Amazon.com Review

This unit can be used to steam open pores for cleansing skin and to steam openclogged nasal and sinus passages. The versatility comes from two translucent, blue, plastic cones. The large cone is 6-3/4 inches wide and has a flared, open side toaccommodate the face, chin, and neck for cleansing. The small cone is 3-1/2 inches wide,so steam is directed into the nose where it can be breathed in during allergy and coldseason. Operating the steamer is simple: using the included measuring tube, pour tapwater into the power base's reservoir; twist on and lock into place either of the tubes;switch on the unit with the on/off button; and wait about three minutes for the water toheat. For controlled cleansing sessions there's a timer than can be set from 3 to 15minutes. And for safety the unit automatically shuts off after 45 minutes.--Fred Brack ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars I'm a believer
Okay, truth be told, this is not the exact model I have. I received the model 3701AXA for Christmas. I guess you would say that I have the baseline model of this machine. No frills, no added features, just the plain steam spouting conical facial spa.

I was skeptical about how effective this little machine would be. I washed my face with biore warming facial cleanser as I waited for the steam to begin. I placed a towel over my head to keep as much steam in as possible. Immediately, I could feel my pores opening up and my face feeling that numb, clean, tingly feeling. After a while sweat began to fall off of the tip of my nose. Normally, this would be an uncomfortable thing, but it was almost like I could feel the impurities leaving my face.

About half way through the container of water, I went to the bathroom to look in the mirror. What do you know? I could hardly see any impurities in my pores! Even the little dark pores in the crevice between my bottom lip and my chin were gone. (I have been trying to get rid of those for some time now.)

I decided to wash my face again with biore since my pores were so completely opened up. Then I went back to the spa to let the steam remove any remaining residue from the cleanser. Once all the water had left the container, I decided I was finished. I went back to the bathroom and splashed cold water on my face to close my pores while they were so refreshingly clean.

Overall, I would rate this experience as a 9 out of 10. I feel so clean and relaxed. I never write reviews, but I am just in awe of this little machine. My face looks and feels so soft! I would guess that I will be using this machine at least once a week.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DEVICE!

(Again, I am using just the basic model, but I would think that any other model would be at least this great, if not better. Steam is steam, right?)

5-0 out of 5 stars Won't regret on buying this product!
I received this about a week ago and just used it for the very first time. I have never purchased a facial spa or facial sauna before. I chose this is because Conair's quality never disappoint me and this has the smaller cone for sinus relief. I have bad allegies during winter and spring seasons. Now, I don't need to jump into the shower to relief my sinus problems. It is easy to use, easy to clean and it heats up fast.

After using the facial sauna for 8 minutes, I put on the mask. I found it a lot better than just using the mask on cleansed face only. By using the facial sauna, it opened up the pores.

I didn't regret on purchasing this product and I highly recommend it!

4-0 out of 5 stars USE A TOWEL!!
Upon first use, I was very dissapointed. There was very little steam generated by this machine. I decided later give it a second chance. After all, if there was any more steam being created, it would burn the skin!! After using a towel to cover my head I was more pleased with this spa. Keeping the steam contained with the towel helped me to feel the steam. I am happy with this purchase and I will be using it every night.

3-0 out of 5 stars Well Made - BUT it made my face ERUPT!!!!
This was great when you use it- that is if you can use it. If you plan on using everyday then it's a great buy, other than that it will sit in the corner. Mine is currently collecting dust because I do not have the time to spare. Clean up and set up is easy. If you plan on purchasing from Amazon, I know local department stores have it for the same price and it comes with a pure cleaner. Overall great but I had one problem- I started breaking out when I used this. After I discontinued using the steamer - my face is back to normal. So if you plan on buying it thinking it will clear your face- becareful you might be like me and react otherwise. Try a pan and see if that works- if so then purchase this.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good for a cool mist, bad for a real steam
This is a very well built product, but it simply does not get hot enough or generate enough steam for my tastes.

The product seems very sturdy, it has a built in timer, the two cones are easy to attach, and ~3 minutes after starting, it beeps and generates a steady supply of steam. If you are looking for a gentle supply of steam to either lightly steam your face or open nasal passages, then this product should work great.

If you are looking for something more than a light steam, this product will not deliver. For me, this product does not compare to the feel and steaming ability of a bowl of water (heated to boiling on the ol' stove).

I'm giving this product 4 stars, because I didn't really expect it to generate much steam and it is designed very well. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Maintaining
This is an awsome foot bath! I am a nail tech and I give sevral pedicures a day. This foot bath is one of the best at maintaining the water temprature. The key word is maintaining! Of course you have to put your disired water temprature in the foot bath first. So, if you know to do that this bath will please you.

