Amazon.com Product Description

Toshiba's SD-P1200 is not only portable, but durable, fashioned with a rubberized, "sure grip" design made for travel. The player features a broad, 7-inch widescreen (16:9) active-matrix LCD and a built-in rechargeable battery (good for about 3.5 hours between charges). It handles DVD-Video and DVD-R playback as well as both standard and recordable CDs, including MP3 and JPEG-encoded discs. Storing over 10 hours of MP3 music per disc, you'll be able to travel lighter than ever. And with dual headphone jacks, you can watch or listen with a friend.

The SD-P1200 is serious about image quality, using a 12-bit/54 MHz video digital-to-analog conversion for maximum color purity, detail, and resolution across all 500 display lines. A handy feature called 3D virtual surround simulates surround sound effects from sources that contain only a two-channel (stereo) soundtrack.

Toshiba's JPEG Viewer lets you view digital photographs from discs made on a personal computer in the JPEG format, on any television. There's even an intuitive onscreen display to help you make customized slideshows with just a few simple clicks of the DVD player's remote control. Other features include chapter preview, high-speed smooth-motion scan in forward and reverse, repeat mode, title/chapter search, and skip forward/reverse. Headphones are not included.

3-0 out of 5 stars Coulda Been a Contender
I'm giving this player only three stars for several reasons. The physical design of the device is certainly attractive, and it does meet my basic need for a hand-held DVD player. However, Toshiba has made some design choices that might make sense if this were your first and only DVD player, but which hamper its utility as a portable player. I think for most buyers a portable will a second, third, or even fourth DVD player that will rarely be plugged into a TV.

The most annoying thing by far it the player's inability to remember where you left off watching a DVD. If you don't watch a film all the way through in one sitting, you have to find your way back to the point you left off each time you re-start the player (This is not, by the way, a flaw unique to this Toshiba product; I have a Toshiba 9" TV/DVD combo with the same failing).

This lack of memory is especially irritating because, as some others have noted, the player can easily lose tracking and then has the re-load the disc (I've found that keeping my thumb on the disc cover while moving seems to help prevent this; perhaps if the disc cover locked down more securely, it might not happen at all). Maybe this lack of shock resistance is a reflection of Toshiba's apparent assumption that the unit would usually be used while connected to a TV.

My other main complaint is that there are separate fast forward and reverse buttons on the remote, but not on the player itself. You can get up to 32X from the remote, but only 2X on the player (by holding down the Skip buttons). This probably would not be so much of an issue if the player could remember where it left off when you stopped or it lost tracking. This seems to be another decision made assuming it would be used as a set-top player as least as much as a portable.

Finally, there is the matter of the latch, which has the problems of being both flimsy and hard to operate. This is just poor ergonomics.

Having said all of that, however, I have to admit I do like the unit. I wanted a portable player about the size of a book that I could use in bed when I don't feel like reading, and this is an adequate solution. It's too bad Toshiba did not put more attention into making this a really great portable DVD player instead of just a great-looking portable and set-top DVD player

1-0 out of 5 stars JUNK - Do not buy
If you have not been able to tell from all the other comments, this will no longer be a portable once the battery dies. It will die and VERY Soon after you buy this DVD player. Mine lasted two uses, it is junk and the product support is misserable.<br /> <br /> Buy a Sony or something else but stay away from the Toshiba Players.

1-0 out of 5 stars AC ADAPTER TO RECHARGE BATTERY IS BAD
Yea, great picture-bad sound but even worse if you can't even take it on flights or trips that depend on the battery because the AC adapter to recharge the battery is a lemon. I have had this REPLACED by Toshiba THREE TIMES! And, I am on hold YET AGAIN with Toshiba right now because-you guessed it-it won't recharge! On a positive spin-they have replaced it and are fixing it yet again! But what a whip.

