2-0 out of 5 stars PC Mission Joystick
The style & action (at first) of this joystick were great (especially for the price), but after using it for no more than 4 weeks both buttons stopped working. The trigger went first, followed by the thumb button a few days later.

Although I am a fairly heavy gamer, I would not say that I have been particularly hard on either button. I own a more expensive full featured flight stick, but I purchased this joystick simply to have one that would work right or left handed for simple games. Had it lasted longer I would have rated it much higher.

4-0 out of 5 stars Heres what I think.
Ok I am going to give it to you straight. Honestly, for the amount of money it is worth, I thought this joystick was great. For only a two button joystick, it is really good on control, the suction cups stayed in place for me, the buttons have always worked fine, and it handles well to. One thing I really liked with it's compact design, is how the axis are underneath, that way you won't accidently hit them and your vehicle goes crazy. The only down is, well.... it is just a two button joystick. But for the amount of money it is, it is WELL worth it.

I AM A NEW OWNER OF A COMPAQ XP PRESARIO..I HAVE THIS INTERACT PC MISSION JOY STICK FROM MY GRANDSONS OLD COMPUTER...CAN IT BE CONNECTED TO MY COMPUTER AND IF SO..HOW??..WHAT DO I NEED TO DO...RIGHT NOW I DO NOT SEE ANY WAY TO CONNECT...THANK YOU

1-0 out of 5 stars Can not find driver.
I bought two (2) of these Joystick. However, no driver was available. I don't know what to do with them now. My sons want's to play. I want to play. But we have no driver. Interact went out of business and now I am stuck. Don't buy unless you have the drivers for 98,Me and Xp.

3-0 out of 5 stars No frills Joystick
I was looking for something to get with a free Amazon gift certificate I had, so I bought this joystick. It was easy enough to install, and conformed well enough to my hand. After about a year of off and on use, it developed a sticking, which caused my character to constantly be moving to the left. This made games unplayable, and the joystick now decorates a shelf. Not a terrific joystick, but not bad for what I paid for it: nothing. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Joystick at a Wonderful Price
This is a good performance joystick at a very low price. I have seen the other reviews and I think you should try a detection program so your comp. can pick up the new hardware. I found that it was up and running when I started to play Descent 2, anf various Flight Simulator programs. So don't be fooled this is a GREAT joystick at an affordable price.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Flight Simulator Joystick
Using with MS Flight Sim 2002 smoth and accurate much better than the ... Gravis I had with the same program. Full control and buttons programmble on th ebase adn trigger. Very Good for such a low price big companies should pay attection - found it at CNET as a highly recommended Joystick against high priced models it is true. Great Value! Shhhh...!

3-0 out of 5 stars OK, for the money
People who only have one game,(flight sim, racing sim) or just need one for multifuntion, this is a good stick.

5-0 out of 5 stars I don't know why others are complaining!
This joystick is the best joystick I have seen. I originally bought a Microsoft Sidewinder and it was horrible! I couldn't get that to work at all. But this stick works sweet. I can play all my games, such as FS2000 and Daytona. I did experience some calibration problems at first, but if you fool around with the knobs on the base, then you should be in control in no time. It is a good stick and it works on my new PC with Windows XP as well as my old PC with Windows 98. My recommendation is that you get this one. It is worth the money!

1-0 out of 5 stars Wish I had read a few

3-0 out of 5 stars "Cyclone Speaks with Forked Tongue"
First of all, this is a solid, non-wavering joystick that is great for use with basic fire buttons. But take what the instruction manual says with a spoonful of salt. I have tried to program the joystick to work with a basic DOS computer AND with a 98 Windows computer. Neither recognizes the joystick except in the DEFAULT mode. That's an instruction manual program that allows you to use two basic fire buttons only (forget the other 15 or whatever). When you try to program, using several buttons to perform various functions from the keyboard equivalents, either of two things happen. Either none of your games will recognize the joystick at all, or they will only recognize the DEFAULT mode. The problem may be that while the manual instructions are fine to a point, they fail or overlook the most important instruction...how to correlate each program setting with a corresponding game. One game I have... Battle Hawks of the Lucas Arts Air Combat Classics will not recognize the joystick under any condition. IF you want ONLY to use the joystick for basic two fire button use, the joystick will perform admirably. Otherwise, look elsewhere for a joystick and save yourself utter frustration. (Don't expect help online from the manufacturer...Either they have gone out of business or are lying (pun) low.)

