1-0 out of 5 stars Addendum to my review
I had an intermittment problem where the print server would lock up. I would need to power cycle the router to fix this. Spoke with tech support last night and they had me download the firmware from the D-Link website and reinstall, even though its the same version as what was shipped. Did not work. I then had D-Link exchange my unit. Major hassle to do the exchange. Still have interimitent problem with print server locking up which requires reboot of router. Wireless connection also freezes up from time to time. Overall, not reliable.

4-0 out of 5 stars Very Good,, but Heads Up on Print Server Setup
The wireless connection has good range in my home. I bought this for the print server. It works well with either my HP PSC 1350 all in one, or my Hp Deskjet 970Cse. I will use this with a laptop so that I can print without docking the laptop.

The only thing that tripped me up was configuring the Windows XP printer port setting. After installing the DLink print server software, the IP address for the printer server port setting automatically defaulted to the correct value, but would not actually work until I typed the value into the field.

Other than that, very good. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Secure your files and folders
The new Sony Micro Vault 128MB flash drive with fingerprint access may seem overly expensive at first, but when you consider its super-accurate fingerprint ID feature, it's well worth the price.

The package consists of a 128MB flash drive that works over USB 2.0, which means fast read and write speeds, a "docking station" that's bascially a USB 2.0 extension, and a program called Sony Fingerprint Access software that, once installed on a Windows computer (no Macintosh compatibility), allows you to use the fingerprint reader on the flash drive. The fingerprint reader is a small piece of silicon that scans your fingerprint. When matched, the fingerprint access program allows you to 1) lock and unlock files and folders, 2) save login names and passwords for websites (but, only one login per site allowed), 3) secure your screensaver, and 4) securely transport your Favorites folder, so you can take your favorite links with you. Of course, to be able to use the fingerprint access features across PCs, you need to install the software on all the PCs you are going to use. Luckily, Sony allows you to intall the program without restrictions.

Installation went without a hitch, and the fingerprint software is very easy to use. First you register your fingerprints for up to seven fingers. Sony recommends you register at least two fingers, lest you lose the precious one in an accident, I presume. (Oh, in case you unfortunately do lose all your fingers, you can still use the access program via a master password. Obviously, safeguard that password well!) Fingerprint registration is really painless. The program prompts you to press the fingerprint scanner, lift your finger, repeat a few times, and presto, you are done. The fingerprint IDing process is also largely transparent. Say you saved the login info for your bank website (via an Internet Explorer toolbar icon -- sorry, doesn't work with Netscape or Opera), the next time you are back at the site, a fingerprint access window pops up automatically and asks you to either subject your finger to a scan or type in your master password. Fingerprint scanning usually takes less than a second, but you'll notice the slight delay. But considering how much hassle it saves you from remembering logins, this is a very convenient feature.

Truth be told, fingerprint access is probably more geeky-novel than an everyday computing necessity. Like I said, everything can be done via the master password, and you can do all the things Sony's fingerprint access software does with either Windows built-in functions (screensaver and file encryption) or free software (e.g., Roboform). Is the novelty factor worth the price? For a gadget freak like myself, it is, because it's just so cool to use your finger to access your own PC. Oh, of course, you do get about 115MB of storage on the flash drive. BTW, Sony's flash drives are really reliable, which is a good thing in itself, of course. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Sleek, but problems in a busy environment
As others say, the device is small and easy on the eyes. I express caution with regard to critical purposes such as servers and IP telephony; we have experienced some weird problems with this. We have three (Netgear FS608 v2) in two locations; two connected to a 24 port Dell switch and the third I think connects to a Cisco 3524. They may intermittently refuse to forward frames from just one source to just one destination while allowing frames from that same source to other destination, weird stuff like that. Reset takes a power cycle OR just unplug the uplink cable and reconnect. It's a real nuisance if it means you have to drive to work on a weekend or an IP telephone call goes "blip" into la-la land. I'm sure they have a limitation on the size of the MAC address cache but I have not so far researched it. Beware using little switches on big networks! (That sounds like a grade b movie title!)

5-0 out of 5 stars Great
This replaced my 4-port Netgear Hub. Fast, great looking; it now matches my silver computer. My only problem is that now the cables are in the back, and the weight of them tends to pull the switch backwards and nearly off the desk. No big deal though.

