Perfect, only missing one thing
I had been searching for something like this for a long, long time. I had seen what were basically breakfast trays made out of some space age plastic yet foldable, however they usually cost at least ($), which I felt was really ludicrous. This fits the bill nicely. It's cheap, comfortable, and gets the job done.

It is much longer than I expected, so you can even use it for full-size keyboards or as a mouse pad alongside your laptop. Unfortunately that is one of the only problems that I have with the item; it's not very portable. The other major downfall is that there are no restraints or edges on three of the four sides, so if you lean over, you have to make sure to hold on to the computer or else it will easily fall forward. I love it!

Not recommended
I bought a Creative Products Computer Lap Desk (identical to the one shown, except it is hunter green) in a local mall and noticed that my computer tended to move on the surface. Once, when I shifted position, it nearly slid off and onto the floor! Examining the desk, I noticed that the plastic surface was convex and that the four rubber feet on my laptop computer were not touching. Very risky placing a $3500 computer on this thing. ...