5-0 out of 5 stars Footspa with Pleasure
For tired feet this footspa is everything. It maintains the heat and has all the relaxing attachments for the ultimate foot massage. With the help of the remote, you can sit back and enjoy the whirlpool jets circulating around your feet. Add a glass of wine and you are all set for you "Ultimate Foot Spa Experience"!

3-0 out of 5 stars Loved spa-hated remote control
I loved the spa when I could get it to work. This foot bath can ONLY be operated using the remote control, therefore if the remote goes so goes your foot bath. I could not get the spa to turn on again if I wanted to use it more than once a day. I turned it on for about 10 minutes then had to run an errand. The machine would not turn on again until the next day!!

2-0 out of 5 stars Not what I expected
I am 6 months pregnant and was in real need of a good warm foot massager. It had all the features but they don't live up to what I thought they would be. The removeable foot rollers are too big and painful as someone else mentioned, I just take them out. The bubbles do splash water all over the floor. There is a feature that says it will maintain the temp. of the water, but it doesn't, it gets cold quick. The manicure massager is ok, but it is in an awkward place. The vibration and the bubbles are nice but that's about it. Also, there should be a selection for bubbles only (without vibration). And there is NO fill line as the directions say!

3-0 out of 5 stars Not bad
It's nice to have a foot spa, but there were a few surprises. This biggest problem is that the "water jet" function, which does indeed feel good, splashes water everywhere. You need to line your chair and the floor for several feet away to keep things dry! Secondly, though the manual refers to a fill line, there isn't one. You have no idea how much water to put in this thing. I've tried lots of levels (nothing gets rid of the horrible splashing with water jets) and have one that works reasonably well, but there was a lot of trial and error involved. Lots of water on the floor too!
Also, the removable rollers are far too large and painful to do any good. Fortunately they are removable. Maybe on a very large foot they'd be okay, but not on a size 8. Ouch! And the "all-purpose" massager is totally useless. The other attachments work fine, but aren't worth extra cost -- you have to twist your foot around on top, and that's somewhat difficult. (Once I figured it out, it wasn't so bad, but it's difficult to rub the side of my toe).
The heat doesn't maintain the water temperature at all, it quickly drops. Start with the water hot and enjoy your ten minutes, that's all.
The vibration and bubble combination gives a very nice tingle on the soles of my feet -- that, I enjoy very much. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Almost perfect
There is no doubt the dual ionic ports of this hair dryer give it an edge over ordinary hair dryers. My hair comes out smooth and silky every time, and you can actually smell the ions... like fresh air after rain. Also, the shape of the nozzle is great for spreading the air over a round brush. But the dryer could use some improvements in my opinion:

1. Give it more power! It is 1875 watts, the same as my ordinary hair dryer, but it just doesn't blow the air as forcefully. That accounts for the quieter tone of the motor, and for the longer drying time.

2. Lose the sparkles. The rubbery surface of the dryer is great for gripping, but it is embedded with little flecks of silver glitter. Last time I wanted glitter on a hair appliance I was using it to try and make my bangs stand up higher than Susie Porter's in 1987.

3. Add a cold shot button. The cool setting works well, but it's a pain to flip the switch back and forth all the time.

Overall, an impressive hair dryer. Not recommended for people with very long or thick hair, since the high setting is still a bit wimpy.

5-0 out of 5 stars An Excellent Hair Dryer With A Stylish Design!
Significantly more quiet than my Conair 1002D model! Even though it is quiet, it blows out a large amount of air. I have shoulder-length hair. This dryer dries my hair fairly quickly.

Unlike some other dryers, this unit allows me to have warm air at high speed. (With some other units I can only get warm air at low speed or hot air at high speed). I like the independent, sliding controls--one for the heat level (cool/warm/hot) and one for the air speed (low/high).

Also, I like the fact that this dryer has 2 ionic ports. My hair feels softer and looks shinier.

My Mom bought this dryer per my recommendation. She also likes it.

I like this dryer so much that I gave my best friend one for her birthday. ... Read more

Built with a motor that's no louderthan a low office hum, this dryer has a sleek, comfortable design andconvenient, versatile functions. Designed to dry hair faster and maximizevolume, the diffuser attaches easily and has a wide, narrow mouth, sothe flow of air distributes to upper and lower layers simultaneously. The unit's hinged filter removes for easy maintenance, and theautomatic shutoff disables power if the dryer falls or gets wet. 3-0 out of 5 stars Some pluses, some minuses
This is my only experience with an ionic hair dryer, so I have nothing with which to compare this one. However, I bought it because I had several expections about its features. Here is how each feature measured up:

Quicker? NO. It may even take a little longer than a standard 1875-watt dryer. The reason is that the fan does not blow very hard. The "high" setting blows about like the "low" setting on a standard dryer.

Reduced frizz/flyaways/static? YES. These are significantly reduced.

Increased shine? YES. My hair is visibly shinier.

Quieter? YES, but qualified. The only reason it is quieter is because it doesn't blow air as hard as a regular dryer.

