Worth every penny
This was a very hard item for me to track down, since everybody advertised it, but no one stocked it.

It fits the Ipaq like a glove and using standard Franklin Covey pages, is highly useful.

The only improvement I would make is to move the strap on the bottom of the Ipaq over so I could plug in a USB cable without removing the device from the case. ... Read more

This is a good combination. I just moved to a palm and found it hard to move from complete paper to the palm. Now I can keep up with note taking and enter them later. This also has slots for credit cards and paper. It a great item for a business professional. I'll admit the use of the palm is supposed to lessen or negate the paper amount. A Bit Bulky, But Nice
I bought the Franklin Covey Palm V Black Leather Zip Case from a Franklin Covey store about three months ago. Here is what I have found to be the stregnths and weaknesses of the case: Shrengths: The case fully zips and offers great protection from weather and dirt. The case has a great deal of padding, which protect in the event of drops. In my opinion, I believe this case would protect against drops better than hard cases, as long as it is closed. The shape and anchor of the case fit very well. The leather has a nice feel. The case is well crafted so the buttons do not easily get accidentally pressed when the unit is closed. Weaknesses: The leather and padding add signifigantly to the size of the unit. It is no longer easy to slip in my pocket. I also worry about the screen protection (for packing or sitting on the unit). The case is stiff, but flexable. One final weakness is that the inside of the front cover has a pocket that begins about an inch from the top of the cover. The edge of this double layer of leather rubs my screen. Because I use a screen protector, it just rubs out the texture of the screen protector forming a smooth line. Not a big deal, but I thought I would mention it. The attachment is the same size of the Palm Vx
I went into my FC Store and told them about the review that the attachment got. Since I am in the process of buying a Palm Vx, I wanted to make sure that the attachment fit. They were extemely helpful. They took the attachment out of the package and let me put it in my Pocket Planner and it is a perfect fit! They said that the person who wrote the previous review may have had the attachment for the Palm III, which wouldn't have fit properly in the Pocket Planner.

I just wanted to let you know my experience. As for seeing if the Palm Vx will fit in my Zipper Pocket without appearing too bulky remains to be seen.

The attachment DOES fit the Pocket Planner.

Not for Pocket size planner
It's advertised as fitting all the different sizes of Franklin planners. Yes, it probably fits all the hole patterns, but in the Pocket size planner the Palm sticks out of the planner cover about a half inch. Not an ideal application. No calender included, butit is OK with Palm.
I bought this product after I bought Franklin Covey software for Palm Vx. The latest software works very well with Microsoft Outlook and Palm Organizer, and I decided to try the famous Franklin Covey System.

The product was good, but no calender included. If you need paper calender, you should buy another one from Franklin Covey. But if you use the calender on Palm, that is OK.

the quality of the case is not so good, but woeks.

Overall, this is good as starterkit. If you find this does not work for you, you can quit anytime without hundreds dollar investment.

Slim, light, soft leather, very convenient clip
Makes the Palm way more useful -- it's always with me now.
The wallet is great -- it can take in all the important plastic, plenty of space for cash, the railing for the palm keeps it in place. The clip is great! My boyfriend has the wallet from Palm and he is switching to mine now. The clip is not getting in the way, very quick and easy to use.

nice looking and good quality, but low capacity
If you want to use this case as a wallet and, like me, you usually carry a lot of stuff in your wallet (a couple of IDs, supermarket cards, business cards, etc.), it won't be your best choice. It has only 4 slots for cards and no ID slot. If you fill all 4 slots with cards, the wallet gets fat and it looks like the cards could damage (or at least scratch) the screen of the Palm.

What I also didn't like - the Palm is attached to the wallet with its left side only (its right side is loose). So, when you open the wallet, Palm tends to flip similar to an ID insert in a ordinary wallet.

But in general the quality is very good, the leather is soft, also because the wallet is padded.

A steal
I was pleasantly surprised when this item arrived. I recommend this item for someone who doesn't carry a lot of cards in his/her wallet. I carry six "cards" including my license. This wallet has four sleeves and two hidden pockets. The billfold has a vent that makes it easy to place and retrieve $$. I also own the Palm brand "slim case" and while the while the overall quality is comparable to the Franklin, the "tuck-in" flap on the Palm brand hangs over the screen when you use your Palm V. The Franklin wallet has small snaps that stay out of the way.

This product has everything.
Okay, so I was looking for a palm V case. I decided I might as well combine my wallet and palm holder. Good idea! It works great for me. Palm access, with everything that I usually carry in one. China special
This case looks great and is a nice design. However, the case is GLUED together in parts. Throw a little warm weather at it and it will start t separate. IT's just another junky "Made in China" case - should cost about $5. Buy a Handspring neoprene case and forget about your worries-thats quality!

Meets all of my needs
No nasty velcro! Velcro fasteners were definately a turnoff from purchasing other cases. This one gives my IIIe plenty of protection and padding! For some people it might be a little bulky...it fits well into a brief case or handbag, but definately not pocked sized. ... Read more