3-0 out of 5 stars Plays MPEGs From ROM discs
Great picture, poor quality sound from speakers but you have to expect that from such tiny speakers. The 2 headphone outlets are convenient and work well. But here's something they don't mention in the catalog-it can play MPEG Quicktime movies from a CD-Rom or a DVD-Rom. They do tell you that is plays JPEG photos and it does. The problem with JPEG and MPEG reading is that navigating the discs using the control panel is, to put it mildly, not intuitive. Also,it is sometimes necessary to turn the unit off and then on again to get it to load commercially produced DVD's. Homemade DVD's and VCD's are sometimes playable or not depending on the MFR of the blank disc and what program recorded it. It accepts and reads w/o complaint SVCD's recorded on Roxio Toast Titanium. Also sometimes it will not load a DVD until plugged into a wall socket even though the battery low power warning is not activated. The unit is generally reliable and has never failed me though there have been the minor nuisances listed above. Like I said the picture is great even playing MPEG's from a ROM disc. And you can adjust picture brightness with the Shift-EAM button on the remote.(Not Intuitive Again)

1-0 out of 5 stars Toshiba has problems with this player
I purchased this player last nov.03, battery dead by january, toshiba sent out new battery, that is now dead.To top it off toshiba will not stand up to there problems with this unit and replace bad batteries! I paid good money for a portable dvd player that is not portable. Toshiba wants people to shell out 150.00 for a new battery (half the price of the unit itself) Please read all the reviews and that will tell you not to buy this product! Toshiba is not handling the problem the way it should!!

Amazon.com Product Description

Ideal for the bedroom, dorm, kitchen, boat, or RV, the nine-inch AC/DC MD9DN1 delivers the quality of DVD and the convenience of a combo unit, all with Toshiba's classy silver exterior and well-designed core. Front-panel audio/video inputs accommodate hookups of a camcorder or gaming console, while a front-panel headphone jack grants listening privacy. A key on the included remote control switches between the TV and the front inputs when a gaming device is connected.

The set offers stereo sound through two front-firing, side-mounted speakers. Both Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1-channel surround-sound signals can be routed through the player's coaxial digital-audio output for direct connection to an audio/video receiver.

Other DVD features include picture zoom, DVD-R, DVD-RW, and VCD playback, and a tray lock, which secures a disc in the tray through a user-selectable onscreen code. This is perfect for securing retail demonstrations, as well as for keeping children from removing a specific music or movie title.

Use the "on" timer as an alarm clock to wake up to a favorite movie, or have the set turn off automatically when viewing in the evening (up to 360 minutes in either case). Violent or sexually explicit programming can be identified and blocked using V-Chip, prohibiting viewing by young children.

5-0 out of 5 stars Happy in Ohio
Bought this item from Amazon 2 months ago at 30.00 less than they are charging now. However, it has a bright, crisp picture and the DVD works perfectly. My large Panasonic skips and misses, but this one is smooth as can be. The picture is great! I keep it on the coffee table and use it always, instead of my 27" Phillips TV. The electric bill has gone down about $20 per month because of this. I haven't used it in the car or carried it around much, but I would have confidence in doing so. The remote works well, but have to hold it up to the light sometimes to read the small lettering until you get used to where the buttons are. I would reccommend this unit highly, just because it works so well.

1-0 out of 5 stars Junky product and service
I bought this TV in Fall 2003. The DVD drawer never opened. After driving many miles to the nearest authorized service station, I waited TWO MONTHS while they searched for the right parts. Now it's February, I've returned the original product to Toshiba, and continue to wait for its replacement to be shipped to me. At every contact with customer service, I've met with sullen and unhelpful people. They do not stand behind their product. I hugely regret buying from this manufacturer and will never again buy from Toshiba. ... Read more

Amazon.com Product Description

With its 16:9 widescreen, portrait-thin chassis, full high-definition resolution, and picture improvements for sub-HD sources such as VCRs, cable boxes, and non-progressive-scan DVD players, Toshiba's 42HP83 42-inch plasma television is primed for both movie and sports fans.

With a plasma screen you get vivid colors like you've never seen before, extremely wide viewing angles (wider, even, than LCD screens), and easy placement due to a plasma monitor's slim size--the 42HP83 is a mere 4.9 inches deep, perfect for desk or wall mounting (a table stand is included). Brightness tends to be extremely uniform across plasma screens, which are also impervious to the picture distortion and negative color balances that afflict CRT monitors when placed in close proximity to lighting or sound systems. The set's amazing specs include an LCD-shaming 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 340 cd/m2 brightness, and 1,024 x 768 resolution.

Heading up the great features is CrystalScan HDSC, which coverts all signals--including 480p--to full 1080i resolution. Frame, line, and pixel doubling are all used to create progressive, full-frame images from standard interlaced signals (such as composite-video signals from DVD players, VCRs, and camcorders). The process reduces jagged-line artifacts for a smoother, more natural image. Selectable 540p, for those who want to display a progressive-scan image from a progressive-scan source, is available via the handy onscreen menu.