Freshens hair? YES.

Another drawback: This dryer is very heavy. It took me several days to get used to how heavy it is.

This dryer delivers almost all of what ionic hairdryers promise, but I was mostly hoping for a dryer to speed drying time. If you have thin hair or hair that dries quickly or have plenty of time to dry your hair, then I would highly recommend this dryer. My hair looks shinier and healthier.

5-0 out of 5 stars New shine for the ol' mane
As a child of the Sixties, I still wear my hair long and I blow it dry every morning. When my old Hartman Protech 1600 hair dryer hit the bathroom floor, things weren't the same. Eventually, in a spectacular pyrotechnic display, it breathed its last.

Since I had paid 20 bucks for it way back when, I was ready to spend that much on a replacement. Much to my surprise, in the 10 or so years I'd owned that dryer, a lot had changed, and now the same money buys a lot more hair dryer, so with some dough to spare, I bought one of these.

Many complain that it doesn't pack the same wallop as other dryers but that's a case of perception versus reality. The Conair's barrel has a larger diameter than most dryers and its fan is quieter, so while the perceptible breeze isn't as blustery, it's still moving plenty of air. I know because I use an egg timer to count off 3 minutes while I dry my hair and the Conair never leaves my hair damp (a barber told me that after 3 minutes of blow drying, you're just toasting your hair and not helping it). If you MUST have that scalp-scorching pinpoint blast, Conair includes a concentrator.

Ions are all the rage in hair dryer technology right now. Purportedly, a stream of ions directed at your hair will neutralize static electricity and smooth out frizzy hair. Ions are also claimed to flatten out scaly hair shafts, resulting in more shine. I'm waiting for our good friends at Consumer Reports to weigh in on the benefits (or lack thereof) of "dual ion ports", but after a week of daily use with the ion switch ON, I've noticed that my hair doesn't fight me as much when I brush it into place. Even when the static-charged Santa Ana winds are howling through sunny SoCal, my hair doesn't stick out like porcupine quills. And, yes, if I turn my head from side to side, there's a noticeable shimmer that either wasn't there before or I had never noticed it.

A minor flaw is that the power and ion switches respond to a very light push, but after a couple uses you learn to position your hand accordingly after switching on the dryer. The dryer offers low and high air-speed/heat settings and has a "cool shot" button that cuts off the heater while cranking the fan up to its fastest speed. "Cool shot" is another feature that is said to set a style in place by cooling down the hair quickly.

So, whether ions really do or don't make a difference, the overall performance of the Conair Ion Shine is worth the price.

2-0 out of 5 stars Looks nice until you use it!
I purchased this blow dryer thinking it would be great for the price. However, I went to use it and instantly was frustrated. The On/Off button is right where you hold the dryer, so it constantly switches on and off while using it. Then, it's like 10 pounds! Not such a great purchase afterall.

5-0 out of 5 stars Love it!
I recently bought this dryer because of the great price!
I absolutely love this dryer-It did speed up drying time-my hair is visibly shiny-less flyaways-I love it!
I recommend this dryer to anyone. And for the price you can't beat it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Hair Dryer!
I purchased this item exactly three months ago and I use the dryer about twice a week and it still works great. I have hair that is almost impossible to keep neat--even after brushing for an hour, it will be frizzy and untidy after five minutes. I was so pleased with this dryer!! This dryer is definitely better than one I had bought before--it reduces frizzy hair, dries my shoulder-length hair extremely fast, and is not as noisy as other dryers. I definitely recommend to others! ... Read more

Turn any tub bath into a luxurious massage with this Conair spa. Secure the cushy mat to the bottom of the tub with its suction cups, connect the flexible 8-foot air hose to the power canister, plug in the 6-foot cord complete with ACLI safety feature, and the bath water swirls to life with powerful air jets. When placed on the floor within easy reach, the power canister can be toggled between high, low, and off. A clear-plastic cover protects the switch from wet fingers. The mat measures a generous 46 by 14 inches and conveniently rolls up for storage when dry. The power canister with carry handle measures a compact 10 by 8 inches. 4-0 out of 5 stars POWERFUL...But Not Thermal!!!
If you can't afford a real spa, like me, then this is a fine alternate. If you get the tub surface wet before sticking the mat down, the suction cups will firmly hold the mat in place. I was surprized how powerful the bubbles were. They almost felt like the jets in a big hot tub. The only thing is that this spa is not thermal. Even on the box it said THERMAL in bold, red letters. It's not that big of a problem, though. It's ok if you use soaps and shampoos. You only have to use a little bit of bath gel because the rapid movement of the water makes many soapy bubbles. My daughter dumped the normal amount she uses into the tub and a few minutes later it was overflowing with suds! I didn't believe she only added a little bit. She thought it was funny until I made her clean it up! It's a wonderful spa overall.