5-0 out of 5 stars Works flawlessy
I've had it for a month. It does what it should. No problems easy to set up. What I like is the tiny size compare to the previous generation of switches.

5-0 out of 5 stars Stylish AND Easy to Use
What can I say, this is one stylish switch! Looks sweet. I purchased it for LAN parties at my house and I have to say that I am not the least bit disappointed. The unit itself is very handsome and very well built. Truly plug and play with newer OS's like Windows 2000 and Windows XP...no software setup required whatsoever. When I use it, I usually have 4 computers hooked up to it (there are a total of 8 ports, so 8 computers for LAN only, 7 for LAN + Net) and then one of the ports acts as the uplink/downlink to my SMC Barricade via a 100 ft. CAT 5e cable and then the SMC Barricade connects to my RCA Cable modem. Again, nothing to set at all! Very easy to use. No problems when gaming for hours on end :) The box also includes a VERY nice standing bracket which actually works! Wow, first time I've gotten a standing bracket that actually HOLDS the hardware in a vertical position stably. This switch is highly recommended for those of you who want a stylish, easy to use, well built, well designed, and truly plug and play switch. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Switch! But runs HOTTT!
Features 8 ports of 10/100 Full-duplex ability. It comes in very durable metal casing and feels somewhat heavy. It is truly plug and play. Compared to my generic (TrendNet 5-port 10/100 full-duplex switch) it blows it out of the water. I get better pings across my home network and when loaded with 7 computers transfering files at 100mBits full-duplex it shines! The only con is that it runs HOT! Be sure to place it where it can breathe and not next to anything heat-sensitive.

5-0 out of 5 stars Netgear's FS-108: a 1st class switch at a fantastic value
This 10/100 megabit switch is great if you are starting to feel the squeeze of a 10 megabit network. If you're like me, it getting pretty old moving huge scanned pictures and other large files around the home LAN. At 10 megabits, it typically took me 20-30 minutes to get a CDR worth of scanned images over to my CDR writing machine for backup. Well, not any more!

Since I hooked up my FS-108, I can move a CDR worth of images or MP3 files (650 megs worth) in about 3-4 minutes instead of that 20-30.

This switch is a piece of art. Built like a tank, incredibly solid and small for what it does. No fan, so it makes no noise whatsoever. The switch hooked up painlessly and worked flawlessly from the get-go.

4-0 out of 5 stars it's good, but pls get 2A power supply instead
I purchased this switch 3 years ago
happy with it, however, the supplied power adaptor seems not to provide enough current, it runs hot
it seems to have more current power adaptor to run (at least 2A, do not use the supplied adaptor)
now I install it vertically on the wall, just warm to touch (just use 3 out of 8)
for more stable operation, a stronger power supply is recommended (at least 12-15V 2A)

5-0 out of 5 stars Great and solid performance
An incredible product, currently running on a home linux network, works great and stays up and working for long, even for burning CD-ROMs through NFS... Great product!

5-0 out of 5 stars Why buy Netgear over Linksys?
...I ordered a Netgear FS-108 which worked perfectly out of the box and has continued to work without one single hitch ... I'm about ready to buy another Netgear unit and the warranty ... is five years on the Netgear versus one on Linksys. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Very disappointing
After years of using a 10/100 hub I decided to "upgrade" to a switch. Expecting a good product from Linksys, especially since they were acquired by Cisco, I purchased the SD208 8-port 10/100 switch. I put it on my network and the problems began. Any time I would attempt to transfer large volumes (1GB+) of data between two of my PC's the switch would freeze up on me and I'd have to unplug it and plug it back in to regain network connectivity.

I've put old reliable hub back in place and I'm returning the Linksys back to Amazon. I think I'll give D-Link a try. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars OK KVM
I am using this KVM with a Mac & a PC and my MS Intellimouse Optical USB is not recognized on the Mac side unless I plug it into the peripheral ports on the back of the KVM and NOT the mouse port on the front of the KVM. The PC side seems to recognize the mouse just fine.

This is actually more inconvenient than it sounds since the KVM's rear USB ports are really designed to be used with printers and other peripherals that one wishes to share between the 2 computers and they can be switched seperately. Therefore if one wants to use the peripherals the mouse will also be switched over which is extremely inconvienient.

