2-0 out of 5 stars Not too happy!
I am not too happy with this case. The belt clip does not fit any work belt I wear. It will work fine with a dress belt, but not any kind of wide work belt. The inside of the case is full of dried glue where they glued the lining to the leather. Most of all, the ipaq will not fit in the charging cradle while it is in the case; you have to take it out of the case everytime you want to sync it to your computer or charge it. Also I don't like the pocket on the inside of the case. Anything you put in the pocket (like an sd card) presses directly on the screen. It may be safe, but I'm not going to take a chance with the screen. Searh for something better, especially at the price of this one.

4-0 out of 5 stars Exelent choice for carrying a nacked iPAC
For those who don't wear shirts with pockets or are afraid of the iPAC slipping out of the pocket and being damaged on the floor, AND who have not added any slip-on accessories, this is a great add-on. It fits the naked iPAC just perfectly with easy access to all functions except the recessed reset button on the bottom, which you hopefully won't have to use very often.

What I really like is that it has a belt clip, very much like the ones used by some of the high quality cell phones. It slips on the belt, and a "button" on the back of the case securely "snaps" into the holder. To remove the iPAC along with the case, you push a large button on the top of the belt clip and the case easily slides up and out. When you are ready to put it away, it "snaps" securely in place. Another thing I like is that I carry mine on the right side, which covers the right hand pants pocket. The case, mounted on the belt loop easily "swivels" out of the way to allow easy access to the pocket.

The only reason I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that the portion of the belt clip where the belt slips through could have been made to more easily accomidate various belt "thicknesses". The belt I use is somewhat thick,(as opposed to "wide") but not at all uncommonly thick. The belt clip accomidates it, but just barely, and putting it on the belt is a pain, especially where the belt holes have been stretched "out" by strain on the belt by my little bit to large stomach. You have to exert some "muscle grese" to slip the clip onto and up the belt to its desired location.

I don't wear a shirt with a pocket very often, and when I do, I still prefer the iPAC holder because it is secure, there is no added weight to the shirt pocket and you don't notice the iPAC at all mounted on your belt ... even sitting down it swivels out of the way.

I use my iPAC a lot for listening to mp3's that I download. The flap on the case works beautifully to hold the earphone plug snugly in the earphone recepticle on the IPAC, something I had trouble with before I got the Rhino Case. I remove the iPAC with case frequently during the day, and the large "release" button on the belt clip works easily to release the case from its "locked" position without having to look down to the clip ... it is easily done by feel alone.

Of all the add-ons I have purchased for my iPAC, becides additional SD Memory for mp3s, the Rhino case is, by far, the most useful and, for me, essential of the lot. To top it off, it has worked flawlessly as advertised and the fit to the iPAK is perfect. Now, the question is, how long will it be before either something breaks on the belt clip, or the eye on the back of the case comes off (as so often happens with cell phones that use this same system). Once either of those events happens it will be time or order another RhinoSkin Leather Flip Case.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good fit for my IPAQ, mostly.
This was mostly a good fit for the Ipaq. It's not hard to insert and take out, but I have to push it in really hard to get the entire top of the screen to be visible in the window. But that might change after I've had it a while and it breaks in.

The post mount is a plus, since it's compatible with any Nokia phone post mount.

4-0 out of 5 stars Not too bad
Very pleased with the flip case, however think it is a bit pricey. Provides the kind of protection I need working in a manufacturing facility. Love the belt clip, and it seems sturdy enough to hold up. 5 stars if it was under 25 bucks. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Leaves a lot to be desired
I got this case because I am one of those people who is still attached to having paper and a pen/pencil. While it does have room for a small tablet this causes the case to be too tight on the PDA and as a consequence it is always on. Adding credit cards and other forms of ID exascerbate this problem further. There is also nothing to hold a writing utensil in place. There is one elastic loop meant to hold the stylus and nothing else will fit.

I finally gave up and went back to using the case that came with my Visor.

2-0 out of 5 stars Too Bulky
The craftsman ship of this case is just fine, the quality of the leather is fine grained and buffed to a medium polish -- so how come I don't carry it? It's too bulky. The case is padded which makes it nice to touch, but with my Palm IIIc inside it's over an inch and a half thick which makes it a real handful and not why I went to a PDA. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Rhino Skin Case Used for the Sony NZ90
This is a universal case and can be used as a nice little case for the Sony NZ90. It's nothing fancy, like all those expensive leather ones for $75. But, for $15, it's a great case. It has a couple of slots for credit cards and a pouch for memory sticks. This case will keep your NZ90 safe from minor bumps, scrapes, and splashes. It won't protect against a bullet, toilet dunking, or a car driving over it, but then, not many cases will do that.