5-0 out of 5 stars Cheap alternative to $1000+ hot tub
Boy are the previous reviewers on the soft mat and the earlier Conair spa mat a bunch of whiners! Clearly none of them has ever been in a Jacuzzi equipped tub. Guess what folks, in order to make this many bubbles, the unit's going to make noise. The Conair unit sounds like a small vacuum cleaner plus the added noise of the bubble jets. If this annoys you, don't buy the unit! Also, the bubbles will be blowing in room temperature air. An easy way to compensate is to make the bath water extra hot. I used to own a hot tub, and it pulled in room temperature air as well, so the Conair design is not inconsistent with the way that units costing 50 times as much operate! Give it a whirl, if you're not satisfied, save your receipt and Target will refund your money.

2-0 out of 5 stars A little loud for a 'relaxation spa' simulation
I bought this hoping it might take the place (marginally) of jets in our garden tub. It certainly is powerful and generates lots of activity in the water, but the air is a bit chilly and the pump itself is loud. I blame myself for not thinking enough about the noise level prior to the purchase (in hind site, it seems obvious). In any case, the kids get a kick out of it, so its getting used plenty!

2-0 out of 5 stars Winter Wonderland
At first I was thrilled when my husband got me this for Christmas...he knows how much I like my baths! When I first turned it on I was quite pleased. The jets are very powerful and felt wonderful! However, I soon realized that the air being forced out felt colder and colder until it was really quite uncomfortable.

Also, the mat kind of "floats up" in spite of the suction cups and sticks against my skin in a way that I find annoying, especially considering that the surface feels cold due to the air being shot at you.

Altogether I am disappointed and sad that my present turned out this way. My husband is very disappointed too.

4-0 out of 5 stars If you like to relax in baths, you'll love this!
After reading the reviews on this item, I almost took it off of my wish list. However, when I received this bath spa as a gift this Christmas, I really half expected the bath to suck, with "ice cold" bubbles and hurricane-force bubbles that would all but blow me out of the tub. But guess what? This spa was GREAT!!! I must have left it on for 30 minutes and it barely changed the temperature of my bath water. This is a great gift for anyone who loves to relax in the bath, and it is not any nosier than a regular spa. Enjoy!! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Hair Perfect
I like this dryer, it has three speeds as a well as a cool button that you can use to cool the dryer. that is so neat, also i love how it makes my hair look

5-0 out of 5 stars This dryer is miraculous!!!!
I can't even begin to count the many different products I have bought over the course of my life to straighten my hair. I've even had it professionally straightened, but learned the hard way, that is not a long term strategy.

Just when I was thinking I would just need to accept my waves and frizz, I made another purchase. And thankfully so!

Using the brush attachment, my hair is now dry in 10 minutes when it used to take 30 minutes. And it is as straighter, shinier and smoother then it has ever been. It really works. Buy one ASAP.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fast, quiet, lightweight - A+
I have very long, thick, frizzy hair that is impossible to tame. I had a hair dryer similar to this a few years ago and it has since broken, leaving me to use a standard hair dryer and round brush. After getting REALLY tired of this, I decided to go out and buy this hairdryer. I only had 2 concerns when choosing between various models; the dryer had to have brush/comb attachments to make straightening easier, and it had to be an ionizing dryer. The conair ion shine has 1875 watts of power and double ionic ports for extra conditioning. The dryer is about 12" long and very lightweight. It is also surprisingly quiet! The box contains the dryer, a thermal brush with nylon bristles (this is used for volume control and straightening), a detangling comb (most useful when first drying hair and it's still a bit wet) and a styling comb (very fine toothed comb, good for finishing off your hair). The dryer itself has 2 ionic ports, a cool shot button, low/high settings, an ionic light indicator (this baffles me, because you cannot turn the ionic ports on or off! they are always on...) a soft grip pad, a hinged filter for easy cleaning and dual voltage. I paid $15 for this dryer at my local Target store and it's widely available online as well. I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anybody who's tired of using a traditional dryer and round brush for blow drying! ... Read more

Tired of the dentist urging you to floss just a little more diligently? The path to dentalrighteousness can also be found through "oral irrigation." It's true. The Interplak dental water jetuses powerful pulses (2,650 per minute) to flush food debris from hard-to-reach places betweenteeth and under the gum line, thus preventing dreaded plaque (the leading cause of gingivitis andgum disease). Gentle yet thorough, this jet is an ideal tool for cleaning around crowns, bridgework, and orthodontic braces. It can be used with water, mouthwash, or antibacterial dentalrinse. Seven different pressure settings enable you to vary water flow for maximum personalcomfort and results, and a convenient button on the handle puts on/off control right at yourfingertips. The 10-ounce tank comes with a protective cover and lifts off of the5-1/4-inch-by-3-3/4-inch base for easy filling and cleaning. With 3 feet of coiled hose, you have plenty of room tomaneuver. The unit's four color-coded, easily interchangeable jet tips make this an ideal unit forthe whole family, and it'll leave your dentist speechless!--Erin Brown ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars I wanted the Power - But didn't get It
I had a WaterPik many years ago, and have really missed it. The Interplak just doesn't have enough power. I was able to use Level 7 from day 1. Since it doesn't have much power, I run out of water before making it around my whole mouth. It is better than nothing, but I wish it had more pressure so I would feel more refreshed. My suggestion is - keep looking for a WaterPik.

