5-0 out of 5 stars incredible!!!
All but one channel has just as good reception as my digital cable had.I bought the antenna before I had my cable turned off to make sure it was going to be watchable.I could not beleive how clear it was.

1-0 out of 5 stars This product stinks!
I bought this product because I wanted to replace my old [ ] antenna. The [ ] antenna was a pretty good one except that both dipoles had broken off after it was knocked over.Anyways I bought this product at a []. I bought it because I did not want any dipoles to break again. When Ihooked it up to my tv the clarity was horrible! One every station there were at least 20 lines going horizontally across the tv.I tried readjusting the gain control on the back but nothing seemed to work.I ended up returning it.Please don't waste your money!

5-0 out of 5 stars Product works as written
Everything that Jensen promises about this product is true!I was very skeptical of this product working as I had read a lot of bad reviews about this product AFTER I had just ordered it from another online store for about...I already had the Radio Shack ATV1000, and it performed so-so, but probably requires constant adjustment between channels.

My reason for wanting a omni-directional antenna (one that didn't require constant adjustment) is because I own a ReplayTv ShowStopper, a digital video recorder, and I needed it to record shows unattended.

I am very happy with this product. It performs as stated.I live in Sacramento, CA, so your results with this product might vary depending on the distances from your home to any of the local stations.I also make sure to read the directions, not to mount it directly on top of the TV, or place near any large metal objects.I take it a step further by plugging in its power cord to an isolated power strip and make sure the coax cable doesn't touch other cords (interference).

I say try the product, but save your receipt.Hopefully you will be as pleasantly surprised as I was.

1-0 out of 5 stars slim look and poor performance
This antenna has a low-profile inobtrusive look, and comes with a built-in 30dB amplifier with adjustable gain. However, the passive part of the antenna (the dipoles which actually pick up the signal from the air and convert it to electrical signal fed into the amplifier and further into the TV) appears to be mediocre. This is not surprising since it is known that efficient antennas usually have their geometrical size comparable with the wavelength of the signal which they are designed to receieve. For the channels 1 through 10 or so, the required size is in the meter range. The Jensen product is a lot smaller than that, which makes me think that they sacrificed the performance of the dipoles in favor of making the antenna a lot smaller, and tried to get its efficiency back to the "rabbit ears" by using a built-in amplifier. I hoped that it would work slightly less than the cheapest "rabbit ears" antenna that I already have - but in fact, I got extremely poor reception even at a maximum amplification - much worse than I had with a primitive dipole antenna. I had to return this product. In my understanding, it would work only in the areas with a direct view of the transmitter unobstructed by terrain features, where the sensitivity can be traded for a small size and easy wall mount. I find the Jensen's claims that it provides a better reception than non-amplified antennas wrong and misleading.

1-0 out of 5 stars Not a good one
I completely agree with the other reviewers. This antenna is not at all effective. Tried it all over the room etc but never got half the stations the plain old rabbit ears brought in. Returned it to the store. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Gets all the DC HD channels
This antenna works great. I'm able to get all the D.C. High Definition channels. I can even get the Baltimore channels when I rotate it toward Baltimore. After spending over $200 trying other antennas, this was the answer for my HD reception in Fort Washington, MD

1-0 out of 5 stars yeah
I disagree with some of the 1 star reviews below, but i have to say that, why a antenae, if you are buying off of amazon.com, with a *computer* than you obviously have enough money for that, unless someone gave it to you, oh wait interweb isn't free. yeah why would you ever buy a antenae, thats just plain dumb, go get a dish for 25 bucks somewhere. or cable, then you could share your interweb bill with you tv bill. Common sense people. anways Jensen isn't a very good brand, go RCA or sony all the way.

1-0 out of 5 stars This sucks
Antennas suck period. Just get cable. Not a freakin anntena. It has the worst picture avaiable and almost no channels. Satellite has good picture and is worht its money. If there's actually anyone out there that has atenna then I'm gonna laugh.

1-0 out of 5 stars NOT much better than a ... RCA antenna
I have RCA antenna that I bought from ... it received few channels and was working fine ...
I bought Jensen TV910 antenna for more than twice of the price. It says Receives channels 2 - 69, but it received the same channels as RCA antenna, only few channels.

3-0 out of 5 stars Good on some channels and bad on others.
The Jensen 910 is good on some channels but very poor on others.
After about a week of use, the light bulb burned out behind the blue Jensen name
on the lower right of the platform. Made in China. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Better than most internal antennas
I mounted this antenna in the attic for convenience sake because I did not want to deal with external issues like mounting it to the roof, grounding it, visual detractions. Reception depends on where you situate the unit, as that changed based on location and even whether you tilted it on its side, but it is improved. I suspect that external mounting would further improve things. I had to replace one of the crimp connectors as it fell off during installation. That is something to watch out for.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for recieving Local Broadcasting
I'm not a techno person but I have used amplified indoor, wirey outdoor antennas and satellite/cable.
First installed the TV3000 as an indoor antenna. Recieved better reception then any other indoor powered or outeside wirey antenna. Then installed it outside on a 5feet pole in the ground. The channels clear and recieved more channels. But it is now 15feet above the roof and I am now recieving all the channels that the area has.
If there are large objects between you and the broadcasting station. There is not much you can do, but get cable or satellite dish.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not Satisfied completely
I bought the Tv3000 from a computer swapmeet. I got a good price, but the results are varied. I cannot get all of the channels to come in clear. I followed instructions, but due to my setup, I could not do some of the things they instructed me to do. I live near the ocean....does that have anything to do with it? Any tips to get better reception on some channels? The manual said that if this happens, I am either living in a bad location, did not follow the manual. I must live in a bad location....