HD Dynamic Contrast continually analyzes picture information and enhances those parts of the picture with the most detail information which results in a sharper, deeper, more film-like images. The 42HP83's 3D Y/C (4 MB, 10-bit) digital comb filter further enhances resolution by removing blurred edges between colors and reducing dot crawl (tiny, moving dots of color along a sharp color separation in a vertical line, as in a depiction of a character's striped T-shirt).

A pair of ColorStream HD component-video inputs provide the ultimate picture quality from high-resolution component-video signals, like those from DTV set-top boxes, progressive-scan DVD players, or satellite receivers. Other connections include a direct-digital DVI input with high-bandwidth digital content protection (HDCP), three each composite- and S-video inputs, and a composite-video output (with both fixed- and variable-level audio outs) for use with a VCR or surround receiver.

HD Window multiscan 2-tuner POP (picture-on-picture) accepts 480i, 480p, 720p, and 1080i signals and can even display two different-resolution signals simultaneously. The split-screen function lets you adjust the size of the POP boxes and will even let you view both 16:9 and 4:3 images at the same time. The set's seven MultiWindow system makes it possible to see the main picture while viewing your favorites or doing a channel scan in seven smaller boxes.

When hooked up to the IR output, the supplied TheaterLink IR dongle lets you operate up to six video components by simply pointing the remote at the TV screen, even if the components are hidden away in cabinets or out of view.

Cinema Mode (3:2 pulldown) circuitry identifies original film-based content from DVDs, then reassembles the frame sequence to more accurately reproduce the original 24-frame-per-second material. Four TheaterWide picture modes enable full-screen viewing of varying widescreen movie formats, while color temperature control provides three selectable temperature settings for achieving an optimum white balance.

1-0 out of 5 stars Defective Product and Customer Support Stinks
First the good:
-the picture quality is good, the colors are rich.

Now the bad:
-the speakers produce distortion
-you cannot save settings associated with different inputs. This means every time you switch from one type of feed to another (watching a movie on DVD to watching regular TV via the satellite), you have to change the relevant settings. This gets to be time consuming and tiresome.

Now the unacceptable:
From the day I purchased this TV I have had sound synching problems. Sometimes the sound is off by as much as a second. My experience with Toshiba Customer support is very similar to the experience other reviewers have had: Toshiba tech support arranged for a local shop to examine the TV. They reported the problem to Toshiba and nothing has happened. I have had the TV almost two months now. Worse is, every time I call Toshiba to check the status, they cannot tell me anything, not even when they expect to repair or replace the TV.

My hoped for outcome from this will be that I will be able to return the TV and I will then purchase another brand, probably the highly rated Panasonic TH-42PA20U

1-0 out of 5 stars Defective product--don't even think about buying!
We loved this TV for one month. Then a bright red line appeared from the top of the screen to the middle. Toshiba tech support arranged for a local shop to examine the tv. The repairmen determined that the line was from a failed circuit board. They said this "happens all the time" on Toshiba plasmas, something I never noticed in doing my due diligence on this product before I bought it. So here is a warning for anyone thinking about buying this or any other Toshiba plasma. Try another brand! By the way, since Amazon refuses to accept returns on any large tv, if you buy a lemon (like I did), you could lose thousands of dollars. You should not even consider ordering a large tv from Amazon. JUNE 11 UPDATE: after waiting 2 weeks for a service call and another 6 weeks for Toshiba to get the parts to the repair shop, the repair crew was unable to fix the problem. Toshiba now says it will send me a new set, but they can't say when this will happen. JUNE 16 UPDATE: Although Toshiba promised on June 11 to promptly replace my defective tv, today it said it had no idea when this might happen. Meanwhile, we have an unwatchable tv. For $5000, I expected customer service to be considerably better than this! Don't make the same mistake, buy any plasma tv other than a Toshiba. JULY 7 UPDATE: Finally, we have a new plasma tv and are rid of the old one. We should be glad, but we're terrified about having to deal with Toshiba's terrible customer service if the new one is defective, too.

5-0 out of 5 stars Just got one
I have looked at all the HDTV Plasma in 42". This is the best model out there. The picture looks crystal clear, the colors look natural, and the image is very bright. J&R has this model next to the more expensive Sony Wega Plasma. If you have seen those two TV's side-by-side, you wouldn't pay $1000 more for the Sony Wega model. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Good Starter Camera
This is a good Camera if you just want point and click. No having to worry about file formats (only does jpg) and focusing .If you need to do things manualy buy another camera. The LCD is easy to use and the internal battery is nice touch since you don't have to buy batteries. The main drawback is if you forget to charge it you can't just buy batteries. The software is easy to use both on the camera and supplied for the pc. It also supports a sd card which is really nice as well. Like I said before this camera is for those of us who just want to take quick pictures when were out without much hassle.Overall I am happy because that is all I want out of a camera. Much better then buying disposables or a cheap 35mm camera.