2-0 out of 5 stars Great price, but not for everyone.
To get a 3-axis (twisting) joystick at the $20 range is a great find. Especially when other e-comerce sites are selling the same stick at around $40. If that was all there was to it, then nothing more needs to be said. However, if you are looking for something that is comfortable, easy to use, and 100% compatible, then it might pay to spend some more money on a different joystick. This is especially true for a serious flight simmer. I have Windows 98 and even after I downloaded the latest Cyclone driver off of the network, I was not able to make Windows 98 recognize the joystick as anything more than just generic. As far as comfort is concerned, the stick has really rigid movement. With that and the fact that it has a narrow base, I found I had to really press down hard on my desk to keep it from moving around. You can make it work this way, but it does not seem to be as precise as some smoother joysticks.

5-0 out of 5 stars I think this is a great joystick for those great sims.
This joystick is one of the best ones I have ever seen. It is really great for flight simulations. The extra buttons on the bottom are really great. It is much easier than using a keyboard. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't! InterAct is gone!
Lousy quality caught up with them. Web site is gone, along with any hope of working drivers. I imagine they are out of business completely.

3-0 out of 5 stars Needs a life span
Three years is almost like one hundred thousand miles with a computer controller. Unlike the Play Station controllers I've noticed that there simply not meant for the continues wear and tear. After using it through many great years of Final Fantasy VII for PC the touch buttons finally gave way. Oh, well bought another controller and this worked well for three years. Mark my words the best ten bucks ever spent on a computer part. Besides, got an original used Play Station controller that works just fine after five years of use!

4-0 out of 5 stars Its Basic It works I like it
Havn't had a problem with it its worked on gta3 ,all emulators and roms, spiderman, and its good flawless. I have had it for about a yeah paid like 10 bucks for it , it still goes strong.

1-0 out of 5 stars Do not waste you money on this poor excuse for a pad.
I first bought this pad thinking that I could get a cheap all-in-one pad for all my gaming needs. I was wrong. My first disappointment was the shoulder buttons. I hoped that they would be extra buttons, instead they turned out to be extra buttons for E and F. My second dissapointment was when the buttons started to stick. Not a fun thing when you're deep into a critical part of a game. The buttons are bothersome and take too much effort to get them to respond effectively. The directional pad is even worse. Its awkward setup only hindered my gaming progress. Even my four-button Gravis is better than this pad. Do not buy this pad. You get exactly what you pay for. Nothing.

2-0 out of 5 stars Barely Usable
This is my second Propad Gamepad, and it will be my last. Anytime I want to use it, I have to calibrate it every time. That's a nuisance, but not the only problem. If I don't calibrate it, and want to play a computer game that can be played with either keyboards or gamepads, the game always gets screwed up. One of the buttons doesn't do anything at all (and, according to my game, Fifa 99, the button should pass the soccer ball), and two others are switched. The only thing that works properly is the D-Pad. Basically, this is a piece of crap. I can use it, but only when I have to (for playing 2 player games.) The price is really cheap- and you get what you pay for. A really cheap, piece of crap. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars WORKS FOR ME
Have had mine for almost a month and it works great. No trouble at all loading it with WIN98. Loaded it using Serial Port, and have sinced switched it over to USB. Came with a CD and all the drivers. Personally, I haven't experienced any of the problems the others have with this product. Works well with NASCAR 99, Monster Truck Madness II, and Mech Warrior. Solid control and very user friendly when it comes to the steering controls. I also drive with both feet and wearing 10 1/2's they fit fine. I especially like the tilt and telescope capabilites and the way it fits under your legs in the chair. At this price, you won't find a better wheel with pedals, period.

4-0 out of 5 stars It's a Good Wheel.
Alot of the reviews I've read on here have nothing to do with the wheel being bad. Its just that their computers just suck. If you have a decent computer and want a good cheap wheel with pedals than this is the one. Most of the reviews on here make it sound like they were wanting to get all the great functions and capability of a $150 wheel in this $40 wheel. The only problem I had was the tilt. It takes some getting used to. The pedals are alittle light so make sure u have something behind them to keep them from moving. Other than that I see no problems with it. It's worked for all my racing games and even my flight sims. Just remember your going to get what you pay for. IMO You get plenty for your money in this wheel. The button configuration are easily used while driving and you can change the sensitivy of the wheel while playing the game. Its one of the best your gunna find for its price tag.