5-0 out of 5 stars The greatest antenna ever.
I was on the development team for this particular product, and in my un-biased opinion I think it is possibly the greatest recieving device ever. I am sure that I don't appreciate the poor rating this item has recieved, and have decided to take it personally. I think you'll find that if you adjust the variable attenuation dial on the device you will get better reception than you can possibly imagine in your wildest dreams. While developing this device, I was so dedicated to it's completion, and mastery of the antenna world, that my wife left me, and took the children. I overcame this obstacle as it was so obviously a clever ploy by the competition to distract me from my most important work to date. I am sure that if you simply read the instructions furnished with this product, you will be more than satisfied with it's high quality. Even though I no longer work for this company, a minor disagreement, I want to see this product succeed. Disregaurd the other reviews that were obviously writen by the competition. But you already saw that didn't you?

3-0 out of 5 stars Don't expect miracles if you live in the middle of nowhere!
Someone once told me that the worse outdoor antenna is better then the best indoor antenna. This antenna works both in and outdoors, but the secret is to align the dish so that it is optimized for where you are in relation to the surrounding station antennas. If you live in between two cities like I do, this antenna gives you good signals on most of the channels ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Remote for the money.
I've tried several remotes in this price range and this one seems to be about as good as it gets for this money.
It even works with the Toshiba TV we bought about 2 months ago as well as the DIRECTV tuner, JVC VCR and Sony DVD player.
I use it instead of the universal remote that came with the DIRECTV tuner because it has more functions for the other devices and has a superior layout.

1-0 out of 5 stars Not with Apex
I took Michael's advice and bought this remote at a local store. I needed to replace a lost remote for my Apex DVD player (1100W). The back of the packaging lists Apex under DVD players. Got it home and it didn't work. Tried the "Code Search" feature with no success. I happened to have a second Apex DVD player (different model) so I tried the Apex code on that and it didn't work either. I'll be returning it.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not Compatable
I origionaly purchesed this item for three reasons: one, the price; two, the the looks, and three, the functions. To my dissmay when it arrived it didn't work for my Philips TV which I bought last year. I was surprised that it did work for all the other components though. My adivce to you about this remote is if you really want go to the store so you can see what componemts it is compatibale with. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Good buy for the money
Installed a TV2000 on the north wall of my house (vinyl siding) and routed included cables to interior feed. I use this antenna for local Atlanta HDTV stations. All stations are received with maximum reception (100/100). HD broadcasts are incredible. Big plus - this antenna blends well with house exterior. Benefit for those with strict homeowners association enforcement codes. Easy to install.

1-0 out of 5 stars This thing will break!
I purchased this unit and went to install it on my roof. I started to get fairly good reception, but then as I was tacking the unit to the roof the connector came apart. I notice someone else here said the same thing. There is really no way to fix it, and I cannot believe how poorly built it is. I'm going to look at a different brand next time around. What a waste of money...

4-0 out of 5 stars nice antenna
in west los angeles the arms of the antenna should actually point southwest to northeast. the antenna is good for inhouse installation. i installed it east-west wise to fit it on a wall, just behind the blinds. i can receive about 10 channels now (used to receive only 2). another advantage is that you don't have to adjust the antenna again after it is installed, compared to the pain you take for a retractable antenna. but it takes more time and energy to mount it the first time.

2-0 out of 5 stars Recoton TV2000
This antenna did not work at all for me. I only received 1 channel and that was full of snow. The antenna is not made very well. The only connector kept on falling off, and a call to there CS dept. was really no help at all. They offered to replace it at my expense, and that it would take 4-6 weeks to get a new one. I would choose a different brand.

4-0 out of 5 stars If installed properly, this antenna gives me digital quality
Antennas are extremely difficult and subjective to judge unless you know how to install them propoerly. The TV2000 is a bi-directional antenna and must be installed at right angles to the broadcast antenna. In Los Angeles all signals come from north of the city. The arms of the TV2000 must point east and west to obtain the sweetest picture your TV can receive short of a digital dish. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Reception
I have a Recoton TV575 and get wonderful reception...I also have a Recoton TV200 which does a poorer job. I do wish the design was less chunky...it's a bit much sitting on top of the TV. Hope you get a shipment soon.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good amplification
Performance: 4 stars This powered antenna provides better TV picture quality and radio reception in every instance I compared it to my old non-amplified indoor antenna. Even when receiving strong broadcast stations, this product enhanced the cripsness of the TV image. It does not reduce ghost images though; for that you'd need specialized circuitry.

Caution: cranking the amplification to maximum enhances FM radio reception, but seems to overload the reception of TV channels, which become distorted unless you turn it down to about 90% amplification.

Comparisons: I compared this product to another Terk amplified antenna shaped as two diamonds, which claimed that it did not need to extend to great lengths as rabbit ears to deliver a good picture. The Recoton TV575 delivered better picture than the Terk.

Recoton's next step up, the TV600 antenna, has less UHF amplification power, so I did not go for it even though it was just $10 more...

1-0 out of 5 stars Not good if you live in the basement
I had some difficulty getting channels 2-6 (low band)with this antenna. These channels tend to be very hard to tune into because of electrical interference. Plus, the fact that I live in a basement. Outdoor antennae are still the best provided you don't have to drop your coax cable beyond 15 ft.

4-0 out of 5 stars I've never owned a better amplified indoor antenna for the $
Even though the picture may not be as good as cable, I get channels I never thought I'd get and I can now watch Monday night football and it doesn't look like it's snowing in every game! Take my word for it, this one is worth it! ... Read more