Plus this KVM is not that inexpensive and I expect full functionality when spending this amount of $$s.

5-0 out of 5 stars So far, So good
In setting up a Home Office, I sought an easy means to switch between a WinXP box and Apple System. This gave me that and more. I highly recommend the unit for anyone attempting to cut down on wire clutter and empower themselves with a one-click method for switching in between systems and operating systems. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars This thing stinks!!
If you want a device to make your computer to freeze, and not startup, this is the device you are looking for! Oh and did I mention that some of my devices didn't even work on it? And it is UGLY! This is my first and last product from "Macally"! Don't make the same mistake I did!

4-0 out of 5 stars good combo hub, but doesn't integrate the two
This single hub has three firewire jacks, four usb 2.0 jacks, and 1 usb 2.0 upload jack. Don't let the earlier review lead you astray -- This will not let you use USB 2.0 devices through a firewire port. The firewire connections are separate from the USB connections and if you want both you need to connect two wires from the hub to your computer, one to the USB interface in your computer and another to the firewire interface.

Otherwise it's nice looking and seems to work well enough.

5-0 out of 5 stars I don't think it can do that
This is the only hub I can find that has both USB and Firewire ports, which makes it a cheap sort-of docking station for a laptop.

... I don't think it is possible to upgrade to USB 2 simply by plugging in a USB 2 hub into a USB 1.1 port. The bus controller speed is still 1.1 on the actual computer, so the signal will slow down when it hits the USB port on the Cube. Sorry.

5-0 out of 5 stars JUST WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED!
This thing is great, I have a Mac Cube and always wish I could have USB 2.0 and couldn't put a upgrade card in my machine. This is the way around it. This is a perfect solution to the problem! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Easy setup, works like a charm!
First of all, the current picture of a black hub is mistaken - the box looks like the other current linksys routers / hubs with the bright blue and black plastic box design.

That having been said, this hub worked perfectly out of the box. It is used to network among machines running Windows 98, Windows 2000, and Linux, using a variety of ethernet cards (3Com, Linksys, NetGear). It has been used several weeks now without a problem. Setup took minutes!

Besides this item, I have bought and used several Linksys products before, including several 4-port hubs, a 4-port router, PC network cards and a laptop card. All of these have worked flawlessly with the other network equipment I have used. In some cases they replaced an item that cost 3-6 times more yet did not work as well!

I noticed some other users have had issues with this product, so here are a few pointers about networking that might help:

1) Hubs allow computers to talk to connect to each other on a local network. All a hub does is allow a computer which is set up to be on the network to talk to another computer.

2) To create a local network that can talk to the internet, you either need to buy an IP address for every machine and use a hub, or use a router to allow multiple computers on the internal network to look to anyone on the internet as having a single IP address. (Don't forget the cable/DSL connection & modem.)

3) The maximum speed that the hub supports may be 100 Mbps, but the speed is limited by the speed of the ethernet card as well! Some ethernet cards are only rated for 10Mbps - so that is the maximum connection speed you'll get using them.

1-0 out of 5 stars Never buy Linksys product if you may need technical help
I have linksys 4-port router and 8-port hub at home. Both has the capacity for 100MB ethernet. But when I transfer files from two computer locally, the maximum speed I can have is 10MBit although the 100MB LED indicators are on for both computers. I tried to call Linksys many many time, but never got through. I really hate their customer service. It seems they never want to provider technical support to customers. I strongly recommend not to buy any network products from Linksys.

