1-0 out of 5 stars Don't buy for Tungsten E
I bought one because was supposed to be compatible with the Tungsten E. It sits loosely in the case and will fall out easily if turned upside down. The hinge feels like it is on the wrong side and you have to remove the PDA from the case (not hard to do since it will fall out on it's own) in order to get the stylus out.

1-0 out of 5 stars Sorry I bought one....
It looks nice and offers extra protection. Major drawbacks to me are: 1)you have to take it out of the case to charge even if you use a travel charger. 2)It is quite clumsy to hold while using in the case...because it is hinged it is difficult to hold and use at the same time. For these reasons I will not use it.

3-0 out of 5 stars Great but...
Truly a handsome aluminium case for your Tungsten, and very sturdy, but you have to take the Palm out of the case for it to fit into the HotSync cradle, which is d*** inconvenient.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good case, great protection
I got this case for my Tungsten C about a week ago. Overall I like it as it is like armor for my palm which takes a lot of abuse.

The other reviewers pretty much covered it all. The only drawback is that it doesn't have a double hinge which would allow you to fold the cover all the way behind the palm while open. Since it must sit open book like, I find it can get in the way of my right thumb while trying to type. It's not too bad for quick notes, but if I'll be typing a lot of notes in a meeting, I just pop the palm out of the case.

If you're looking for armor like protection for your Palm Tungsten C, this is the one to go with.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Case
Needed a case to go with my new Tungsten C and decided to give this one a try. Definately worth the money. It fits the C perfectly. Not only is it a good protective case but it looks pretty sharp. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars good but not great
It fits my 2215 very nicely and is very sturdy but I do have a few small complaints. It doesn't make a tight seal and everytime I pull it out I have to wipe lint off of the screen. Also, it has a slot for an extra SD card (great idea) but when I had a card in it it would scratch up the screen (don't use it anymore). Fortunately I had a skin on the screen but still a bummer. Also, I've had it for a few months now and the cover is starting to get loose (and it's never been dropped). I may use it more than most but I wish is was a little better made. Still, it's better than fabric.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great protection
Fits my HP 2215 beautifully and protects it very nicely. Only issue is that you have to take it out of the case to set the Pocket PC in its base, but not a major issue. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Very strong and good case, especially for the price.
Made out of aluminum with the cover sliding length-wise. Cover makes a nose when used and some people may consider it bulky since it doesn't comfortably fit in a pocket, thus the 4 rating. Visor holds secure without Velcro or anything else that you may have to use to hold Visor secure in traditional cases (very nice feature). Pen and infrared beam easily accessible. VERY strong and has a high tech look. Would recommend especially for the ... price, since I've seen the same case run ...in retail stores. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Case was poor fit
The case was too narrow and the visor edge wouldn't fit right. Surprising since other Rhinoskin products were just fine.

4-0 out of 5 stars Well-made quality case
I bought the brown leather flip case about 3 weeks ago and it's really very nice. The stitching is perfect and the leather is high quality and it looks great. The snap is high quality and when the case is closed it holds the visor securely. My only complaint is that the opening for the beam function does not exactly line up with the beam though there is room to maneuver the visor so that the beam works. Also, the visor does not sit perfectly flat within the case. These are really minor issues and overall I would highly recommend it. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Product
My first thought when I received the product was that it was cheap. The metal was very thin, and opening and closing was very metallic sounding and somewhat unrefined feeling. But once I put the visor into the case, everything seemed to come together nicely. The visor fits PERFECTLY. No movement whatsoever, and even though it is only sitting in place, and isn't held in in any way, I have no fear that it will fall out. The fit is quite snug. I really like the case, the titanium is thin, but it won't bend. I don't think many women would like this case, but I have no regrets. The only downside is that in my opinion, the stylus is a bit difficult to remove; I have gotten used to it, but a little more space around the stylus would have been nice. EXCELLENT PRODUCT; WELL WORTH THE PRICE!
Wouldn't have any other case after using this one.

4-0 out of 5 stars Rhinoskin has a winner!
One look at the Rhinoskin Ti Slider for the Visor and you will know it's t-o-u-g-h. Here are some quick points on the case (after a week of using it).

Pros.

1) It's tough. The 100 percent grade-1 titanium can take a beating.

2) Does not add too much weight when coupled with the Visor.

3) Fits in inner pocket jacket or back pocket of jeans.

4) "Manly" industrial look.

5) Fits with the PDA Panache Custom Stylus perfectly.

Cons.

1) Front plate rubs against the Up and Down buttons. The paint comes off the buttons. (A little neoprene should take care of that.)

2) Case does NOT hold the PDA securely. All the case does is cradle the PDA. (Some Velcro should take care of that.)

3) Metal against metal sound when opening and closing the case. (Some people don't like this sound. What can you do?)

4) Needs more neoprene on the front side. To cover the screen of the PDA.

5) "Manly" industrial look. I don't think many women would use this.

That's some quick points on the Ti Slider for the visor. My main reasons for getting it is that it fits the Panache stylus and that it can take a beating. The Ti Slider fit the bill!

5-0 out of 5 stars Moneysaver
After cracking the screen on my first hangspring Visor, I decided to try the Rhinoskin Ti slider case for my second visor. Despite the added bulk that the case adds, it is very workable overall. But my love for the case came one day at work when I was up on a 15' tall tower and accidentally knocked the case off my belt (I have rhinoskin's matching belt case for the Ti-slider). The case enclode handspring dropped about 18 feet to the concrete floor. I climbed down and pulled the cse out of the belt pouch, then opened the case. Not a mark on the handspring. Still works perfectly. The case has already payed for itself...