Amazon.com Product Description

Get the most from DVDs and CDs with Toshiba's SD-3950 single-disc DVD player, whose ultimate progressive-scan ColorStream Pro component-video outputs produce seamless, flicker-free images with high-definition and HD-ready TVs. Built-in MP3 and WMA (Windows Media Audio) decoding let you compile music on a PC and listen to it on a stereo or TV, and you can even watch customized digital-picture slideshows using recordable CDs filled with standard JPEG image files.

Whether your living room is currently home to an HDTV or you're merely thinking of "someday," the SD-3950 stands ready to deliver the full potential ofDVDs. Progressive scanning, referred to as 480p for the number of horizontal lines that compose the video image, creates a picture using twice the scan lines of a conventional DVD picture, giving higher resolution and sharper images while eliminating nearly all motion artifacts.

The SD-3950 also performs 3:2 pulldown. DVD mastering introduces a common distortion when adjusting 24 frames-per-second movies to 30 fps video; 3:2 pulldown digitally corrects this distortion. Conventional composite- and S-video outputs bring compatibility with nearly any television. The "expanded" mode in the player's black-level setting produces richer, deeper black tones in every image. PLUGE (Picture Line Up Generation Equipment) delivers black as well as below-black signals to a television.

A set of left/right analog-audio outputs channel audio to Dolby Pro Logic receivers and stereo televisions. Both Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1-channel surround-sound signals can be routed through the player's digital-audio output (coaxial) for direct connection to a full-featured audio/video receiver. The player's internal digital-to-analog converters work at 24-bit, 192 kHz resolution to ensure optimum sonic quality from a range of digital program material.

Enhanced Audio Mode (E.A.M.) offers three sound settings: normal (off), 3-D (virtual surround sound enhancement), and dialogue expander (which enhances center-channel frequencies in the range of human voices during playback of multichannel content). Other playback options include Power Picture Zoom (which lets you magnify a select area of an image), bookmarking (up to nine marks), and parental lock.

4-0 out of 5 stars Happy with it
I purchased SD-3950 from Amazon.com about 5 months ago and I used it with a new Sony HD TV set. It was very easy to setup and operate. So far no problem at all. It can read minor damaged DVDs that my other DVD player can't read. The picture quality is good but I have no chance to compare with other progressive scan DVD player yet. The olny thing I don't like is when you use fast forward, it doesn't show you a smooth fast forward, but it jumps forward. Overall, it is a cheap DVD player (I paid for under $40 after rebate) with pretty good quality for me.

5-0 out of 5 stars Good value for the money
I considered purchasing one of the off brand DVD players but decided to spend the extra $20 and get this one. I've had a couple of 4 year old KLH units which have been marginal (although worth what I paid) and decided to go with the Toshiba based on features and mostly positive reviews. I'm very pleased with it so far. It plays everything I have thrown at it including DVD+R and CD-R. One thing that I couldn't find mentioned anywhere is whether there was a random play mode for mp3's. Turns out that there is. This is a really nice feature which many cheap units don't offer.

5-0 out of 5 stars This is a very good CD player
It works fine as a DVD player, no complaints. As a CD player, it's been a very nice surprise, indeed. The sound quality is substantially better (using the analog output of the Toshiba 3950) with this cheap DVD player than I get running a digital feed directly into my Harman Kardon receiver. There are some significant ergonomic issues with using it as a CD player, including the fact that the display doesn't show the track number. I just hope that I don't have the breakdown problems that some other folks seem to be having.

4-0 out of 5 stars buy it as cd Player
I Just read some reviews in professional audio forum, and many of them said this player can provide the HI-FI stander music source, and even marked this one as the best choice of CD resorce under the $600. I bought one, and found it is true it can produce very clean music.
However, when I tried DVD, the color was diffused. I just called AMAZON to make the replacement. after several days waiting, I got my second 3950, the audio is even better than the first one. Again putting the dvd in, it finally give the DVD quality color, however 20 minutes later, the same problem of color diffussing was appearing.
I dont have more time and energy to change this machine.
Anyhow, I still give this machine for 4 star, because I just bought it as the CD-player, and its audio along do deserve its price.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Unit at a Great Price!
This unit is my 3rd Toshiba DVD Player and definitely the best one thus far. Easy set-up, great remote and crystal clear picture.