1-0 out of 5 stars never buy from linksys
Linksys is an extremely unreliable company that does not want your business. I would never recommend a purchase of any product from Linksys. I purchased a Linksys Etherfast 8 port 100 Base-TX Hub Model No: FEHUB08W that recognized both my computers, but not my SURFboard cable modem. So, I think to myself, "This has to be a compatibility problem." I began by checking the Linksys web site. I could not find any indication that there might be compatibility issues with this hub. It was then, at about 6:30 p.m. Eastern Time on February 6, that I decided to call the technical support number. I called the technical support number - which by the way is not a 1-800 number - and got the message that things were busy, "please hold." I patiently waited on hold for several minutes when another message informed me that technical assistance is very busy. They would return my call later. I was given the option to leave a message, or to remain on the line and speak with an operator. I decided to remain on the line and talk with the operator. The phone rang for the operator several times and then went to the message system. I was determined to speak with someone in person, so I hung up my phone and called back. The phone rang. I again got the message that the technical support people were busy. After several minutes I was again presented with the option to leave a message or speak with the operator. I again selected to speak with an operator. When the operator answered the phone he did not say, "hello." The line was simply open, so I spoke to see if anyone was there. He stumbled several times, placed me on hold and then finally came back to get my information. Interestingly, he called up my record from the previous fall (I was impressed), called me by name and I gave him the details of my new problem. He assured me that someone would return my call. I asked how long the return call would take, figuring that I could give him my work number for a call-back the following day, but he assured me that it normally only took a couple of hours. And so, I confirmed with him by saying, "Someone will call me back this evening?" He replied, "Yes." I kept the phone line open all evening, but I did not receive a return phone call. At about 9:30 p.m. that evening (February 6) I decided that I would also send an email in hopes that it would prove more efficient. At least I could more completely explain my predicament. I also included on that email my home phone, work phone and email address. The return phone call from the Linksys technical support finally arrived the following day, Wednesday, February 7 at 3:22 p.m. Eastern Time. The message said, "Linksys technical support returning a call for Bill regarding the hub. If you're still having a problem give us a call back. As a reminder always verify that you're getting a link light on the hub and that you're using the category 5 straight through cable. If you're still having problems give us a call back. Thank you." Well that seemed pretty straightforward. I was using a category 5 straight through cable and my problem was that I could not get a light at the uplink port on the hub. I decided that I should call back, so at about 5:30 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, February 7 I made another long distance telephone call to Linksys technical support. Yes, you guessed it. I waited again patiently only to discover that all the technicians were busy. An operator came on the line and offered to take my message. I explained to this young lady that I had called the previous night. She was unable to find my information, so she took the information again. I asked her how long it would take for a return phone call. She responded that I should receive a call in about an hour. I chuckled, but took her at her word. At 11:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, February 7, I decided that I was not going to receive any assistance from Linksys technical support. I decided instead that I would go online and purchase an Asanté 10T Hub/8 of my own. I had borrowed an Asanté hub. It worked like a charm. It might be older technology. It might be a slower hub technology, but it's hard to beat success, right? I did receive a return call from Linksys technical support finally. They called me back this morning Friday, February 9 at 11:15 a.m. Unfortunately, I was at work and so I discovered the following message on my answering machine when I returned home this evening. "Hi this message is for Bill. Bill this is Linksys tech support Call us back at 1-800-326-7114 reference number 0103-0337 and when calling us back please have the model number of the Linksys product ready." Well, finally a 1-800 number to call and actually, I'd already supplied the company's technical support personnel with model number of my Linksys hub three times now. My new Asanté 10T Hub/8 arrived and it works fantastic, so I packed up my Linksys hub accompanied by a long letter detailing my experiences and I mailed it to the company president, Mr. Victor Tsao, on February 10, 2001. Guess what? I have never received a response from him either. Linksys is an unreliable company and it does not want your business, so I would never recommend that you purchase anything from Linksys.

5-0 out of 5 stars Simple, Fast, everything as advertised
Very simple to set up, just plug in the power, and plug in each network cable. Great for a small, or home office where you have a mix of 10 and 100 Mbps computers.

I have 1 computer at 10 Mbps, a cable modem router, and 5 other computers at 100 Mbps, and everything works great.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great for home or games. Not so great for professional use.
I run a NT 4.0 server at home (getting ready to upgrade to 2000 server) with 4 Win98, 1 NT 4.0 and 1 Win2000 Pro workstations plus a 3 port print server. I used it for about 2 weeks and upgraded to a full duplex switch. As long as I was playing games with my kids or working with small files it was great. But when it came to working with massive files (firewire video capture in the GB range) or transferring large quantities of small files (photo albums), the half duplex mode was just too slow. The full duplex switch I upgraded too speeded things up considerably but at 3 times cost. ... Read more

The Netgear FS-105 Port 10/100 autosensing switch simplifies 100 MBps switching technology for the small-office marketplace. This product provide a way to instantaneously boost network performance while preserving your network infrastructure, including installed cabling and desktop software and hardware.