4-0 out of 5 stars Couldn't beat for the $$$$$$$$$$$
I have owned this wheel for 8 or 9 years, still works, but when I bought it, it was the best deal for the money, comparing $40 to then $90 and up, but today, the best buy on the market has to be Logitech GP force feedback, for $69 and less.
Still for youngsters, the V3 works great, and as long as you don't try to use it as a paper weight, or stand on it it should last as mine has, and we have used it "a bunch"

1-0 out of 5 stars InterAct going out of business or what?
I just bought this wheel at chrstams on SuperSale at Best Buy (with a rebate no less). I openned the box and there was no driver disk. I tried to set it up on my Windows XP and my Windows 2000 and it is asking for the driver disk. I tried the website that is mentioned and it is no longer up and running. I read and news report on line that InterAct was bought out in full last week by Mad Catz, which would explain alot about the poor customer service. I now have two of these wheels that are as good as paper weights without the drivers disk. Stay away - don't bother with this one.

1-0 out of 5 stars Horrible!
This was the first wheel I got, and man, I tell you, it's horrible. Please don't waste your money. There are several bad points. 1) The mounting system. Whoever thought up that idea wasn't very smart. 2) The pedals. The springs go bad in them in about 2 weeks. 3) The overall durability of the wheel. Mine broke after about 3 months. I got another one, and it broke too. I finally said enough and bought a Logitech Wingman Formula Force GP. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Gamepad Thats Basically Free
I purchased a brand new, still in a sealed box, SV-262A model for $5.

These gamepads are basically being given away for free because the manufacturer, Interact, no longer exists.

I have the SV-262A, which is a Gameport version but came with a Gameport <--> USB adapter.

You will have to hunt down the WinXP driver as it only shipped with Win9X drivers. They are out there and work fine, with the exception of the "Game Profiler". (WinXP driver doesn't support it.)

3-0 out of 5 stars Good hardware, bad support
I was looking for a joystick with enough buttons to play some games that would cause a keyboard to lock up but with a D-Pad because I was more comfortable using one in most situations. This one works very well for that purpose. It's also very easy to configure the two analog pads for various things, including control of the mouse or 4 analog axes. It's easy to set the D-Pad directions to act like regular buttons or remap the buttons. There are more than enough buttons in various places so you should have no problem configuring this to work comfortably with any windows game that can use a joystick. In case you cannot tell from the picture, there are two shoulder buttons and two trigger buttons on the top and back. Their positions feel natural to me.

This controller requires no calibration and has no mechanism to shift the center. I've had problems with other joysticks that "flicker" slightly, causing games that do not take into account the degree a joystick is pressed to think I'm pressing the joystick in a direction when I am not. I have had no such problems here.

All of this assumes that you can install it, and installing it is where I had problems. I bought this used and the software was not included. It appears the InterAct site has been down for a while, and I had to go on a wild goose chase to find the drivers. Also, windows NT was not originally supported so if you have a version of NT or XP, you'll have to find the drivers online. So if you buy this, make sure you have the software for the correct operating system first (this is model SV-282, possibly with an extra letter at the end), or that it's included and you're running windows 9x.

For reasons unknown, I haven't been able to get the keyboard mapping to work. The email address the software includes for support was unreachable. If keyboard mapping, macros, or auto-fire is a major reason you're shopping for this thing, or the idea of not having someone to badger with your problems worries you, you may want to go with a newer, better-supported product. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars OLD GAME CODES ARE USELESS!!!
These game codes are from 1999, and ANY or ALL games made AFTER 1999, aren't on this Gameshark!!! DON"T BUY THIS GAMESHARK for the price. The 2002 Gameshark is 5.0 {up to date}. This Gameshark is 3.0 , USELESS!!! { the 3.0 etc. is on the back of the box , on a white sticker}

3-0 out of 5 stars O.K...just follow the directions...
This product is great for beginner gamers...as long as you follow the directions...if you don't...then you will MESS UP YOUR SAVED GAME!!! But, if you pay attention...and don't try to get around the rules...then this could be a great product! the gameshark is good if...you are stuck in your game and con't win even with the help of a walkthrough...you just like to cheat...you are an experienced gamer who just wants to see what its like to take the easy way around...ect...ect...ect...

5-0 out of 5 stars awsome
eveyone else is lying because this thing kicks... and i just love it because it is really [dang] cool. I reccomend this because it helps out a lot.