At this price, why buy anything else? ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent cable modem at a bargain price.
Recently I decided to switch from a dial-up internet service provider with a 56K modem to cable internet service with the a cable modem. The cable modem service has several advantages: (1) I don't have to dial a number to access it; it's on all the time, (2) It's MUCH faster than a 56K modem, and (3) using my computer via a cable modem doesn't tie up my telephone line. My cable company specifically recommended that I buy a Toshiba cable modem so I bought the new Toshiba Pcx2200. So far it has performed flawlessly and I am thoroughly satisfied with it. It seems to be quite versatile: it works with both PCs and Macs (I use a Mac) and is compatible with both ethernet and USB interfaces. The low price was a pleasant surprise -- many other cable modems that were not specifically recommended by my cable company were more expensive. I've had a long histrory of satisfaction with Toshiba products and highly recommend this one.

3-0 out of 5 stars PCX2200 - - maybe, maybe not...
Just installed this but had to do it in a roundabout way. First off, the modem has big warning signs not to connect any cables until the software tells you to. Ok fine. I pop in the CD, it goes through the instructions. It does tell you to plug in the AC adapter into the back of the modem. It doesn't tell you when to plug it into an electrical outlet. By the time it starts trying to detect the modem (and fails, obviously,) I figure I better plug it into the wall.

Even with the modem plugged in, the software can't detect the modem if you're running through a router. Doesn't seem to need the drivers, at least if you're running through an ethernet card. The installation troubleshooting guide was no help. I gave up on the software running in circles and exited. In spite of all this it still worked once I gave the cable company my MAC ID. (Software still can't detect the modem, though.)

Here's the strange part. I've been running speedtests on two different computers. The Win98 computer that the modem is directly connected to runs really, really slow and doesn't come near my 1.5MB connection. My other WinXP computer that is networked through a wireless router gets nice 1.5MB transfer rates off this same modem. Go figure.

I can't speculate on why one computer runs slow and another runs fast, but I can say I had a Motorola Surfboard SB5120 before this and I didn't have these problems, even when running through a router.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great and cheap!
It's a recommended modem with my cable company - which, previously, with an old motorola, I assumed meant it would work with the cable connection. The motorola didn't, but the cheaper toshiba did!

2-0 out of 5 stars Told By Apartment Complex That It Doesn't Work on Their Syst
Apartment complex has it's own cable system. I purchased this product but before I opened it I checked with the complex and was told that the last 4 Toshiba modems they tried to hook up didn't work. They said the Motorola or Linksys modems worked fine. They talked with the Toshiba tech support but still couldn't get it going for some reason. So just a word of warning to check with your cable supplier before making a decision on the modem. ... Read more

Amazon.com Product Description

The 35-inch Toshiba 35A44 FST Black direct-view CRT TV delivers a big, beautiful picture using several unique technologies to give you the best viewing experience. Toshiba's Flatter Squarer Tube (FST) significantly reduces screen curvature on the horizontal, vertical, and diagonal axis of the panel. The FST Black picture tube supplies an increased viewing angle along with improved linearity compared with conventional tubes. A special darkening compound is added to the glass before the tube is formed that reduces ambient light reflection while improving contrast and depth of field.

A 3-line digital comb filter with Vertical Contour Correction virtually eliminates dot crawl or cross-color interference--producing a superior picture. While digital comb filters improve the vertical edges of images, Vertical Contour Correction works with the comb filters to improve the horizontal edges for complete image enhancement. Color temperature controls allow you to adjust white balance. The "Warm" setting reduces the color temperature to an NTSC standard 6,500 degrees Kelvin and delivers a redder image that is ideal for display in a dimly lit room. "Medium" and "Cool" provide a progressively bluer image for the best picture as room light levels are increased. The Black Level Expander increases the black threshold level, so blacks are pure black, not dark gray. This improved contrast makes the picture appear sharper and more 3D.

The 35A44's double-baffle speaker design uses side-mounted, front-firing speakers to deliver the most stereo sound reproduction available from a television's internal speaker system. Aside from the 5-watts-per-channel stereo speaker system, the 35A44 uses MTS for programming with stereo sound, SAP for receiving a second audio track in another language. And if you really like to be immersed in the environments on screen, the set's surround sound abilities let you enjoy an enhanced home theater experience without connection of external speakers.