All five ports automatically sense speed, installation is Plug and Play, and each connection can easily be upgraded from 10 to 100 Mbps. Each port provides dedicated 10 or 100 Mbps bandwidth for connecting PCs, servers, and hubs. In full duplex mode, each port supports up to 200 Mbps of throughput.

The switch supports n-way autonegotiation, and each port automatically senses and operates at the proper duplex mode while built-in LEDs clearly indicate port status. These features take the burdens of configuration, installation, and troubleshooting off the user.

The switch is Plug and Play, so there's no software to configure. The switch is protocol independent and is compatible with all popular networks such as the Internet, TCP/IP, NetWare, Windows, and LANtastic. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Fast router, flexible, design is a bit uncomfortable for me.
I originally had a hub, and when I realized that I wasn't getting anywhere near the throughput I would get with a switch, the obvious choice was netgear. the switch is fast, slick looking, and has LED's to tell you everything about your connections. the downside? design. the ethernet cables plug into the front of the unit, while the power cord plugs into the back. the problem here is that if your ethernet cables are as flexible as warm butter, they get in the way of the led's or each other. when i plugged three cables in, the box sat to the side because the weight of the cable held up up. if you are going to wall mount the unit (it comes with screws to do so) then that might help, but if you are going to set it on your desk, the ethernet cables have to run from the front of it, instead of behind... the unit also gets warm, so make sure you have clearance on all sides so it gets air. otherwise, despite the design issues, the product is slick. has led for 10/100mb, full duplex, collisions, and the 5th port doubles as an uplink.... for fast networking netgear makes a quality product.

5-0 out of 5 stars A good, solid switch. A little nicer than others.
With switch prices coming down to about $10-per-port, it's hard to justify buying anything less than a 10/100-switch for all but the most cost-conscious buyer.

As most 5-port 10/100 switches have the same capabilities and cost about the same, there's not much to distinguish one from another. Still, I particularly like the Netgear FS-105 5-port switch. Like other products from Netgear, this switch is a little nicer than the competition because it has:

- Nice sturdy metal construction instead of plastic. The case also has a grounding tab in case you're using the switch in a (electrically) high-noise environment.

- Connection status indicators built into the jacks, so you can easily tell which cable is connected and is active. (The "vistajack" feature.)

- Right-angled barrel power connector which reduce the likelihood of disconnecting power accidentally.

- An easy-to-access switch to toggle port 1 between station mode and uplink mode. Unlike some hubs where two jacks are wired together, this design prevents accidentally shorting a station to an uplink.

- Screw-mount notches on the underside allows for easy attachment to the wall, underside of a counter, etc.

With a 1000-MAC address buffer and 200 Kbytes-per-port packet buffer, this switch can easily handle the typical traffic load of small- and medium-sized networks.

The Netgear product is not the cheapest 10/100-switch (check out the D-Link Fast Ethernet Switch, for example), but for overall design and value-for-money, I still like the Netgear the most.

4-0 out of 5 stars I wish the ports were on the back
I agree with the other reviewers, in that this is a very solid built and reliable product. I've been using mine for six months now and have not had to touch it. It performs very well, as I've ran multiple file transfers simultaneously among four computers and it was amazingly faster than when using an older 10/100 hub.

The one complaint that I have about Netgear switches and routers is that many of them have the ports on the front of the unit instead of the back. If you're installing this in some out-of-the-way place like your attic or basement, or if you're installing in a computer rack where you want everything facing front, this is a non-issue. If you want to put this on your desktop it is a major inconvenience, because the cables coming into the switch will either be strung across the front of your desk, or will snake over and behind the unit. In either case, you have cables on your desktop and it's quite unsightly.

All things considered I'm still happy with the Netgear switch, but if I had it to do over again I would have probably bought one that worked better in my home office.

5-0 out of 5 stars Reliable switch
Sturdy construction in an unobstrusive yet eye-catching package, the FS105 is an excellent workhorse! I have been using one for the past 1 1/2 years without a hitch. Setup is easy and quick so there is very little hassle and headaches involved.

Only one problem is that it tends to run rather warm so I elevate the switch on 2 jenga blocks to allow for better heat dissipation.