3-0 out of 5 stars Good And Bad
i think that this gameshark is very helpful. i mostly use it for Driver 2, but thats just because its the most recent game i bought. All of the other reviews on here state that it freezes the game. for the first 3-4 hours for me, it didnt freeze at all. But then it did. and it wouldnt stop, or let me do anything. and when u have to restart, you lose all your unsaved game settings and data, and you have to reload through the gameshark, just so it can freeze again. i think its worth buying this though, because you probably cant find a better one. I wouldnt recommend buying it used though. If you decide to buy it, then buy it here, or somewhere that has it for the same price, or even less. I would also recomend that u should check to see if gameshark is coming out with a new version, without these glitches.

2-0 out of 5 stars Mediocre
Re-doing my last Review, after working with the program for a little while found its capabilities to be mediocre but not ground breaking. Again, using the codes the have been pre-entered are extremely limiting and some dont even work, causing your game to crash. An improvement I found though not very good is that, yes, you can input codes you have found off the net and such, but too many will automatically freeze the game, whether in 2 minutes or maybe up to an hour, I managed to only get 4 codes I desired onto one game, dont limit yourself, This Gameshark is not the best out there, keep looking is my suggestion. ... 2-0 out of 5 stars DCA Star
First thing is 1st, it only really has 4 buttons. Those top 4 are turbo buttons. THEY AREN'T SEPARATE!! Installation was shakey... Spend the extra $10 and go get the Gravis... it's the closest thing to the playstation controller that you'll be able to find. If you want $40 will get you the Xterminator by Gravis... That by far is 3 controllers in 1 !!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Pad, Driver Problem Solved!
I love this pad. I can play my psx games on my comp using Connectix Virtual Game Station, and all the older games using emulators!

For those of you wondering about drivers, you just use the generic "4 button" driver included with Windows. If you want the installation instructions, I found them ... on InterAct's website...

2-0 out of 5 stars Not enough, and why so many turbos?
Well I don't have it, but a couple friends bought piranhas over a year ago. I'd rather have the Gravis GamePad Pro, which has 8 buttons for 8 different functions. Besides, serial-like connection is kinda out of date.

1-0 out of 5 stars doesn't work..
First of all, the directions on the website are better then in the booklet you get. The ones in the book skip over steps and basically make it very confusing, to even the experienced gamer. When I finally got mine to work, the only buttons on my controller that even worked were the direction keys, so I'm returning mine. I never even got to use mine other then making a character walk around, which is boring because I couldnt jump or do anything. I should have went by the other reviews and stayed away from this and just spend more on a better one. Well now I know, and now I have to waste another 2 or more weeks to send mine back ... just to get ...refunded. Let the good times roll.. :(

3-0 out of 5 stars cant find drivers!

4-0 out of 5 stars Great One!!
Recently i bought a SONY portable recorder. To test it out, i took it to my school to record my professors lecture.Without using this microphone, the recording was good, but when i plugged in this microphone to the jack and rerecorded, the results were outstanding.Very good quality at a very affordable price.

5-0 out of 5 stars No hiss, clear sound. Awesome little bugger!
I bought this microphone to record live music and also to record my own music. In the past I used the built-in mic in my mini tape recorder, but there was always a background hiss, and if I didn't have my recorder right near the source it sounded poor. Since the Jensen mic is so cheap I bought it instead of the "earbuds" I was going to buy (which would have done the job, but they aren't meant for taking IN sound). Don't let the price fool you, this microphone is EXCELLENT. 95 percent of the hiss during silence is gone, and during music there is no hiss. Everything sounds clear. It even picks up the sound of me quietly humming all the way across the room. Not many cheap mics can do that. Plus it clips on to almost anything. A very worthy investment.

4-0 out of 5 stars Not bad
How can you beat the price on this microphone? Quality is fine and I haven't had any problems with it.

5-0 out of 5 stars This Is An Ideal Mic For Me
I bought this item here at Amazon an astounding 4 years ago for only $.... I never would have imagined it would hold up as long as it has. Some people reported a buzzing sound with their mic, but not me. This mic may not be useful for voice recognition software, but for general use, like recording wavs or participating on online audio chats, it is first rate. This mic has gotten banged around over the last 4 years, but still works like a charm and performs admriably. Few deals get as good as this. The price has went up two bucks, but its still a bargain and I would say to you.. Get this mic!

2-0 out of 5 stars You Get What You Pay For
The quality of sound recorded is poor because recordings done with the mic have a background hissing noise. It's a good deal for a few dollars but if you're looking for a quality microphone, you're better off looking for another product. ... Read more