The 35A44 has plenty of inputs for all your audio and video components. In back you'll find one RF, two composite, one S-video, and one ColorStream component, as well as video and fixed audio outputs. ColorStream component video inputs split the video signal into its base components--Y (the black and white part of the picture), Pr (red minus Y), and Pb (blue minus Y). The signal remains pure and unaffected by the TV's comb filter or NTSC decoder. The result is higher resolution and improved color purity. A front composite input makes hooking up a game console or camcorder a snap.

Many convenience features have been incorporated into the 35A44's design. A four-item glow universal remote with DVD controls give you access to the trilingual (English, Spanish, French) icon onscreen display, sleep timer, noise muting, and channel return as well as basics like channel changing, volume, and picture and audio adjustments. There are also parental control options, including V-Chip and channel lock.

4-0 out of 5 stars Not to bad
First got this and was really dissapointed. This repalced a 27" Sony Wega - non HDTV. Watchung tv, and dvd's with a progressive scan dvd player, well, the Sony was just as good or better with the picture. I then ordered HD through my local cable company. Iwas stunned at the results...although only a handfull of theit offerings are in HD, the few they have look real good. Buy this TV, sign up with VOOM tv and get a Samsung HD DVD player, you may never leave your house again. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Battery continually loses it's mind
I bought this unit about 2 years ago and love the features it has. Unfortunately some days the battery and the unit works fine, the next day it loses the entire battery and the unit is completely dead with no data left. Basically on good days the unit uses about 10% battery life, on bad days the entire battery will go all at once.

Further research has shown all the Toshiba PDA's suffer from the same problem. Never will I buy one from Toshiba again.

1-0 out of 5 stars Total Waste of Money
I bought the e330 and about 25 days later, the unit refused to turn on. The battery had been FULLY charged. I had noticed the unit started to shutdown by itself a few days prior. Eventually it just refused to turn on. I had babied the e330 since day one and tried to give PDAs a chance, but I went back to a notepad and pen. It only cost me $1 max.

The e330 did offer decent screen quality, fast operating speed, and worked fairly well limited as it may be. It played videos very nicely but I wasn't too happy with this power-on failure.

1-0 out of 5 stars The worst mistake I've ever made
I purchased my pocket PC on April 2003.This is so far the worst mistake I've ever made, it crashes constantly and it looses all the information stored in file at all times. The battery life is approximately close to garbage and their customer service is terrible, far from efficient, inpolite, and quite lazy.Had I known this product was a piece of garbage, I would have never, never bought it.In fact, I don't think I will ever purchase a Toshiba product EVER AGAIN.

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't buy this if you want support or SDIO
I bought the E330 because of features, form and price over the HP1910 which was a BIG mistake.

Toshiba provide no ROM support and if you want wireless you have to use Toshiba's overpriced Bluetooth card.

Here is my letter to Toshiba.

Official Complaint.
Why does the SD slot on my E330 not operate as SDIO, why is there no ROM Upgrade and why is there no product support available for my E330?

This is a relatively new machine, I only purchased it last May and yet when I contacted customer support in June about the lack of a real SDIO Toshiba already did not provide any support for it. I have contacted Customer Service several times about product support with total dissatisfaction.

In particular your product labelling and it's feature claims are designed to deceive or dupe the consumer. The box says "Built-in SD slot for additional memory and devices" and "SD slot for expandability".

If you are not going to provide support for this product then that is tantamount to duping the consumer by false advertising.

I have to soft reset the device almost every week due to unexplained lockups.

Please let me know where you would like me to send this unmerchantable product and confirm that you will provide a full refund to me. (I am serious)

Very dissatisfied customer

1-0 out of 5 stars Not worth it - buy another product
I purchased this product and if I could do it all again I would not purchase it.I have had problems with it from almost the beginning. The unit constantly crashes and looses all battery power. This has happened during syncs or while just looking at the calendar. The PDA's batty level is high.Once it was at 96%.The only way to use it again is to do a hard reset - which erases all the data and to recharge it.This has happened several times.Toshiba support is awful and not helpful.another problem I've had is that the USB power sync cable I purchased broke a pin. This wasn't a part of the warrenty and Toshiba wanted $110 to repair the product.I am very dissatisfied and will not purchase another Toshiba product. ...