5-0 out of 5 stars Good Device, Small Size is a +
I'm not hiding that I like Netgear products for entry level use. This device has a 5th port that you can use in uplink or normal mode. It is very compact with indicator lights for connection and collisions. It is also very reliable. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars What an improvement!
I had an old USB 1.0 hub that was not activating some of my USB devices when I booted my system. I researched the available USB 2.0 hubs and selected the Adaptec XHub7. I am not sorry I did. It was a snap to set up on my Window XP Home Edition system. all I had to do was plug in the USB devices, provide power to it using the included power supply and every USB device connected with no hithches.

It also fits nicely on my crowded desk, and I have not any problems with it like the ones I had with my old USB 1.0 hub. I plan to purchase another one as my system expands.

5-0 out of 5 stars works like a champ...
Not much else to say... It connected as soon as it was pluged in, I've got all 7 ports full, and everything works every time (fast). It's the most attractive piece of hardware on my desk. Benchmarking software shows it to be as fast as advertised. I have no problem with plugging it into AC, as I'd rather not have a laptop power supply running my accesories. I'm buying more.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great looking but has some issues
I just got this for Xmas to replace my undersized Belkin 4 port hub and it looks great. It works fine for most of my peripherals but don't bother hooking up your Soundsticks to it. The music skips about once every 20-30 seconds. It also requires a powercord (adding to the already overflowing powerstrip) unlike the Belkin which will work w/ or w/o external power (in accordance with USB specs I may add). So, I have the soundsticks plugged in directly to my TiBook and then the hub in the other port to all of the other peripherals. I debated returning it but the blekins are not stackable and take up a greater horizontal footprint. Sometimes I just wish I could find one product that did what I needed... ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars 0 Stars - WARNING !!! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
After 2 months, the firewire component of this product short-circuited and fried all connected firewire components including the firewire port on my CPU motherboard. D-link will not accept liability for any damage caused by this malfunction. This hub acted as a conduit for $2500 damage to my computer system. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Five Stars, but it is a 6 port hub
As previously stated the DFB-H7 hub really only adds three additional USB 2.0 ports and 1 additional firewire port. But the hub is perfect if you want your ports closer to you while working. I have my desktop PC under the desk and the hub on top of the desk and it works perfect. I like the DFB-H7 much better than the GE USB 2.0 hub, which is much more compact and will now be used with my laptop. As the packaging says the DFB-H7 is for desktop use.

3-0 out of 5 stars Only 2 additional Firewire ports when using with a computer!
Having a Mac, I want to be able to expand the number of USB & Firewire devices and this seemed like a great choice, 4 USB, 3 Firewire. Perfect. Well not quite. You only get a *total* for 3 Firewire ports, including the one you'd have to hook up to a computer. For USB though, you get 4 USB ports, and one additional port to hook up to the computer. Sure, you don't have to have Firewire connected to a computer, unlike USB, but what would be the point of buying a hub with both USB and Firewire if you weren't going to hook it up to a computer for both things? Just be aware of that if you buy this product. -1 star for misleading product naming, and -1 star for not actually providing 4 total Firewire ports. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars All Hubs are Not Created Equal
I have heard many great things about Griffin Technology products but only sampled them recently when I upgraded my computer. This is a fantastic hub that confirms Griffin's great reputation.

I purchased this hub along with Griffin's PowerWave; they recommend that you use this hub with the PowerWave and the iMic. I'm told that most hubs are asynchronous (irregular) but the USB-Audio hub is isochronous (at regular intervals) -- a must for USB-audio devices.

The hub works as advertised (but two tips: if you are using a Mac and OS 9.1, you should update to 9.2.2; and if you are using the PowerWave or iMic, you should download the PowerWave Control at ...

BONUS: I have a thumbnail drive made by Lexar; it did not work in my old hub (yes, it was a powered hub). But it does work with this hub -- so I don't have to plug it directly into the computer's usb port.

SIZE: you may not be able to tell, but this thing is smaller than most hubs. The four ports are along the back, but the USB upstream connection and power supply are on the side -- so that gives you a sense of scale. The footprint is much smaller than my old hub.

If anyone had told me I'd be excited enough about a hub to write a review, I'd have said they were crazy. ... Read more