2-0 out of 5 stars Well, it's not the WJ7
First of all, Target.com is selling the wrong unit. The WJ7 has received rave reviews elsewhere, and I made my selection based on those.<br /> <br /> Unfortunately, what I received was a WJ7R. That "update" has not been as well received. I have seen a number of complaints concerning low-pressure on the "R".<br /> <br /> To make matters worse, the unit wouldn't pump. I followed the instructions, including the adddendum inside the reservoir, to the letter and got no water to pump.<br /> <br /> When I took the defective unit back to Target, all they had on the shelves were the WJ7B, still not what I ordered.

1-0 out of 5 stars Conair should be ashamed
Out of the box, this piece of equipment should have worked perfectly. A strong sream of water should have been jetting from the hand-held spout but alas, the stream of water reminded me of one of the stone cherib statues peeing water into a fountain basin.

I thought that maybe I got a lemon, but after reading other comments regarding this piece of junk, the odds are I didn't. I will be returning it to where I purchased it for a full refund, unless, between now and then, my opinion on this product can be altered.

What a waste of time and money for me as a consumer, the store from which I bought it, and finally the manufacturer. Did they think that letting this mistake of a product was going to be accepted by the public as a vaiable dental aid? What are some of these corporate decision makers thinking? Why? If the answer is money, then that doesn't even make sense. Because everyone loses money on this kind of product offering.

1-0 out of 5 stars Stay far away...
Updating my prior review. The product generally works OK for a month or two and then it dies. I'm now on my 2nd unit and it has gone bad. Warrant service is great, but the product lasts only for a month or two of active use.

1-0 out of 5 stars I agree with everyone else
I got this thing as a Christmas present from my mother. We had a WaterPik at home, but I was away at college and so my mom got me this one. I was overall pleased with it at first; although the pressure is certainly not as great as the WaterPik, I was able to get a satisfying clean feeling at level 7. Note, however, that this was the first time I had used such a device in quite some time and my gums were not prepared for it; I could NOT have used the WaterPik at the highest level without first gradually building up the pressure for a few weeks.

I too was disappointed in the size of the reservoir. It is indeed a pain to refill in the middle of a cleaning. Indeed, with the WaterPik I would often go through two full reservoirs, so I often find myself refilling and re-refilling the Conair.

Anyway, now it's nearly Christmastime again, and this Conair Interplak water jet has gone south. The water pressure is miniscule on all settings; it doesn't change at all from 1 to 7. It's basically useless now.

I would not recommend this product, and I instead recommend that you get the real thing, a WaterPik. My family's has lasted over 10 years. ... Read more

This relaxing foot spa restores the energy back into tired feet in just 10 to 15 minutes and can be used either wet or dry. The six different touchpad controls are large and easy to press with a toe and can be combined to offer 26 varying spa settings. The water jet setting turns on four whirlpool jets, which envelope your feet in a vortex of soothing, swirling water. For more invigorating action, the bubbles setting releases thousands of tiny bubbles from aeration jets along the bottom of the foot bath. You can add gentle vibration for more restorative work on tired, achy feet. The foot spa offers high or low speeds for each of these settings and also provides the option of heat (which is more of a "keep warm" setting so you’ll want to start out with warmer water) with vibration or bubbles. A hinged splashguard partially covers the top of the foot spa and keeps water from splashing onto your floor or carpet. Two circular loofah discs, resting in the splashguard, are available to smooth away calluses and dry patches on feet. As a bonus, this unit ships with a pair of soft gel "footprints" that can be placed over the aeration jets for additional comfort. Conair’s Vortex foot spa is covered by a limited one-year warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Conair Whirlpool Action Foot Spa - Model FB20R
My feet suffer from Arthritis, Neuromas and a couple of Claw Toes. (that's why I'm remaining anonymous) Never the less, believe me when I tell you, this foot spa will help you like no ordinary vibrating foot bath ever did. The jets are powerful (oh God, between the toes is sheer heaven) the bubbles are heavy weight and the vibration strong. I filled it with warm water and it STAYED warm! I recommend a capfull of "Masada" Eucalyptus Bath Salts in the warm water and baby, you're gonna believe in miricles! You know, all we customers ask is that the product live up to its claims and charge us a reasonable price, well this is it. I will definatly try other Conair products because of this experience, and by the way, I understand that there are two other foot spa models in the Conair line that offer even more treats, like assorted attachments and remote control! GO ENJOY!