If you just want a simple and efficient case for your NZ90, this is the one to get for only $15.

1-0 out of 5 stars If you care about your PDA don't buy this case
I recently purchased this case for my new Dell Axim as I thought that it would be a good cheap case I could clip to my belt. I was horrified my first day when it fell off my belt as I got off the subway-- If a kind stranger hadn't picked it up, I would have lost it. I tried to tighten the clip but to no avail-- it still can fall off. My Axim did survive these drops, for what it's worth, but I strongly recommend against this case. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Great, but...
Great case - easy to use and to remove from belt. Only hassle is having to remove my m505 to hot sync and charge. The case would be be perfect if it had holes for the cradle.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent case!
The flipcase design protects my Palm IIIc quite well. Hopefully it will shield my handheld from drops like the one I just experienced with my Palm IIIxe in a Palm case. Unlike the Palm case which requires you to remove the unit from the case, leaving it vulnerable to drops, the Rhinoskin Combo Leather Flipcase allows you to swivel the case and detach it from a holster clip by pressing a latch on top of the clip. The unit appears to be quite sturdy, feels good in the hands, has space for credit cards or business cards, and provides easy access to the stylus, as advertised. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY!
If you're looking for a well-built aluminum case for your Visor, take a look at the one made by Kensington. I recently bought it for mine and it is very well designed. All the complaints I've read about the RhinoSkin simply don't apply at all to the Kensington model.

The Kensington holds the pda very firmly, but it is also very easy to slide the Visor in and out when you want. Also, one of the lids on the Kensington is magnetized, which keeps it shut (no clips to mess with). Oh yeah, the Kensington is cheaper too. You'd be hard pressed to find a better case.

1-0 out of 5 stars Poor manufacture quality.
The case will not provide any crush protection. The aluminum on this case is so thin it can easily be bent by hand. With the case closed the clip releases tension and the top of the visor becomes loose to rattle back and forth in the case. If the case were dropped I'm afraid my Visor would probably be ejected from the case and sustain damage due to the poor construction.

2-0 out of 5 stars mixed emotions
Okay, I bought the case, and now I'm back on amazon looking for another option. I'm not entirely sure I will replace it, but here are some of the pros and cons: Pro: finally, a slim, rigid case for my visor; a port for IR beaming and stylus; I feel a little more comfortable about bumps and drops; it looks sleek and clean. Con: seems shoddily constructed for a [price] case; the cover doesn't close exactly true with the bottom(when they line up there is a gap, and it is hard to open. When they are skewed the gap closes up and will open easier); the neoprene padding is very thin; it opens hard; the visor doesn't sit snugly in the case, requiring me to push it down to remove the stylus; when I tried to adjust the tension by bending the inside clip the glue holding it there almost came off; when closed, the visor rattles around inside a little; when I recieved it one of the pins that holds the bottom of the visor had fallen off and I had to fumble with the micro-screw to re-attach. A mixed bag, I guess. I just got it, and it seems functional enough as far as using the visor while encased, but I am disappointed with the actual quality of manufacturing. This is aluminum, not titanium, so where does this [price] tag come from? Not quality engineering.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good Protection, Takes Some Getting Used To
The Rhino Skin Molded case provides superior protection for your Handspring Visor. The case is just marginally bigger than the Visor itself, and has a very clean and study feel to it.

When I received the product, I was a bit dismayed that it took several adjustments to the metal clips so that my Visor would be secure in the case. The biggest problem that I had was adjusting the top clip so that I am able to pull out the stylus while the Visor is in the case without the styles rubbing the case. This was a frustrating process. While using the case, I have developed the habit of holding it at the top with my left hand to squeeze the Visor down into the case, to ensure that the stylus is easily accessible.

Once in the case, depending on how tight you have the metal clip set, the Visor can be difficult to pull out, but after a few adjustments, I have found a happy medium between the Visor being snug in the case, but not too hard to pull out. There is a hole in the side of the case that allows for beaming.

The aluminum case is lined with a thin layer of padding. There is not room for anything else in this case but your Visor. After some use, the case seems to be holding up well.

Using the case, without a flat surface to put it on, is manageable. I am able to hold the opened lid with my left hand and still have enough control write with my right hand. While laying on a flat surface writing using the Visor is a snap.