4-0 out of 5 stars Impressively Durable
I drop my PDA an average of once per week while it is in this case (I am a professional klutz. Do not try this at home). It has never suffered any damage, despite the apparent skimpiness of the neoprene inside the case. There's enough in there to do the job.

The only reason I docked this item one star, despite its stellar performance in saving my PDA, is that it is impossible to open with one hand, and is designed for right-handed users. This is a nuisance when you are looking up a phone number to dial a cell phone. I think the slider could have been designed for one-handed use, and to slide in a direction more comfortable for left-handers.

Over time the case ages to a handsome graphite color. Titanium is way cool.

4-0 out of 5 stars great protection against accidental damage and dog teeth
actually it's probably 4+. it would be a 5 if the up-down buttons didn't touch the under side of case top when closed. that and the fact that there is no positive retention (i.e. velcro or some such) to keep the visor in the box. that said i think it is the best protection available. ... 2-0 out of 5 stars Not too happy!
I am not too happy with this case. The belt clip does not fit any work belt I wear. It will work fine with a dress belt, but not any kind of wide work belt. The inside of the case is full of dried glue where they glued the lining to the leather. Most of all, the ipaq will not fit in the charging cradle while it is in the case; you have to take it out of the case everytime you want to sync it to your computer or charge it. Also I don't like the pocket on the inside of the case. Anything you put in the pocket (like an sd card) presses directly on the screen. It may be safe, but I'm not going to take a chance with the screen. Searh for something better, especially at the price of this one.

4-0 out of 5 stars Exelent choice for carrying a nacked iPAC
For those who don't wear shirts with pockets or are afraid of the iPAC slipping out of the pocket and being damaged on the floor, AND who have not added any slip-on accessories, this is a great add-on. It fits the naked iPAC just perfectly with easy access to all functions except the recessed reset button on the bottom, which you hopefully won't have to use very often.

What I really like is that it has a belt clip, very much like the ones used by some of the high quality cell phones. It slips on the belt, and a "button" on the back of the case securely "snaps" into the holder. To remove the iPAC along with the case, you push a large button on the top of the belt clip and the case easily slides up and out. When you are ready to put it away, it "snaps" securely in place. Another thing I like is that I carry mine on the right side, which covers the right hand pants pocket. The case, mounted on the belt loop easily "swivels" out of the way to allow easy access to the pocket.

The only reason I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that the portion of the belt clip where the belt slips through could have been made to more easily accomidate various belt "thicknesses". The belt I use is somewhat thick,(as opposed to "wide") but not at all uncommonly thick. The belt clip accomidates it, but just barely, and putting it on the belt is a pain, especially where the belt holes have been stretched "out" by strain on the belt by my little bit to large stomach. You have to exert some "muscle grese" to slip the clip onto and up the belt to its desired location.

I don't wear a shirt with a pocket very often, and when I do, I still prefer the iPAC holder because it is secure, there is no added weight to the shirt pocket and you don't notice the iPAC at all mounted on your belt ... even sitting down it swivels out of the way.

I use my iPAC a lot for listening to mp3's that I download. The flap on the case works beautifully to hold the earphone plug snugly in the earphone recepticle on the IPAC, something I had trouble with before I got the Rhino Case. I remove the iPAC with case frequently during the day, and the large "release" button on the belt clip works easily to release the case from its "locked" position without having to look down to the clip ... it is easily done by feel alone.

Of all the add-ons I have purchased for my iPAC, becides additional SD Memory for mp3s, the Rhino case is, by far, the most useful and, for me, essential of the lot. To top it off, it has worked flawlessly as advertised and the fit to the iPAK is perfect. Now, the question is, how long will it be before either something breaks on the belt clip, or the eye on the back of the case comes off (as so often happens with cell phones that use this same system). Once either of those events happens it will be time or order another RhinoSkin Leather Flip Case.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good fit for my IPAQ, mostly.
This was mostly a good fit for the Ipaq. It's not hard to insert and take out, but I have to push it in really hard to get the entire top of the screen to be visible in the window. But that might change after I've had it a while and it breaks in.

The post mount is a plus, since it's compatible with any Nokia phone post mount.

4-0 out of 5 stars Not too bad
Very pleased with the flip case, however think it is a bit pricey. Provides the kind of protection I need working in a manufacturing facility. Love the belt clip, and it seems sturdy enough to hold up. 5 stars if it was under 25 bucks. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Titanium Handspring Case
This product is definitely for the "form follows function" crowd. It's ugly and expensive. However, if you are like me and prone to drop your PDA, it might be a necessary evil. I thought about shelling out the extra bucks for a Palm V just because there are at least 2 or 3 elegant hard cases available for it. The Visor has no such good fortune, so you're stuck with either a leather case or this titanium one. Unfortunately, the titanium case runs at $99. There is a myth that titanium is extremely hard to work with, which is true if you're making a bicycle, but for that amount of money I would really expect a more compact, possibly contoured shape. It would also be nice if the visor snapped into place rather than being held in by the friction against neoprene tape. All in all, i say that if you have the opportunity, spend half an hour in a metal shop and make your own case out of some sheet metal. It would look and work about as well, and only cost you about five bucks and an hour of labor. Otherwise, go ahead and get the titanium one. If you drop your PDA, this is its best chance for survival.