5-0 out of 5 stars Could there be a better foot spa?
I dont think there could be a better foot spa than this one. Conair has really made a gem of a footspa. Following is my delight with this footspa.

1. Heat. It does not heat water. However, unless you're soaking your feet in the Arctic or soaking for over 30 minutes, theres no need for the spa to heat the water. I never understood the need for heating the water from cold or maintaining 105 degree temperatores, but if heating of water is a concern for you, I wouldnt get this foot spa.

2. Bubbles. This spa does remarkably well. Many foot spas I've owned (homedics, dr scholls) are very very weak in the bubble department. This spa has good strong bubbles all along your feet. Of course considering your feet are places right on top of where bubbles will come out, dont expect gale force winds to be bubbling on your feet. The bubbles are relaxing, substantial and I have yet to have this clog.

3. Vibration. VERY GOOD! I've owned many footspas and this one is the first that doesnt sound like a train is going through my bedroom. Even on high speed with bubbles and jets this spa is quite quiet. The vibration is powerful and very soothing.

4. Water Jets. This is the centerpiece for this footspa. No other spa has jets of water like a jaccuzzi on your toes. The jets are very relaxing and are a good compliment to bubbles and massage.

5. Bottom of footspa. No spikes!! Thank goodness! Homedics has determined that we want spikes under tired swolen feet. Fortunately Conair thinks differently and my feet arent spiked by an uncomfortable bottom.

6. Splash Factor. Even when overly filled, this spa causes very little splash despite having bubbles, vibration and water jets. Of course with bubbles you will have splash factor, but put a towel under your footspa and your carpet wont get wet.

7. Loofah pads. Just ok, not really good for smoothing rough feet, but pretty relaxing to rub your feet over the pads. Pads are removable for cleaning or if you just dont want to look at them

All in all, a fantastic foot spa and well worth every dime ... Read more

This luxurious lotion dispenser from Conair improves on the soothingpower of lotion by warming it up. Built with a variable temperature control, thedispenser heats up to 16 ounces of lotion at a time. The simple power padfeatures red and green indicator lights to signal when the lotion's ready, whichtakes around two minutes. Lotion dispenses with a one-touch depression of theunit's upper section. A one-hour automatic shut-off cuts power if you forget to,and the lotion reservoir removes for cleaning in the dishwasher. 5-0 out of 5 stars Feels like butter!
This is the best invention yet. I could not believe how warm and smooth the cream felt. What a difference from cold cream to warm cream. The cream itself was smoother and yes, buttery! I love this, this is my best investment yet!

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Gift
Such a thoughtful gift. A real treat for those of us living in colder climates - especially in the winter. The warm lotion is truly a treat to dry, itchy winter skin. Anyone would love this!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Love the heated lotion!
I look forward to taking a shower so I can get out and use the hot lotion, especially good for a cold day!

5-0 out of 5 stars WARM LOTION FOR AFTER SHOWER--WONDERFUL!
What a brilliantly simple idea! At first, this seemed like one more useless gadget, until I thought about the dry, itchy skin my husband and I are plagued with each winter. We use lotion daily after showering, which helps alot, but on cold winter mornings that lotion is COLD and thick. Warming it in this contraption was the solution! It takes 2 minutes to heat up, then the lotion goes on like warm silk. And no more itching. It's really a neat little product!

4-0 out of 5 stars Good, but could be better.
I got this for my wife. She likes it, and it does a good job of warming lotion.

I thought unit was on the large size. It holds a LOT of lotion, which might be good if you lather down your body a couple of times a day. It is too big for those who use specialty lotion in relatively small amounts. In addition, the dispenser is also not as sturdy as it looks in the picture.

Am I pleased with the purchase? Yes. But with a little better design, this would have been a superb product. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars It Actually Works (mostly)
I've been using this product for 2 1/2 weeks - Conair's recommended adjustment period of 10-12 uses. It has pluses and minuses; and, I've learned a few things since I started using it.

If you currently use wax or an epilator (and like the results) you will NOT be happy with this. It lasts exactly as long as shaving and is about as close. It is not to be used in the bikini area and I would not stick it under my armpits for anything - so you still have to use a razor. I also find it hard to use around my ankles and knees.

On the plus side, I can use it when ever, or how often, I want. It is easier for me to use on the backs of my legs than shaving. It exfoliates beautifully and it doesn't leave any red bumps. The hair is left tapered so stubble shows a bit less than shaving. It works much better than any electric razor or cream I have ever used. I have course dark hair against white skin (prone to ingrown hairs), so hair removal is always a challenge for me.

