Don't Buy
I bought this phone about a month ago because I was looking for a cheap phone with caller ID. Needless to say this phone is cheap for a reason. The phone requires 4 AA batteries to get the caller ID to work. When I put them in the caller ID showed nothing. I thought it was broken until I found that I could see the caller ID if I held the phone at an angle and in the light. If I looked straight on, I saw nothing. The caller ID system is a joke. If you are buying this phone for solely the PHONE, then it is a good purchase. But if you want this phone for the caller ID system then save your money. It isn't backlit and it is impossible to read. I have already ordered a different phone.

Good and Cheap - Works Great!
This is a good buy if you want a corded phone. It has a nice look to it and is easy to use. You have to put in your area code, language (they have 3 available), and the time. It holds batteries to keep up with the caller id stuff, but it is still a dependable phone for when the lights go out. The caller id is good and easy to read. It has call back for the last number called and you can do all kinds of stuff like store numbers on a speed dial and even a one touch dial for a few numbers. ... The phone has a nice sound and doesn't sound like a cheap phone. There wasn't anything wrong with this phone that I can tell. The programming on this phone when you get it isn't too terribly painful. Cheap Phone Beware
I purchased this phone. It malfunctions often. Many of the number keys do not work. The sound quality is bad. Batery life is very short. If you do buy this phone make sure you have a backup phone; becaues it malfunctions often. The answerning machine recording quality is very poor. buy it for looks not for functions
Whoever wrote the specs for this phone was obviously copying text from some other fancier phone since most of the features mentioned are NOT included with this phone. Also please note that the review by Lynnaye is apparently hogwash written by a paid representative of this company (see this person's other reviews and you'll see what I mean. Cosmetically its ok so feel free to use it as a prop.

Not Quite what Amazon says it is.
I bought this item thinking it had music on hold, like Amazon says in its description. However this phone does not even offer the basic hold feature -- let alone a music enhancement. I also checked the instruction manual and it makes no mention of it. This phone also does not have the "flash" function, as the description says. You have to press the switch hook in order to check your call waiting.

However, it does offer the ringer on/off option and is tone/pulse switchable. The redial feature is activated by pressing the gold circle in the middle of the "dialing pad".

Overall, this phone does not have all the features that Amazon says it does. But if you want an interesting looking, cheap, no frills phone, to put in the extra bedroom, this might be a good choice.

Good product, Fast service
I ordered this telephone for its style, I wanted something that looked old-fashioned but not too frilly. It seems to be of reasonably good quality. My main suggestion is with regard to color of the phone. From the name and order info offered I assumed the phone only came in the color black, no other colors being offered. However, when it arrived the product's box had a photo of a white phone, which I would not have found acceptable, the phone inside the box turned out to be a dark green in color which, as it happens, was even better for my purposes than the black. This variety of colors is something that should be addressed in the order process so that the purchaser does not have to send back a phone of an unacceptable color.

Value for money
I bought this phone last week. Its a good product. Works well. Has push buttons instead of rotary dial. That compromises on the elegant look, but makes it more suited to today's digital world by supporting tone dialing, which makes calls to automated numbers possible from this phone.

The phone is made of plastic, and does not have the kind of finish you would expect from an elegant phone. But definitely worth the money. ... Read more

Adorable!
Fun and cute phone that has been working well for a year now. The hold music is cute! I would purchase this again but the only drawback is that the earpiece can lift of the receiver if the telephone is pushed up or moved against something (my cat does it). While this doesn't happen often, I thought I would mention it. I would still purchase it for the quality, price, functions, and nice appearance.
