Hmmm
It's about 1 dollar per cd, but technically i saved money from having to drive since this was sent to my doorstep. A good option. Plus these cd's can stand up to 16X burning.

You get what you pay for.
These headphones can't seem to handle any bass or loud volume. You hear a rattling sound if you turn your stereo above 6. Also, you hear the people talking around you, and they can hear what your listening to.

Great headphones
These headphones are excellent. The sound quality is unmarred, not tinny - however I'm not an audiophile so I can't say anything about bass (the bass seems fine for me). They're lightweight so they don't feel heavy on your head, they clamp well, and they're inexpensive. Well worth the money. The only thing I could say in favor of not getting these is if you have a high probability of them being broken (taken by children, siblings, etc). Then you might want to invest into a pair of headphones in a heavier-duty class than these. ... Read more

Do not buy these CD's
Do not purchase any Yamaha blank media. After about 2 months after I had recorded audio on one of the cd's, the undercoating started to chip and no longer worked. I had to throw the CD away. I'm afraid this is going to happen to all my Yamaha recorded CD's. ... Read more

Poor Construction
The ear cushions didn't bother me, I actually found these headphones relatively comfortable. However, after daily use for only 8 months, the adjustable plastic portion of the headphones snapped off when removing them from my head. That's just poor material choice. I'm glad I didn't spend much on these.

Awesome Sound; Pitiful Ergonomics
Before purchasing these I had read other reviews with a similar message, and figured my ears could surely sacrifice a bit of comfort for some economically priced accoustics. I was wrong. I can't explain exactly why, but these things are QUITE uncomfortable. Perhaps more padding on the ears would help, or less pressure applied by the adjoining headband. Who knows... Seriously consider another set... Currently I can only wear these for about 10-20 minutes at a time before it becomes so uncomfortable that I have to take a break. I have a nagging suspicion that they're actually cutting off some circulation to my upper neck. Definitely considering returning them for this reason alone.

Great sound, but not really comfortable
The sound is really good but after listening for like half hour, my ear will begin to feel uncomfortable.

Good speakers, bad microphone
Good solid speakers with the quality you could expect from a low cost Yamaha product. The sound is even better if you plug them into the base of your external powered speakers or system. The microphone, on the other hand, is of a very bad quality. It's hard to install and has very limited mobility. I returned mine after a day because it was just too annoying.

OK for gaming, but...
I ordered this pair of headphones with microphone so I could talk to my teammates while playing multiplayer games online while using the Roger Wilco software. The set works alright for this purpose. The microphone picks up my voice fairly well. However, attaching the mic to the headset was somewhat difficult, and I thought I would break it in the process (very tight fit & cheap plastic.) As for the sound quality, it is adaquate for online gaming, however, they they don't put out very much bass at all.