In summary, this is a compact case that provides great protection and style. The case is double the price of some of the entry-level leather cases, but half of the price of RhinoSkin's Slider Ti case. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Product
My first thought when I received the product was that it was cheap. The metal was very thin, and opening and closing was very metallic sounding and somewhat unrefined feeling. But once I put the visor into the case, everything seemed to come together nicely. The visor fits PERFECTLY. No movement whatsoever, and even though it is only sitting in place, and isn't held in in any way, I have no fear that it will fall out. The fit is quite snug. I really like the case, the titanium is thin, but it won't bend. I don't think many women would like this case, but I have no regrets. The only downside is that in my opinion, the stylus is a bit difficult to remove; I have gotten used to it, but a little more space around the stylus would have been nice. EXCELLENT PRODUCT; WELL WORTH THE PRICE!
Wouldn't have any other case after using this one.

3-0 out of 5 stars Titanium Handspring Case
This product is definitely for the "form follows function" crowd. It's ugly and expensive. However, if you are like me and prone to drop your PDA, it might be a necessary evil. I thought about shelling out the extra bucks for a Palm V just because there are at least 2 or 3 elegant hard cases available for it. The Visor has no such good fortune, so you're stuck with either a leather case or this titanium one. Unfortunately, the titanium case runs at $99. There is a myth that titanium is extremely hard to work with, which is true if you're making a bicycle, but for that amount of money I would really expect a more compact, possibly contoured shape. It would also be nice if the visor snapped into place rather than being held in by the friction against neoprene tape. All in all, i say that if you have the opportunity, spend half an hour in a metal shop and make your own case out of some sheet metal. It would look and work about as well, and only cost you about five bucks and an hour of labor. Otherwise, go ahead and get the titanium one. If you drop your PDA, this is its best chance for survival.

5-0 out of 5 stars Moneysaver
After cracking the screen on my first hangspring Visor, I decided to try the Rhinoskin Ti slider case for my second visor. Despite the added bulk that the case adds, it is very workable overall. But my love for the case came one day at work when I was up on a 15' tall tower and accidentally knocked the case off my belt (I have rhinoskin's matching belt case for the Ti-slider). The case enclode handspring dropped about 18 feet to the concrete floor. I climbed down and pulled the cse out of the belt pouch, then opened the case. Not a mark on the handspring. Still works perfectly. The case has already payed for itself...

4-0 out of 5 stars Impressively Durable
I drop my PDA an average of once per week while it is in this case (I am a professional klutz. Do not try this at home). It has never suffered any damage, despite the apparent skimpiness of the neoprene inside the case. There's enough in there to do the job.

The only reason I docked this item one star, despite its stellar performance in saving my PDA, is that it is impossible to open with one hand, and is designed for right-handed users. This is a nuisance when you are looking up a phone number to dial a cell phone. I think the slider could have been designed for one-handed use, and to slide in a direction more comfortable for left-handers.

Over time the case ages to a handsome graphite color. Titanium is way cool.

4-0 out of 5 stars great protection against accidental damage and dog teeth
actually it's probably 4+. it would be a 5 if the up-down buttons didn't touch the under side of case top when closed. that and the fact that there is no positive retention (i.e. velcro or some such) to keep the visor in the box. that said i think it is the best protection available. ...

The unit appears to be quite sturdy, feels good in the hands, has space for credit cards or business cards, and provides easy access to the stylus, as advertised. ...

4-0 out of 5 stars great protection against accidental damage and dog teeth
actually it's probably 4+. it would be a 5 if the up-down buttons didn't touch the under side of case top when closed. that and the fact that there is no positive retention (i.e. velcro or some such) to keep the visor in the box. that said i think it is the best protection available. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars Too Big & Bulky
I bought this case for my Palm IIIc and it's too big for even my IIIc. To give you an idea how oversized this case really is, it will even zip up around my Palm keyboard! Besides, it doesn't have that nice new leather smell -- it just smells. :( ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Good case for the sony clie T665
I thought I had purchased the aluminum rhino skin case but recieved this one. I was pleasently suprised so I decided to keep it. It has a belt clip and with summer comming I didn't have any way of carrying it. (the clie with my existing case didn't fit in my pocket). It fits in snug and the jog dial, headphone jack and hold switch are easily accesible. This makes it good if you go for a walk and want to listen to your favorite mp3's. My problems with it are I have yet to figure out what the pocket in the front is good for (I think it's just there for looks), the sylus is partially covered up by a leather strap, it doesn't fit in your cradle (so I bought a usb charger/cpu sync cable), and the spots for your memory sticks and cards are much too tight. Other than those issues I find it to be a real effective and handy case. I recommend it. ... Read more