Tips: They are not kidding when they say to use it on completly dry skin. The first few times I tried it, my moisturizer gummed up the pads. And, even worse, I hit a sweaty spot, the thing stuck, and I got a rug (exfoliater?) burn. Do not try to sand off every single hair the first few times or you will sand off skin!!! Just follow up with a razor until you get use to it. I find that taking a quick pass over everything and then going after the remaining hair a second (or even third) time works much, much better (and I don't get burns.) It really does take a few trys to start getting good results.

The pads are washable!!! A single pad clogs up and quits working before I finish my first leg. So, I line them all up and replace them as I need them. When I am all done, I wash them off with an old soft toothbrush and let them air dry - good as new.

2-0 out of 5 stars Nope, doesn't work. Trust me.
I absolutely loved the buffing effect of this product ... but does it remove hair? It is definitely not an ultimate hair remover ... it reduces the amount of hair but buffing them down a bit, but not entirely and not everywhere. You'll need to compliment it with razor or something else.

Before I purchased this product, I read most of the reviews and they all seemed to be very positive. I'm always in hunt for better hair removing products and decided to give this one a try. It is truly pain-free, but think about it logically, other than razors, there is no other way of getting the hair without pain ... if there was, don't you think that all the salons would use it instead of wax???

I have fine dark hair (on light skin) so it's easy for me to see that it didn't do what it claims.

I admit, I was tempted to keep it just because -- as I mentioned earlier -- it does such a good job buffing the skin and making it feel smooth, but for this kind of money, it wasn't worth keeping and I sent it back a few days ago.

4-0 out of 5 stars LOVE IT, BUT FIRST TIME USERS BE CAREFUL
When I first found out about the Conair Hair Removal System, I admit that I was apprehensive about buying it. I have extremely sensitive skin, and I'm always looking for an alternative to shaving, waxing,or liquid hair removers. So I finally went out and bought one. I used it tonight for the first time, and WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! As I'm typing this, my thighs are burning. I have a few scrapes here and there, with a little bleeding. Now don't get the wrong impression, I do love this product. My problem was that I used too much pressure, and I also kept it in one area too long. First time users should follow the instructions exactly as they are written. Use light floating pressure, while keeping the buffer (THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT IT IS) moving at all times in a circular motion, and don't keep it in one area for long. I'm going to keep my Conair Buffer because I definitely feel that it was a worthwhile investment. The product itself didn't bring on my irritation and discomfort. It was because I was using it wrong. I know now what to do. As for my legs, they are silky smooth and hair free. I'm happy. I'll just throw on some Udder Balm tonight before bed, and let it moisturize and soothe my skin. I'm looking forward to my next buffing session!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars Hair removal without water!
We have a tiny bathtub which is hard for me to get into and out of so this is just great! I now have non-hairy legs again! I used udder balm as an alcohol-free moisturizer after I was done. I highly recommend this product.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Product
My suggestions...
1. Follow the intructions completely.
2. Shower or rinse off afterwards.
3. Supplement hard to reach areas with razor.
4. Don't overuse since hair will stay away longer.
5. Your skin will be sensitive afterwards so plan accordingly.

If you do all of this you will LOVE this product. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Not great, and why is listed as a kitchen accessory?
I have used this dryer when we travel to hotels, where it installed as a guest convenience.
First, I have to wonder why the item is listed at Amazon as a kitchen accessory...Uh, do you want people blow-drying their hair in YOUR kitchen?
Back to QUALITY...this dryer is very limited in its drying ability, and has limited settings. It is also on the flimsy side, and is rather toy-like. Unless you have a crew-cut, you'd better plan on taking a long time to dry your lovely long tresses.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Bathroom Accessory
The power and versatility of this product has captivated the whole family to the extent we are ordering another one for another of our bathrooms.

2-0 out of 5 stars Kind of cheap, even for price.
This hair dryer is adequate, but nothing special. It has only two heat settings, and the base/holder is flimsy plastic. Having the holder is why I bought it--no more cords on the bathroom counter--but it's not a very sophisticated hairdryer. Note also that the plug-adapter will cover both outlets. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars mine broke!
I bought this blowdryer a few months ago and all of a sudden it just doesn't turn on anymore... this is after the cord retraction feature already broke earlier. I never dropped it or handled it roughly, so it is quite a mystery. Please save some money and the environment from more trash, and pass on this one.

2-0 out of 5 stars Loud, not effective
Loud, not particularly good at drying hair, and the cord is hard to get to retract. I prefer my tiny European travel dryer--even though I have to put a special plug on the end, it is far quieter and far more effective.

