Piece of junk
The bearing between the upper and lower blades is made of plastic--designed to wear out after a short period of use, and it does.I will replace mine with a Braun or similar well-made brand.

Best features and most expensive "disposable" on the market
I purchased this trimmer for my husband a couple of years ago for Christmas. Until then, he had not used any kind of "power tool" on his beard. He was very pleased from the beginning. About a year ago the moving cutter blade began losing its teeth. At first is was just a couple of them, but now he only has a couple of them left, making it nearly impossible to use effectively. I have returned several times to the place I purchased it in hopes of finding a replacement. No such luck. I have as of yet been unable to locate one anywhere and am considering tossing it and getting a new one. "disposable" defined. Super Phone
It's a terrific value. The reception is excellent and it's comfortable to hold and talk on. It's sleek and attractive. I would recommend this item.

Nice Design / Painful Handset
Anyway, when I saw this, it really caught my eye. It has a classic design. The price wasn't bad either. The push buttons with the rotary style is a nice detail. One drawback is that the receiver is very heavy. The shape of the receiver makes it difficult to put the phone on your shoulder to talk hands-free. I did that on the receiver slipped, hitting me in the lip and teeth. OUCH!

Looks and sounds great. Feels like a Conair.
We have a 1941 house in California complete with a little phone shrine in the kitchen, and nothing but an old fashioned phone could live up to the special little nook. For $19.99 (at an electronics store) I have the look. And the sound. It sounds like a dramatic phone ring in an old movie. The only thing it doesn't have is that twenty pound heft I associate with real old phones. Looks and sounds old, but feels like a Conair.

Classic Phone with a Modern Twist!
The appearance of the phone is authentic and you still have the ease of buttons rather than the rotary dial. I can't get over the flawless, authentic apperance. This telephone is "neat".

Feel like Myrna Loy when answering the phone!
Ever since I started watching old, black and white movies, I've wanted a 1940's style phone, but the refurbished, authentic ones can be really pricey. I was delighted to find this nifty reproduction at Target. It looks like a rotary dial but has buttons, and has a real mechanical bell ringer, which I love.

I bought a 25 ft base-to-handset cord (the one that comes with the phone is quite short) because I like to wander around. I thought I'd miss having memory dial and features like that, but I don't, really. The great design of the phone makes up for that.

My one tiny little beef is that the handset is not easy to wedge between your ear and shoulder if you need both hands for a moment. But don't let that stop you from buying this cute little phone. ... Read more

Not that straight
This is a good iron to use if you just want to wear your hair down and not too bushy or curly. I have thick curly/wavy hair, and when I use this product, it doesn't seem to be hot enough to get all the kinks out of my hair. It is good, but if you want your hair to be super sleek, I suggest going with a good ceramic flat iron

I love it!
I have wave in my hair and this product takes it right out! It not only straightens my hair but it also makes it shinier and takes 99% of the friz away. The comb on the side really helps with straightening the hair so if you are in the market for a flat iron, I would definitly pick this one, or one with a comb attatched. I wouldn't suggest this product for someone with a lot of wave or curl because like someone else said, it doesn't get REAL hot unless it's on for a good while.

A Definate Don't For Thick Hair
This straightener is great for thin hair... but not for thick. I myself have very thick hair and this straightener usually leaves my hair looking frizzy and very poofy. The best hair straighteners out there are about 1" thick or less and they normally have glass plates. So if you have thick hair, spend a little more money on something with a lot more quality.

JUST FLAT OUT DON'T BUY!!
i bought this straightener because everyone said it was wonderful and it was at a great price...BUT LOOKS CAN BE DECIEVING!! this straightener pulls my hair, it doesn't get very hot, it's kind-of uncomfortable to hold, and it DOESN'T STRAIGHTEN MY HAIR!!!

I don't think so. I bought this straightner because I have some curls around my face that never go away, even when I blow-dry my hair stright. The iron took a long time to get hot and, there were no heat settings so, it was either much to hot so, it was burning my hair or not quite ready so I'd have to wait or go over the same spots many times.
