 widescreen display for under $2K. The widescreen is 55"! It is beautiful as my wife has said. I recommend this TV for anyone that is on budget, not that this TV is cheap. The size and picture are absolutely stunning. I've only had minor issues with this product. The single HD tuner required me to purchase an HDTV swither so that I could play 480p (progressive scan) DVD's and also hook up my HD cable TV box. I bought the MadCatz HDTV swither for $20. Works great. The HD tuner cannot understand analog or 480i signals. I don't know if this is normal, but being a newbie at this stuff, it took me a while to figure out the right configuration for all of my hardware. The TV comes with a protective screen which has already paid off since my kids have written on it with pens and also scratched it within the first 2 weeks of ownership. Also, closed captioning is not an option under HD mode, unless you switch it on "manually" through the cable box or subtitles on the DVD player. I couldn't figure out how to turn it off until a service guy came out and figured the problem. The manual omitted that you cannot control it through AV-4 (HD mode). Customer Service was responsive when I contacted them regarding the closed captioning issue. My Playstation 2 is also fun to play on this set. ... Read more

Amazon.com Product Description

Revel in the beauty of high-definition imagery with the 34PW8402 34-inch RealFlat television from Philips. With its 16:9 aspect ratio, your widescreen DVD movies and HDTV television programming (from a DTV receiver, sold separately) will match their original dimensions. The 34PW8402's RealFlat tube provides reflection- and distortion-free pictures for maximum viewing comfort, while the DAF (Dynamic Astigmatic Focus) CRT gun ensures reliably excellent quality.

The set offers numerous image enhancements. Crystal Clear III encompasses velocity-scan modulation anda 2D Y/C digital comb filter, which improves quality of incoming interlaced video signals by removing blurred edges between colors and reducing dot crawl (tiny, moving dots of color along a sharp color separation in a vertical line, as in a depiction of a character's striped T-shirt).

EyeFidelity (480p/1050i) brings interlaced sources like VCRs and non-progressive-scanning DVD players into the digital realm, giving you a choice between different line doubling and scanning techniques, progressive or interlaced, to reduce motion artifacts like jagged edges and stair stepping. A feature called Active Control 2 continuously analyzes incoming signals and optimizes picture color, sharpness, contrast, and digital noise reduction 60 times per second.

HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is a lossless, uncompressed, all-digital audio/video interface to link the set with any audio/video source (such as a set-top box, DVD player, or AV receiver). HDMI supports standard-definition (SD), enhanced definition (ED), or high-definition (HD) video, plus multi-channel digital audio--all using a single cable. It transmits all ATSC HDTV standards and supports up to 8-channel digital audio, with bandwidth to spare to accommodate future enhancements and requirements.

Five audio/video connections accommodate composite-video, S-video, and high-definition component-video (480p/1080i), with one set of composite-video-based AV inputs for feeding a DVR, VCR, or surround receiver. A set of side AV inputs (composite- and S-video) simplify spontaneous hookups with camcorders, gaming consoles, and other devices.

The set pumps 10 watts RMS per channel into its twin speakers. If you're not using a surround speaker system at home, the set's Virtual Dolby Surround will simulate surround sound from any 2 speakers. A .125-inch headphone jack lets you listen in private.

Amazon.com Product Description

The 32-inch flat-tube TV from Philips offers active picture enhancement and sound adjustment along with the best types of connections for high-resolution input such as DVD players and surround-compatible sound output for a great television experience.

Beyond its flat screen, which helps reduce room glare, the 32PT563S features a number of visual enhancements. Active Control optimizes noise and sharpness settings every time you change the channel or select a new video input source, while dynamic noise reduction improves the quality of weaker signals by reducing graininess. A three-line digital comb filter separates color and brightness information for separate processing to increase clarity and reduce distortion in the final image, and three color-temperature settings let you personalize the color settings to your tonal preference.

Four more automatic settings--AutoPicture, AutoSound, AutoMute, and AutoLock--add quality and convenience. AutoPicture allows you to customize how the 32PT563S optimizes the brightness, contrast, color, tint, and sharpness settings using four presets: movies, sports, video games, and weak signal reception. AutoSound adjusts volume levels automatically in keeping with one of its four presets: movies, voice, music, or a customizable setting. AutoMute cleverly activates Closed Captioning display whenever you mute the sound, while AutoLock activates V-chip-based parental controls to keep kids from watching what they shouldn’t.

The included QuadraSurf universal remote control not only controls the TV, but also virtually all brands of VCRs, DVD players, and digital broadcast satellite receivers. Four sets of 10 customizable buttons, which can be assigned to four themes or four family members, take you directly to up to 40 TV programs.

The stereo sound system features two built-in speakers with Incredible Surround (which creates a wider, deeper-feeling listening area), and support for connecting an external audio system, such as a home theater audio system with surround sound.

The 32PT563S offers the best possible connections for high-resolution input--component video for connecting such things as a DVD player, S-video for other high-quality connections--as well as composite video in/out and an RF connection. The TV features RCA audio and video inputs and outputs on the back of the set and additional A/V inputs and a headphone jack on the side, for easy connection of camcorders, digital cameras, and game consoles.

1-0 out of 5 stars Warrenty and customer service not upto par.
When it worked it was fine. But when it comes to use the warrenty you are up sh** creek. I had this TV for less then a month and the tube went out. I called customer service and that's where the nightmare started. I could not understand the Indian staff but it will take over a month to fix his TV. It would have been cheaper to send me a new one (even the repair man said that)$200 for a new tube plus $60 hr labor for 5hrs, which includes field diagnose then pick up and return then the for the total cost of $540. The tv is only worth 3
$350 at best buy. Plus you dont have a tv for a month.

Going back to Sony!!!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars VERY GOOD PICTURE
Ive been very happy with my 563S t.v. Although its not high def. I still have a fantastic picture thru my "s" video connection. Colors are bright and well seperated and the 32' screen is just right for my room. It has composite, "s" viedo and componet conections for dvd and such. It also has front a.v. inputs for games or a camcorder. The internal menu can be adjusted to quite a few settings and the t.v. has four pre-set modes for certin things like movies or sports. Although its sound settings can be adjusted. I recomend playing movies and such through your home theater. I have digital cable and the picture is just so clear I really cant belive it. The remote is just a standard deal it controls two other devices. The design of the screen gives you the feeling that the screen is flat, especially when viewing staight on. Quite a nice analog set.