4-0 out of 5 stars It's A Pretty Good Dryer!
I'm not sure how quiet a hair dryer is supposed to be, so if this one is really noisy, then it's news to me, and I guess I have never had a quiet one before. It dries pretty quickly, and when measured up against those of friends, seems to dry faster than theirs. The cord keeper was a nice add-on that I wasn't looking for, but after using it for some time, I liked the fact that the cord has not become a twisted tangle of cord. The folding handle makes it a bit easier for the traveler to pack it in a suitcase.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not great...
I bought this hair dryer a while ago, and it is alright. It does take a while to dry my hair, and the cord keeper doesn't work unless you feed it in after you untwist it. It is VERY loud, and every few minutes I have to step out of the bathroom or stick my head out the window because my head is on fire. I would shop around before getting this.

5-0 out of 5 stars Blow Dry Away Your Worries
The previous hair dryer I owned (which was not made by Conair) was heavy, bulky, and had a long cord that became wrapped up into one gigantic knot. When its on/off switch fell off, I tossed it in the garbage and went in search of a better hair dryer. I found it in Conair's version. This hair dryer is extremely lightweight and durable. It is also easy to operate; the over four-foot cord retracts with the simple push of a button. The handle folds parallel under the dryer's head, which allows for easy storage in my bathroom drawer. It also fits neatly into a suitcase or duffel bag for travel. The dryer also boasts two heat settings and a cool-shot button for putting hair into place, while its 1,875 watts of power cuts down on drying time. Finally, the bright purple plastic exterior (along with its other offerings) makes it an attractive buy.

I've owned this hair dryer for over two years and haven't had one problem with it. However, it does come with a two-year warranty against any defects. I highly recommend this quiet, stylish, convenient hair dryer. ... Read more

Perfect for the pre-teen set, this hair wrapping tool is great fun at slumber parties or for primping for the next Christina Aguilera concert. Designed for medium to long hair, the battery-powered Quick Wrap Hair Art kit wraps a lock of hair in bright-colored thread within minutes, avoiding the laborious process of wrapping by hand. A wire threader helps you gather a few strands of hair and "thread" them into the wrapping tool. Simply slide the tool’s wrap button up and down while following the length of the hair, knot the bottom of the thread, and decorate your wrap with beads or charms to finish the look. The wrapping tool also unravels thread when you are ready to take your wraps out. The entire kit comes with one wrapping tool, two threaders, two spools of string, one extra bundle of string, 12 beads, and one AA battery. 5-0 out of 5 stars It ROCKS!
The Conair Quick Wrap is a great Hair tool! I wraps very easily! I also think that the beads are really cool and that the colors of string are neat! I have a suggestion after you wrap some of your hair then you can take a pen or pencil and wrap the just wrapped hair around that and then take the pencil out and you have spiral hair wrap! GET THIS ITEM!

2-0 out of 5 stars be wary...
I am a proffessional hair wrapper, among other things, and I would be wary of this product. I have seem many people who have tried to use this product at home, and many have come to me to get their hair wrapped properly. This product, while very cost effective (compared to approx. $15-30 for each professional wrap), they are hard to use and often create uneven, messy wraps which do not look the same as the real thing. I have heard stories about people's hair getting caught in the device. I do not wish to bash this product, I just want people to beware that they do indeed get what they pay for and there is definitely a learning curve to be able to make good looking wraps with this product--dont' expect perfect results the first few times you use it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Product
Last year I received this item as a gift. I have had a few of these wraps professionally done. They costed about twenty dollars each. This holds the wraps tight as long as you get a good knot at the bottom. It takes a lot of practice to get them to come out evenly. Definetly a fun product. You can buy some colored thread and use it match your outfit!! Totally cute!! ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars reputable brand but too hot to handle
I have had my Conair translucent dryer for over a year (and I blow-dry daily). Pros- hair dries FAST due to the SUPER heating elements. It's lightweight, and not as loud as some dryers I've used. The filter snaps on and off easily, so a quick cleaning is no problem. Not many dryers come with three heating options (four, when you count the cool shot button) AND three speeds, as this one does.
That said, the cord is really thick and often rolls up on its own--annoying--plus there's no hang loop. The heat is almost too hot. It sometimes smells like the plastic is melting. I definately wouldn't recommend this to someone with fine or damaged hair.

4-0 out of 5 stars Beautiful and useful
This hairdryer is wonderful. Works great! Enjoy ease of use and looks. Only drawback is the additional parts tend to fall off easily.

1-0 out of 5 stars Too much
I really didn't like this hairdryer because when I did use
I felt like my hair was singed. On top of that it made my
hair frizzy with flyaways. I definetly would not recomend
this dryer.

1-0 out of 5 stars Not so impressed
I used this dryer and loved it for about 2 weeks then the heat went out on it. I brought it back and got a new one(the same kind) and now 6 months later it won't even turn on. I am done with these dryers, they keep breaking.

2-0 out of 5 stars smells like somthing's burning
I have used this dryer for a couple of years with no problems but just started noticing the burning smell (mentioned in a previous review) when using the high setting. The smell is worrisome enough to stop me from using it, and I'll be getting a replacement soon. ... Read more
